Enoteca al Duomo

Wonderful food and location with a view of the Duomo. The owner couldn’t be nicer and more helpful. The prices are also very fair. A real find in Orvieto. Good selection of local wine. Highly recommend.

Hands down the best lasagna I have ever eaten. The staff was amazing. Would come here every day if I could. My wife drank the owners own wine. She loved it and she normally doesn't drink white wine.

Went for a light lunch but the menu looked great so we ended up ordering a full meal. Glad we did because everything was excellent. Kids and grown ups loved their food and great wine choices. Prices were great as well and the location cannot be beat.

We were a group of 5 and we were welcomed by our hostess Julia. The meal was authentic Italian pasta and a lovely Sav Blanc suggested by Julia.
A wonderful dining experience and we will certainly recommend it.

We went in by accident looking for a public bathroom and the lady there allowed us to use it for free and wouldn’t let me pay her, no matter how much I asked. We wanted to eat there after the tour but the place was closed. I hope at least this review helps her ratings because she was very nice, even give my kids a candy.

We sat inside this great enoteca after touring the duomo. Great selection of wines and Prosecco. After our meal we had a lovely chat with our patron who insisted on giving us his wife’s e-mail so that we could plan our next trip to Orvieto. Which we WILL be doing. A truly memorable experience

We stopped here on the Piazza for a quick afternoon drink and snack and couldn’t have been happier. Amazing, friendly and helpful staff and really good food and wine. Highly recommended.

Enjoyed a fabulous lunch outdoors in the shadow of the Duomo. Highly recommend the gnocchi! Bread is wonderful, as is the wine.

Wow what an amazing place with friendly staff and the most beautifull wines and olive oil. Highly recommended to visit when you are in Orvieto.

My wife and I had a delightful time at this enoteca. We asked our waiter for assistance with what we should order from the wine menu based upon our wine preferences, and he brought several bottles for us to try. We settled on a different glass for each of us and enjoyed it. The process was repeated two more times for a total of six different glasses of awesome wines, even one that wasn't offered by the glass (but he opened the bottle to try it, and which I ordered for one of my glasses). Speaking of glasses, they used really nice crystal. Total bill -- 30 Euros for six awesome glasses of wine next to the Duomo, and it included two plates of cheeses and charcuterie. The wine and location were awesome, the service was out of this world. I highly recommend it.

This is an excellent ristorante to sip some wine, have some wonderful pasta, and enjoy the hospitality of the family run establishment. Our guide recommended and we could not have been more satisfied. Great wine, food, and service. A Must Do!!!

Everything is ideally. The staff is really friendly and makes sure you have everything. They make there own wine. They are a bit pricey tho. The food is fantastic in quality and quantity.

First class. Superb selection of wines at fair prices for the quality of wines on offer. Well above the average food served with your wines. Excellent location with views of the duomo
