The award winning and family owned jewelry store Orogami in Orvieto, Italy features exquisite designs and beautifully crafted unique artistic jewelry. Their various collections have received international recognition for their high-quality craftsmanship. The owners were very gracious when I visited their lovely store.

First of all, I love the way they design their pieces as it blends with nature’s forces of life. Secondly, Mauricio & Tiziana Alousio’s (founder) passion to create the most intriguing pieces of art that transcends nature to you and wear it with pride and joy. I’m so pleased that I can wear my jewelry & scarf with historical and forces of nature attached to it.

Very unique design. The owner is kind and has a high knowledge of Duomo in Orvieto. I strongly recommend to have one of the unique designs in store. They have both gold and silver designs. I recommend 👍🏻

I recently revisited Orogami after some 18 years had passed. Massimo kindly inspected my ring from that visit and did a cleaning/refresh while we looked at their unique collection. We found another piece that will be a lovely reminder of this sublime store and Orvieto. The warmth and kindness of the family (Tiziana, Angelica and Massimo) combined with the truly beautiful pieces that they create makes this such a special experience. These people are really kind, considerate and talented. We’ve bought from Origami befor, this time, in June, I wanted a gift for my wife. I also wanted it to be a surprise, so I bought a lovely bracelet, and asked if they would drop it over as we were having dinner (I also recommend Ristorante Il Giardino da Giovanni, the guys a genius!).

At the end of September while traveling in Orvieto, we came across a jewelry store with an original collection that we had not seen in other stores.

We went into it to see if we could find a ring for the lady.

To our amazement the selection presented was amazing and it was difficult to choose.

The seller who presented the details was kind, patient and professional when she gave explanations about each item.

As a result of not being able to decide on one ring, we bought three rings.

During the course of the purchase, the owners arrived who are also the artisans who designed the jewelry, Tiziana and Massimo.

The conversation developed and they spent a lot of time showing us art they make for museums in Italy.

It was an extraordinary experience to meet the team.

No doubt we will be visiting them soon with a new shopping list.

Happening upon this boutique in the charming town of Orvieto ended up being one of the highlights of my trip to Italy. I am in love with the unique pieces I purchased and will treasure them forever. I have the green mother of pearl and rock crystal pendant inspired by the energy and colors of Capri on a beautiful gold chain and also the seed of life gold earings. Additionally my parents purchased one of the enamel and silver rings from the bubble collection for my niece and we plan to order more. Your designs are gorgeous and your story is inspiring. Our first visit to Orogami was in 2007 and of course I fell in love. I went home with an extraordinary white gold and blue topaz necklace and matching white gold knot earrings. Second visit was 2012 and again love. This time white gold and topaz earrings and a beautiful white gold pendant with blue topaz inlaid stones. Our most recent visit was September, last month. Massimo and Tiziana continue to create the most wonderful jewelry. This time I went home with a gold seed bracelet. Their creativity is wonderful. These are very special pieces that make you feel very special when you wear them. Can’t wait to get back. Thank you Massimo and Tiziana.

I went to Orogami having received the high recommendation of a scholar of Renaissance art and the visit was wonderful. The passion and knowledge of the owners and staff was heartfelt and their work is simply beautiful. I will treasure my purchase forever and always think of my time in Orvieto as a gift in itself.

Orogami's jewelry selections are true works of art. There is something beautiful for everyone at various price points. In addition to a lovely bracelet, I purchased a scarf with a design replicating tiles in the Duomo. A portion of those sales support the maintenance of Orvieto's treasured cathedral -- a wonderful contribution to the community.

We were visiting Orvieto from the USA. We stopped in the Orogami to look at the pieces and fell in love. We made a small purchase and plan on making more as they are able to ship. Customer service was perfect, extremely kind and helpful. Our Italian is not great but their English was! The pieces are exquisite!

Orogami is a beautiful jewellery shop in Orvieto Umbria. There are so many beautiful and unique jewellery designed by Massimo and his wife. Massimo explained each jewellery piece with his full enthusiasm and I throughly enjoyed and appreciated it.
I would recommend anyone to visit if they’re visiting Orvieto for sure!

After purchasing a bracelet in 2017, my wife just had to include Orvieto on this trip to Italy so she could go back to Origami. She found some earrings that match her bracelet and that’s all it took. Now I’m trying to get her to go back today for a matching necklace.
