Il Cantuccio Nerano

Although only open for lunch it was the best stop made. Family owned establishment. Mom and pops was there but the daughter (picture) was just a delight. She accommodated all our request and made a few suggestions. My wine choice wasn’t available, so had 2nd choice. The fish dishes were fresh and very tasteful. My gnocchi was cooked to perfection with just the right amount of seasoning/sauce.

I loved the food and the chef Frankie. The chef personally greeted every table and helped with ordering decisions. All the staff was kind. The food was delicious!!! The atmosphere was full of joy and merriment by everyone. I would absolutely return when we are in the area.

This place is outstanding. The service is excellent. The fried mixed fish is delicious. I definitely recommend because the food, service and views.

Hands down best calamari I’ve ever had. We ordered the zucchini flowers (not sure if they are on the menu) to start which are stuffed with ricotta and tempura fried. Service is immaculate. The water and bread bowls are never empty.

As I always mention...good food in Italy is redundant to say! The food is great, but when here in Nerano, order the Spaghetti Nerano....awesome! The service is great, the chef comes to everyone's table and the waters are very pleasant. The price is fair and tte view very nice, specially if you go for dinner!

The owner's moto is - if you don't like the food I pay for it. What else can I say? You can get there by boat mainly as the restaurant based in Nerano village not a very touristic place. So if you ever in Sorrento or Capri, get the boat tour with the skipper and ask him to get you in this restaurant for lunch. You will have a very tasty and good quality food and spectacular view. Price is cheaper then Capri restaurants.

I have to say everything is on point. Really fresh, delicious food. The tuna tartar and mussels were great. A lovely service with a really nice, chill location along the edge of the water (just a little hard to get to). The plates were just so big we unfortunately couldn't get to the dessert.

The food, the ambience everything about this place was incredible. The servers, the staff, etc. Great location we came here for coffee and a pastry we came here for dinner. We spent many meals here! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

Raccomanded but not in summertime. Nerano is a small place and in summertime takes too many people in that minuscule beach.

I loved spaghetti alla nerano but a little expensive, in my opinion.

I had a really fun, joyous and delicious lunch here in a stunning location. The restaurant is set right on the water at the end of the beach. Food was fantastic. Really good hearty, well cooked italian food. The staff here were just lovely. Very friendly and fun with efficient service. It is a bit more pricey than other places in the area, especially their wine, but if you want a great lunch it’s definitely a spot to visit. I’d definitely come back.

Whoever gives this place less than at least 4.5 stars is clinically insane. My photos definitely don’t do the experience justice, but the Spaghetti alla Nerano was one of the best pasta dishes I’ve ever had… and the views from our outdoor table were beautiful. Overall very affordable: our group of 8 ordered a ton of apps, individual entrees, and the wine was flowing the entire time — and we ended up paying less than $50pp. I can’t say enough good things about this spot! (plus I loved that we could swim from our boat to the restaurant dock… earning those calories 😉)

Excellent food, fantastic service and remarkable views of the ocean. If you have money to burn and enjoy seafood, IL Cantuccio Nerano is a worthy restaurant to check out.

One of my favorite places on my trip to the Amalfi Coast! Some of the best food and service I’ve received EVER. All their food was great, especially the seafood and lemon delight, and they had the best limoncello I had in Italy. Pro-tip, they have the best sunset view and are at a portion of the beach that gets the sunlight the longest. A must visit, if you’re in Nerano!

Amazingly helpful Claudio who led our boat docking, wonderful Franco who guided us through pasta for lunch and many appetizers, and Salvatore who made sure we were well taken care of... As a NYer who lived in Roma for one year and is now traveling Italy for 3 months, this pasta dish was one of the most authentic dishes I have had during my Italian visits.

Honestly one of the most memorable dinning experiences of my trip.. The tender from our yacht made accessibility to the restaurant possible. The service was impeccable, the food was delicious and the atmosphere made for one incredible lunch. As an example: My mother who is 78 years old was standing on the chair in the restaurant with Franco singing YMCA waiving a napkin around.. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! THANK YOU!!

What a fantastic restaurant! We arrived from our private boat trip and the table was ready with ice cold water waiting for us. The service was excellent and the children were catered for straight-away. The service was excellent throughout and the atmosphere in the restaurant was the best I’ve experienced in Italy. Can’t wait to go again sometime!

This restaurant was amazing in every way.

We had booked a boat tour around Capri, and asked the skipper to take us somewhere off the beaten path. He took is to Nerano where we had an amazing lunch at Il Cantuccio.

The food was phenomenal and we had the absolute best service and attention to detail that we had during our entire 12 day trip to Rome.

Because we were on the boat and all had our swimwear on, we took a quick dip in the Sea just below the restaurant before grabbing a quick granite and jumping back on the boat.

A perfect day for sure.

Great atmosphere, great quality oysters (100% you have to try!!!) hosts are amazing people. Recommend to everyone.
