Best pizza that I have ever had! Absolutely flawless experience, really friendly staff (thank you Salvatore!) and perfect pizza! Cooked to perfection with a puffy chewy crust and a flavourful sauce and toppings.

All the reviews and blogs are correct, the best pizza we have ever had 🎉

Lovely attentive service, great food. Had the arancini balls and papadelle pasta with beef ragout, partner had the Margherita pizza. Great flavours and good sized meals. My pasta was prettier but I had a taste before taking the picture. Would recommend booking as most tables were reserved.

The staff is very friendly. Everyone speaks English. We asked for advice on which pizza to eat, so they explained each one in detail and recommended a pizza according to our taste.

Great, fairly priced appetizers. Would have had an aged ribeye had it not been so late. They looked beautiful. Split a pizza instead. Dough could have been a touch more crispy but toppings and flavor were superb. Excellent, attentive service. No waiting for check when we asked. Best restaurant on street. Should be averaging 5 stars.

Incredible flavours, presentation, great service and atmosphere. Cold cuts platter, Pasta and fish and Campania wine we ordered - perfect 🥰 The management was very attentive. All staff have such great chemistry. The dessert is a real work of art!

My photographs don't do this place no justice... every dish was plated so beautifully and tasted even better. The deserts were unique not like other places have. Actually the whole experience took me by surprise because i didn't expect this type of a restaurant in an heavily toured place like this (Pompei). I'ts a keeper and we will defiantly come back, for the food and for the great service.

We had a wonderful dinner after a day of touring the ruins. Salvatore was an excellent waiter. He was helpful and had excellent English. He made us feel right at home.

Fantastic meal at Varnelli! Special shout out to the pizza, the dough was so light and airy we could have kept eating them all night! Salvatore was a great waiter, very attentive and made our experience one to remember!

We came in here for our final meal before heading back to the UK, and loved it! The food was amazingly delicious, the cocktails sublime and the service professional and courteous. Would highly recommend for a slightly fancier meal in Pompeii.

It is pretty nice place to have a dinner in Pompei. It is located in the city center. Staff is great and food is delicious. They offer a lot of different types of pizza and I would recommend carbonara cream pizza.

Not sure why this place has so few opinions, it's truly amazing. Food is really tasty. We have ordered primi piatti to start with and pizza. We had to cancel pizza since the primo piatti portion size are so big that we would not manage to eat pizza. We had gniocci and zucchini pasta, totally recommend. Service here is really good! And prices are normal you talking around 40 euro for couple with water not alcohol. Love it

A really good and affordable restaurant. I was expecting quite an expensive lunch since the restaurant is inside a 4 stars hotel but turns out to be really affordable and the quality of food is above standard. Delicious and well worth the price. I would recommend this restaurant to all tourists

Pizza was a little bit wet because of mozarella but overall was very good. The Best thing in this restaurant are desserts. Tiramisu was awesome but the second one with oreo was like Haven in mouth!

Super delicious pizza! We loved it. The appetizer was not a winner, but the pizza more than makes up for it.

Very good food. Menu is well marked for vegan and vegetarian options. Staff were very helpful in selecting wine and service was good.
