10/10 for location, ambiance and food quality, taste. Super service and friendly waiters who accommodated our request for change of table (for a better view). Food is prepared from ingredients that are locally sourced (especially the olive oil, Pecorino and ricotta). Definitely recommend for a special day or your holiday!

Situated at the town’s gate, run by a young vibrant team , this establishment serves good food with a great wine list. The view is also amazing.

Lovely restaurant in a beautiful little Tuscan town. The town is sleepy, but beautiful and this restaurant is absolutely wonderful. The food was delicious and the service was outstanding. The staff was kind, extremely willing to help, and very efficient. On top of all of that, the view from the outside terrace is incredible! Will absolutely come back on my next trip to Tuscany!

The restaurant is well located with a beautiful view on the terrace! Traditional food with some new interpretation, the wine is excellent! I bought two bottles of Nobile di Montepulciano after my lunch, very delicate!

Friendliest place in Monticchiello. Stopped by on a rainy afternoon (open in the afternoon, maybe the only place in town that is) and they immediately set us up with a bottle of wine, great cheeses, olive oil & bread, and assorted appetizers. Everything was fantastic!

While we love Italy, there r those really special restaurants that always bring us back - La Porta is that restaurant.

The experience is just incredible - savory pastas along with the Tuscan wines as we sit overlooking the vineyards in the Tuscan sun - unforgettable!

We had the appetizer of the day - pecorino cheese on a nest with tomatoes - so creative and super yummy.

We then had the pappardelle with bolognese - and I had the coca de pepe - all amazing!

We have friends coming to join us in Italy next week - and can’t wait to bring them here!

Great place for good food a stunning view......the first restaurant when you want to get into the village, renovated inside with modern setting, very clean. Traditional plates with a modern twist, plus lots of good wines to choose from. Tried Podere il Macchioni, great suggestion by the sommelier, what a gem!

Great food with amazing view. Uses fresh seasonal local produce from around Pienza.
Pasta was a little more refined than usual trattoria standard and the secondis were well made local meats.

One of the best restaurant is at Tuscany! You never have a mistake when you order! Always crowded, make reservation!

Great food in a lovely Italian town. Creative menu. A bit pricey and portions are small, but overall well worth it.

I had a delicious juicy salmon, the pana cotta al frutti di bosco was espectacular same as the service. Congrats guys.

Very nice (quant) place close to Pienza. Sit on the terrace and pick from a great list of appetizers and pasta. Wine list is very reasonable.
