Marepizza

The food here is Italian simplicity at its best, pizza and pasta to die for! The tomato sauce they use for some of the dishes is just amazing, although the same is probably true of a lot of places in this region that use good ingredients.

Unfortunately have to echo a lot of similar comments here about the unfriendly waitress, perhaps she's just hostile to non local people but either way it really detracts from what could be a perfect little restaurant. Real shame though as it costs nothing to be nice!

My wife and I ate here multiple times for lunch during our stay in Cetara and can’t recommend them enough. The pizza is fantastic and ranges from €5-€13, and easily shareable between 2 people - the Ciccia pizza (pictured below) was one of the best we’ve had in Italy! It’s right on the Main Street in Cetara and offers covered patio seating or to go as well. Definitely add this to your list for lunch or dinner if you are in Cetara!

Great little pizza place right next to the beach. Outdoor seating only. Pizza is phenomenal and cheap. They also have salad and some fish dishes. We’ve only done the pizzas and they’ve all been delicious. They also do take away, about 15 minutes for a pizza. It’s a very small, very nice family owned spot with great people.

My wife and stayed in Cetara and ended up dining at Marepizza most nights, and what can I say, this become more than just a restaurant to us - it made our trip! The food is super fresh and tasty (the pesto pizza and anchovie pasta were absoluteluy divine!) but the owners and staff made this such a special exeperience for us with their warmth and kindness.

Cecilia (the owner) and Vittorio (the moonlighting waiter :D) made us feel so welcome and we thoroughly enjoyed the time we got to spend with them over some -fantastic- wine! Could not recommend them enough!

This place is fantastic! Great pizza, even better tempura seafood. The staff is so kind and patient. Highly recommend. Would absolutely return.

We happened to be there for the end of the festival of St Francis of Assisi. The streets were full of people and the celebrations were incredible.

We had a really lovely meal in this restaurant. The pizza was delicious and very reasonably priced. The staff were helpful and friendly. It was raining and we wanted to get a taxi back to Salerno. They went out of their way to help us, even arranging a mini bus share with another family who were going the same way which ended up being much cheaper. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this restaurant.

This place is great, people putting shade and hate on the wait staff should be ashamed of themselves!
We were sitting next to the people who posted a 1 star review… they were happy with their food but so quick to pass judgement on their server and all because they made no attempt to speak Italian.. IN ITALY!!
The food was incredible, the staff were warm, courteous and treated us as if we were guests in their home.
All it took was a small attempt at speaking their language and a more positive attitude.

Best pizza we had so far on Amalfi coast. Really recommend the diavola!

A nice spot to grab a quick bite to eat. The fried seafood was amazing and drinking a beer with the locals while chowing down on some crunchy calamari was inviting.

Best pizza in Amalfi. Hands down.

Very good pizza, fried seafood, and kind staff! I ate here several times during my week stay. Although I spoke broken Italian when making reservations, they were patient and everything worked out! Grazie!

Tasty pizza and fish. You can takeaway the food.

Stopped by for some food on the way from Salerno to Positano. It had great pizza (had the sorentina special pizza) and the panini vegitariano. Very reasonably priced food.

The staff were very polite and the place has great bathrooms. Not to mention, it is very close to the parking as well.

Great place for a quick stopover with some outstanding views.
