Grotta del Trullo - Putignano

The cave is beautiful,very well preserved,clean with good air ventilation.The stuff was polite and our young guide was very kind, he explained us all the stages of the cave creation and helped our fantasy to enjoy the stalagmites sculptures!We will definitely come back for an exploration of the deeper parts of the cave.

1. The staff were very friendly. The tour guide waited and did a tour especially for us.
2. The grotto is beautiful and bigger than some of the reviews might suggest.
3. The tour guide explained clearly how such grottos are created and answered all my geological questions.

If u are in Puglia, you must visit this cave! It's so mesmerizing and was one of the first caves open to the public in Italy! The facility has a large parking space, a park, and bathrooms.
For the one who love the trill or exploring more deeply the cave with experts you can call them and book the experience in advance!!
The guides are lovely and very competent!

Thanks to the Castellana Grote closed this afternoon, I ended up here! I had the cave for myself and the tour guide gave me a private tour. I forgot her name, but she was lovely, and the information she provided was entertaining and interesting. Highly recommended!

Such an exquisite grotto, only the two of us plus Davide our guide so it felt like a private tour. He explained in excellent English, the history of the cave and how everything was formed over many many years. Prepare yourselves to be blown away by the beauty and intricacies of the cave, nature can be wonderful. Well worth the €7 per person entrance fee.

This was a really nice cave to see, the guide spoke English and Italian and he was very knowledgeable about the cave.

It’s a very very nice and small Grotta. We were only 6 people and the tour was a lot of fun and very interested. I would definitely recommend coming here! :)

What a fascinating cave tour by a very informative and kind female guide. Beautiful cave, interesting history, and not too long of a tour. It was just right. Great for families who don't want to go for a long cave walk, and yet interesting for everyone.

Quite amazing cave discovery with a well explained tour(in Italian). The group tour lasts for half hour and you are allowed to take photos without flash. Bring some good shoes and dress reasonably warm if you go during the summer. Really enjoyed it and not too long of a tour for small children.

Exquisite cave system, worthwhile visiting with the family. The tour lasts about 30 minutes and provides some interesting insights and information.

Fantastic breathtaking experience. Our guide Davide gave us a wonderful tour. This grotta maybe small but very rich and impressive. It’s a must if you are in the area.

Grotta del trullo is an amazing cave just below the surface. What a great tour! There were just the four of us. Davide took a lot of time to explain the history of grotta del trullo and showed us some amazing looking stalagmites and stalactites! Thank you for this great moment!

Awesome cave. Short tour of 30 minutes and worth it for €7.

Our tour guide was delightful. She was energetic and knowledgeable. She made sure everyone got to experience the complexity of the caves and their formations.

Smaller than Grotte di Castellana but incredibly good value for money. 5€ entry including bilingual guide. Guide was incredibly knowledgeable and accommodating, tour was very interesting and just the right length of time (30mins). Not far from Putignano town centre - we walked there in Summer.

Nice cave, good explanations in italian and english. Might be more interesting for the older ppl, my kids lost interest but i didn't. Maybe it was too slow paced for them. For me it was fine.
