Fattoria Pianporcino

I know their shop in San Quirico d’Orcia and now am happy to have seen where they have the sheep, farm and make the cheeses. Enjoyed tasting the delicious pecorinos and ricottas (as well as the charcuterie, olive oil and vino). Learned some new things too. Not a bad way to spend the day making new friends.

We stopped to check out the local specialty cheese. In the shop there are other products besides cheese, but cheese is the star. We couod taste 3 types of pecorino offered by the owner. The cheese is delicious! The owner is a very funny conversation partner, open and friendly.

This was such a great place to explore and taste the local cheese. We all enjoyed learning about how the cheese is made and then an amazing spread of cheese and meats for lunch. Giuseppe, the owner, was so knowledgeable, entertaining and kind. I would highly recommend this tour and cheese tasting.

Jossepe, the manager is a uniqe personality and a true master of chesses. His drunk-chesse is incredible! Homie, personal tasting chesses. But his attitued and his understanding were the charm of this place. A pleasure and an inspiration. Find the time to viait a simple yet remarecble institute and person.

Great cheese and the owner is super personable and will sit with your group and talk for a long time. Make a stop here if you love cheese.

We LOVED it! We called in morning and they made an appointment for us at afternoon.
Very interesting tour on the dairy and great and generous tastings lunch. We got 8 types of Pecorino to taste, 3 types of ham, focaccia and olive oil, ricotta, salad, and a lot of wine.
Guiseppe is very generous and will do the refills for you. At the time it costed 25 euro, they have option to pay with cash or PayPal, great experience and service!

Incredible cheese and many interesting varieties. Great value. This makes a nice stop while exploring the countryside in Tuscany. The place is quiet and low key, real country feel. Try the cheese aged while wrapped in walnut leaves!

Luogo incantevole immerso nella riserva naturale, il podere vende formaggi di pecora prodotti da loro. Gusti delicati e decisi, ci sono per tutti i palati, al tartufo al peperoncino, quello semplice, semi stagionato, stagionato 2 anni, primo sale (cremoso al palato e buono), insomma diversi dai soliti pecorini, tutti da provare. Ottima qualità prezzo. Il titolare è una perdona gentilissima, ci ha dato degli assaggi per scegliere meglio e capire cosa preferire... Non passare da qui è davvero un peccato... provare per credere!

…ho fatto una degustazione presso questa Fattoria Pianporcino a Pienza!!…fantastica!!…la Fattoria si trova in Val d’Orcia!!…scenario spettacolare!!…ho fatto visita in questa struttura!!…qui si producono formaggi!!…tipo il pecorino di Pienza!!…il proprietario Giuseppe ci ha spiegato le varie fasi della lavorazione del formaggio!!…si perché l’Azienda Pianporcino è l’unica azienda agricola con allevamento…lavorazione e vendita diretta del famoso e unico pecorino di Pienza!!…e poi al termine abbiamo fatto una degustazione fantastica!!…con i vari tipi di formaggi di loro produzione!!…se siete in zona…non fatevi mancare questa bella esperienza alla Fattoria Pianporcino a Pienza!!…

Siamo stati in questa fattoria su consiglio di una persona della zona. E dobbiamo dire che siamo rimasti molto contenti della scelta fatta. Il propietario e stato molto gentile ci ha fatto assaggiare i suoi prodotti, li abbiamo trovati buonissimi e di alta qualità.

Vivo a Milano ma quando torno in Toscana, a CHIUSI, non manco mai di andare a fare compere di formaggi e yogourt alla rivendita di Chiusi Stazione- Io che vivo molti mesi anche in Framcia e ben conosco i buoni formaggi francesi APPREZZO ANCOR PIU i buoni percorini della fattoria Pianporcino. Il primo sale è squisito anche sulla pizza al posto della mozzarella e lo yogourt è una vera delizia. Finalmente riassaporo il gusto dei buoni prodotti genuini come quelli di una volta. Vivissimi complimenti e anche tanti cari auguri per il proseguimento del loro lavoro ai componenti di questa fantastica Fattoria
