New Machiavelli Restaurant

I had a great experience with this restaurant. I arrived on Christmas Day with nowhere to eat and my B&B owner Luigi talked with the owner of this restaurant who reserved a place for me for Christmas dinner! The food was awesome and good value for the price! Thank you so much for letting me have a place for dinner on Christmas Day! I highly recommend this place anytime you're in Pompei!

Unfortunately it was not very busy when we were there. However that didn't matter in the end because the staff was super friendly and the food was absolutely amazing. They also made a effort to make the place valentine's themed. We very much enjoyed the place. So if you ever are in the area definitely give this place a go.

5 minutes walk from the entrance of the Pompei old city, but very different from all the tourists oriented restaurants. Good mix of modern cuisine and italian cuisine. Service is nice, the dishes are very good and very fine, the présentation in the plates is very elaborate. A lot of innovation I loved the lasagne 2.0 (have a look at the picture. What an amazing food. The walnut salad is stunning. The grilled fish with sweet and sour pumpkin fired up my taste buds.
….and you get a bottle yes a bottle of wine from the Montpalcino region for just 15 Euros which is like 40 dollars retail in the USA and 100+ in a restaurant

This restaurant has a very classy ambience. Came here for dinner on a rainy weekday evening. The waiter was very friendly, sincere and attentive, even though he couldn't speak or understand much English. The food was also well presented and delicious, but small in terms of portion. It was a little pricey. However, I felt it was reasonable, given the quality of the food. I would also recommend the cheese ravioli here.

Wow. This was a gorgeous meal with attentive and charming service. The menu was creative, the presentation beautiful, everything fresh and tasty and perfectly prepared. I’ll have a meal this fine perhaps once a year, and I would expect to pay twice as much. Would never have expected to find it on a side street in Pompeii.

Absolutely loved this restaurant. It was a lucky find and alternative to the presidente. The food was so tasty, full of flavour and beautifully presented. The waiters were so friendly, they really did do everything in their power to make our evening a pleasant one. Added to this, the price food quality was really good. We actually expected it to be far more expensive than it was.

Added to this, one of the waiters gave us an excellent great recommendation for a gelato place in Sorrento where I had by far the best lemon gelato I have ever had.

I was a bit sceptical when we just entered, as the restaurant is a quite hidden in a small street and moreover look very fancy, but was heated by this wired heater...nevertheless they managed to walk us through an amazing culinary experience bringing us amazing traditional food, reinvented by the chef and with their passion and kindness the night was top. 5 stars deserved!

Really excellent upmarket restaurant that would not be out of place in London or New York - innovative modern Italian menu but also a second menu with simpler traditional dishes so our teenage companions happy too. Very welcoming and unpretentious, but a cut above similar local offerings.

We have just had a midrange price menu which was of a michelin star standard. The atmosphere was welcoming and food was unforgettable. Local produce and wine was used which exacerbatred our taste experience of a lovely restaurant in a quiet street in Pompeii. Thank you!

Excellent & creative. Service was 1 to 1. Absolutely everything we ordered was cooked & presented just so. The amuse bouche (x2) fun & delic. Sommelier on site. It’s been a while since we had a waiter use a bread crumber!

Quiet and elegant without being ostentatious. Attentive and friendly service. There is a 2 💶 comperti (cover charge) but with their overall low prices we had an appetizer, a glass of wine, a beer, a large Acqua, and two traditional Neopolitan dinners for $54 US (46 💶, including comperti). A very pleasant meal and I look forward to my next visit.

This place serves Michelin Star quality food at a fraction of the price. Welcoming, knowledgeable staff with incredibly good tasting food at reasonable cost. Don't hesitate.

A small but very nice modern looking restaurant that offers a separate lounge if you would like to have something to drink before dining. The service is very good, people have been polite and the food is excellent.
