Le Tre Porte - Castellina in Chianti

Food, service and atmosphere was 5 stars. I mean look at the photos. Definitely recommend and I will be back.

We had their pizza which was really good, tasty and unique. Their service was extremely good, they were super nice, and very attentive. We got to the restaurant about 20 minutes before they closed and still let us dine in. They never rushed us even though we were the only ones left and accommodated everything for us. We left extremely satisfied and happy with the service. We tried tiramisu in every town we visited and theirs was by far the best one. We also had their pana cotta that was out of this world, so creamy and a perfect combination of flavors.

A fantastic dining experience, the beauty of the surroundings complimented the food exceptionally well, set to the beautiful backdrop of Castellina in the evening. The menu consisted of authentic tuscan dishes prepared from locally sourced ingredients, of particular note were the truffle & parmesan gnocchi and the papperdelle cinghiale, paired with a fantastic red wine provided by our excellent waiter. The entire experience was first class, the food excellent and the staff extremely helpful, attentive and friendly, cannot recommend enough!

Also the service was nice. It does take a long time until you get the food after you order but in our case it was fine because we enjoyed just spending time with friends.

The guys from Le Tre Porte really made us feel welcomed from the beginning, they have great wine and delicious food. What was extraordinary is that they also serve gluten free pasta. So I recommend everyone with gluten intolerance to enjoy a lunch/dinner at their panorama restaurant.

Food exceeded our expectations. Good value for money. Friendly staff. I think the terrace outside must be beautiful, unfortunately it rained. Definitely will visit again for dinner if we go to Tuscany.

Lovely service and a beautiful terrace. We came to pick up a few pizzas for takeaway and they were all delicious and super quickly done.

When we are looking for an Italian experience, we are looking for the food and service we got here.
I loved the ravioli with pecorino, on our second dinner I ordered a double portion 😍

We have been to five Pizzeria/restaurants in Pisa/ Chianti so far and this has the best food. Very good pizza, steak and chicken dishes and nice starters/ist. Very good service, very attentive and helful waiters. The restaurant was fully booked (as with most restaurants we had to eat outside due to COVID requirements, all the good resterants get booked, but they reserved a table for 9pm in the lower courtyard, which is also atmospheric overlooking the Tuscan hills below the car park. We spent the hour waiting at the nice wine bar down the hill where the boys played pool and we had drinks. We had six very good meals and a bottle of Prosecco and then an Italian spumante, it was a sons birthday, the wine was good and reasonably priced as was the meal. Not a tourist rip off but a very nice experience.

Definitely recommend. VERY accommodating and welcoming staff. Very tasty food. Sizeable portions - we left full. Beautiful decor.

Cercavamo un locale nel Chianti dove pranzare dopo una visita in cantina. Devo dire che la scelta è stata davvero azzeccata.
Locale spazioso, luminoso ma non rumoroso.
Servizio gentile e attento, ma mai pressante.
Cibo ottimo, consiglio il gran tagliere di aperitivo da condividere e il fritto di carni bianche, davvero eccellente.
Lo gnocco nel pecorino era spettacolare da vedere e ancora meglio da mangiare.
