Caffè Montanucci

We ate lunch there earlier this week and had a lovely time. About 10 Euro pp and you get to choose 3 dishes to put on your plate. We also had a glass of wine and then lovely pastries also. Food was excellent and service good. Try it !

We had a late breakfast here. Pomadoro/mozzarella sandwich, cannoli, pistachio pastry, and cappuccino. Everything was excellent!

A really beautiful cafe in Orvieto.

We stopped here for a snack before we continued our journey.

Service is excellent, the seating area is actually huge (indoor and outdoor)

This space is interesting combination of bar and restaurant. The atmosphere is relaxed, with pleasant and attentive service. On one side there is a cafe bar, on the other side is a restaurant. People relaxed reading newspapers and drinking coffee. The food is very good and there are amazing selections of cakes and very good looking specialty chocolates. There are many types of pasta and all extremely tasty. The wines are excellent. Worth to visit.

This is the store that I always stop by when I visit Orbieto. When I introduced people to this store, everyone liked it.

Great place for a quick coffee. If you are in the mood of something more soothing I recommend the chocolate cake which tastes amazing.

A good spot for a quick bite and a drink. When you order, they give you a number post with something looking like a chicken atop.
When you're finished you take the table number to the checkout and pay.

Great place in the midst of all these tourists. Locals come here tourists come here. Choose what you want at the counter. They deliver pay when you leave.

Food looks pre made during the day and then warmed back up when it's ordered but was still very good. I believe it's more popular for it's cakes and confectionery and by the volume of guests and locals coming in, it shows that it's a good place to visit and sample what's on offer. Some say the prices are a bit high but you would probably only go here on occasions plus it's a small town, I would not expect things to be really cheap just for the tourist.

Quick easy takeaway, great pastry

We came here for breakfast two days in a row. Beautiful pastries, good coffee and excellent service. Also very convenient with number / teller to pay at the end.

Delicious meals. Excellent service. The decorations are made by the famous artist, he works with wood here.

I had a wonderful lunch - vegetable quiche and a delicious cherry tart. Reasonable prices, great service and a nice space.

Delicious and spacious coffee shop on the main street Orvietto. The Americano was great. The savory items are plentiful and of course sweet bakery, cakes, food & drink gifts. A must stop to take a break from the heat, to rest and relax.

The lengths I go to get good chocolate and coffee. To get to this caffe you will take a tram car up the mountain. The assortment of chocolate pasteries is well worth the trip. Orvieto is a small quiet town in the clouds as their chocolate is just heavenly.

Super nice place with food and coffee

I came here while visiting Orvieto, and LOVED their pastry dessert! Their (American) was coffee was also really good! And their service was great; they accommodated the tourists really well. Finally, their bathroom/toilets were clean. I highly recommend visiting!

We went there for a drink today. 3 of us and they offer some snacks accompanying the drinks. Wow the green olives were sooo good. I had some bakery bits which were very nice too! And guess for how much? Only 16€! Wow

Many choices. Excellent food. Quick and courteous service. Reasonable prices. Walk through to the back and then up on the terrace if the weather is good. Really, don’t miss this when in Orvieto.
