It is an excellent spot for a dip surrounded by rocks. It is a decent 10 minute walk downhill to get there. You can swim easily and walk around it to get some nice views of Sorrento. I'd recommend wearing comfortable shoes because it is an incline with stone paved roads. There is parking at the very top but only a few spaces. Overall, a great natural location.

A must-see if you are in the area and value nature at its finest and history right in front of you! We walked from Sorrento, but we are a fit family and not afraid of walking! (you can also take the bus) It's very secluded and an unforgettable walk from the street. Wear good shoes, on rainy days it can be slick. What a beautiful place for a dip, or just to sit on the rocks and meditate on the surreal beauty!

Short walk from the road you find this amazing spot both for a dip in the blue water and great viewpoints. The last steps are slippery. To bring kids younger then 5 might be difficult. Don't miss out on this place if you are nearby! Entry is free but parking 20€ so take the bus, there's a stop.

A real hidden gem. Park the car in the public parking (10 EUR / half day or 20 EUR / full day), then walk 400 m down on the little road to the small inside “lake”, from where you can swim out to the sea. After that you can get dry on the rocks overlooking the sea and Sorrento Bay. Or just do cliff-jumping.
FYI - no toilets or buffet / bar / storage at the venue. You have to leave your stuff on the rocks. Also, all self-service and at your risk, but 100% recommended.

Snorkeling and cliff jumping here was so fun! You can jump from all levels, it's pretty much safe & deep enough to jump anywhere. There is parking for €5 on scooters near the entrance. I recommend setting up your towels and spending most of your time a short walk past the lagoon. Inside the lagoon smells of sewage so a quick stop for photos is enough.

Amazing cove with cliff jumping spots!

Probably the highlight of our visit to Sorrento, a trek down to the beach/cove but worth it. The 5060?/5070 bus takes you back to Sorrento for €1.90

The cliff jumping spots are really fun, around 5/7 meters at different spots with deep water below. Lots of people are here so you can look at others before you get the courage to dive in yourself!

After you can head down to the cove where it’s an extremely busy and picturesque location where you can swim

A MUST for your visit to sorrento

You might want to avoid the Giovanna side (that hole doesn't handle a crowd and is a bit mosquito-y) in favor of the sunnier rocks to the left. It's quite the hike down - and back up, duh! But it's a gorgeous place for a dip in the Med. here in Sorrento. Oh, the walk from town is not for the light hearted either.

Great place near sorrento, water is crystal blue and magical views. Be prepare to walk from the hill down and then up but is worth it.

I recommend water shoes it has rocks at the bottom. There is no place to put the things (only on a rock or on the floor) so travel light.

I went middle of September on a weekday so it wasn't very crowded.

This is a magical spot! I walked from the port all the way up and then down to Bagni Regina Giovanna. It took me about 35 mins. I walk fast! Normally it probably takes about 45 mins. After you make sure way down the path, you will be greeted by an amazing view of the sea through the trees. Its truly a magical place with its ancient ruins. I wonder what it was like hundreds of years ago!

One of the best places to visit around the peninsula. Although it takes around 10 minutes to reach the beach, the beach context is simply amazing with the view to the Vesuvius volcano. There is a parking spot close to the beach with fixed tax of 10euro (5 hours) or 20euro (whole day).

Amazing views, amazing place for a dip, well worth the trek down and up! I’d get in early to get your spot, crowd started to gather around lunch time, can get quite busy! Multiple areas to check out, just follow the paths 👌🏽

We stayed at Relais Regina Giovanna and we’re luckily able to access this beautiful bath from their grounds via a short 10 minute walk. We walked here at 7:30am and had the entire place to ourselves. Absolutely breathtaking!

Short walk to a beautiful swimming cave with clear aqua waters. The water temperature is perfect and the components of the water makes you quite buoyant. There are cliff divers and boats on the other side of the cave. We went on Wed, Aug 9 around 10am and it wasn’t too busy. Would recommend arriving earlier if going on a weekend.

Cute spot to explore. Google maps says you can drive halfway in, but not possible. Do have to park and walk down. The spot is hidden away but not too hard to find. We went early around 9am and there was only around 10 people there. While walking back up, so much more crowded. If you want the place to yourself, go early.

40 minute walk from the sorrento port, but very worth it. The water is amazing and there’s lots of places to put your things although they may not be obvious. The surrounding area to the swimming hole is so fun to explore. It was busy but not overly busy. You can cliff jump from two different locations and the swimming is just awesome. I hope to be back soon!

The natural pool was amazing, and exceeded expectations. We went as a group of 8. We went in Oct, and the crowd at 3pm wasn’t large. Advice: The walk from Piazza Tasso wasn’t bad, but 1km+ was without sidewalk and small shoulder. That created some anxiety. The rocks and steps are slippery around the pool, so take caution.

Awesome place. Such a peaceful place to swim but it can get very crowded so go early. It is about a 30 minute walk from Sorrento center to get to the start of the hike. Then a short 10-15 minutes to the water itself. There is a parking lot nearby that you can pay €10 for half day (that's the shortest) parking. Across from the lot is an awesome salumeria to stop at and get sandwiches from the friendly family owned business. I would recommend water shoes since the tiny rocks can hurt but overall such a refreshing beautiful place!!

This place is amazing and it is just 10min by a bus from the city centre. The water is clear, just be aware to bring appropriate water shoes since it is very rocky and can get unpleasant for your feet.

Hi!
It is a superb location, the water is of a rare clarity.
It's worth visiting, make sure you have drinking water with you. Don't expect sand, there are only stones, but you can sunbathe on the stones.
If you know how to swim, you can get out of the lagoon, swim as long and as far as you want, it's worth it... the water is so salty that it keeps you on the surface without making any effort
Have a nice vacation!
