Villa Monica

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Villa Monica, Pascal and Monica made us feel very welcomed and were the warmest hosts.

Pros

- Pascal and Monica really did make you feel at home, it’s a very personal place to stay with lots of local recommendations and things to watch out for which we really appreciated.
- The shuttle service is a real bonus, taxis are outrageous in Sorrento and the roads are steep so having this included to be able to get into town and back was great, they picked us up from our coach and dropped us back to the train station too which was fab.
- Breakfast was delicious and being able to choose options everyday made it feel less repetitive. Try the lemon cake!
- The view is lovely, it’s a panoramic view of Sorrento, the sea and Vesuvius, simply stunning
- The air con was the best we had in Italy, quick and efficient and kept us cool at night
- The beds were super comfy and clean, we slept so well and it’s very quiet. There is a daily maid service too which was handy.
- We felt very comfortable as an LGBTQ couple during our stay

My wife and I stayed here for 3 days last week and it was amazing! Pascal and Monica are the best hosts ever. The breakfast every morning was fantastic and the view while eating breakfast was even better. The villa is a short drive up the mountain from the city center but Pascal offers free shuttle service to and from the city center with set times through the day. Don't stay in an expensive hotel, stay here for the best stay! Thank you Pascal and Monica, we will be coming back some day.

I will recommend Villa Monica to anybody looking to stay in Sorrento. Pascal and Monica are incredibly accomodating. It feels like you’re staying with family. Beautiful views from your bedrooms and being dropped into town each day was a beautiful touch,

I loved staying here and it was entirely because of the hosts. Very friendly, very generous and very cool people. Every conversation was a delight. The bnb is abit far from city center but they offer shuttle services anytime of the day till midnight.

Pascal is so helpful, he picked us up from the train station and from the city center. Also gave us some good suggestions on what to see and where to rent bikes and boats. I would love to stay here again.

If you are going to Sorrento this is the place to stay. Pascal and Monica are the kindest most generous people you will meet. The room was awesome, breakfast delicious and Pascal will drop you off downtown and pick you up. Fantastic place, fantastic hosts❤🇮🇹

I had a fantastic time staying at this property. The owners Pasquale and Monica are really sweet, and so helpful. The room is very spacious with a balcony overlooking the bay of Naples. There is complimentary shuttle to and from the town that runs from morning until late at night. Breakfast is included, starting at 7:30am, which was great for me since I am an early riser. I can't say enough about the hospitality, fantastic people! As a solo traveler I felt safe and welcomed, highly recommend!

We stayed a week here at Villa Monica and had a wonderful time. Pascal and Monica are so nice and helpful. Pascal gave us plenty of suggestions for us to do, from places to visit and restaurants to try. The breakfast, especially the croissants and cappuccino were so delicious. Can't say enough positive things about our stay. We would love to go back some day.

Brilliant and relaxing places, Pascal is super helpful and the free shuttle makes all the difference, you are in and out of town whenever you want and then you have a beautiful view and the peacefulness of staying up on the hill

A gem! Get your reservation in before everyone finds out about Villa Monica and there's no availability! Such a beautiful view from our room, spotlessly clean, and the warmth of our hosts was incomparable. It was nice to stay away from the town and Pascale's shuttle was the best. Villa Monica is the perfect spot to enjoy beautiful views of Sorrento. Pascal and Monica are amazing hosts and very lovely people who care about your experience in Sorrento. Great breakfast and coffee, we were able to get our laundry done through Monica, Pascal would drop you into the town each day through his shuttle service and was easily contactactable. He arranged dinner at a local restaurant and a tour to Capri. All his recommendations were perfect and made our stay in Sorrento a memorable one. I would recommend this place to everyone and will miss Pascal's humour and kindness. This has been one of our favourite places in Italy and we hope to go back one day.

This B&B is incredible. The hosts are very friendly, attentive and are a wealth of information. The free shuttle into town is very convenient. I love that I was able to enjoy the hustle and bustle of the city centre, but could retreat to the peace and quiet and spectacular views at Villa Monica. Due to COVID, breakfast is no longer served buffet style, but is made to order and waiting for you when you come down in the morning. I can't wait to go back to this place!

Serenity in Sorrento!
We just got back from an amazing trip to Italy. We absolutely fell in love with Sorrento & the Amalfi Coast. A big reason we had such a great experience was because of our hosts at Villa Monica B & B in Sorrento. It was a beautiful villa set high up in the hills above Sorrento. It was so peaceful & quiet. The breakfast each morning was fresh & delicious. Each room was charming, clean, well-appointed, & had breathtaking views. Our hosts, Pascal & Monica were so helpful, generous, & kind. They personally provided a shuttle to & from the main city area to the villa every couple of hours. This made getting to & from the villa no issue. Pascal’s warm, attentive, energetic & playful personality made each interaction delightful. He was a treasure trove of information, suggestions, & tips that were invaluable & helped ensure our trip went smoothly. He was very intuitive & knew what each guest wanted & needed and made his suggestions accordingly. We also felt the villa was very reasonably priced considering it was high tourist season & all the extras the hosts provided. We highly recommend Villa Monica for exploring Sorrento & the Amalfi Coast. We cannot wait to go back!

Excellent and Unforgettable!

This romantic villa set on a peaceful hillside is beautiful and has a charming ambience. The bedrooms feature private balconies with wonderful views of the breathtaking blue ocean. We enjoyed fabulous sunrises and sunsets on our balcony, sharing a glass of the local excellent wines.

We spent a year planning our 30th wedding anniversary trip to Italy and our vacation at Villa Monica was easily our most memorable.

Pascal and Monica, our hosts were AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING. Villa Monica is literally a few minutes from Sorrento and Pascal’s unbelievable shuttle service is like nothing I’ve ever seen. He graciously and willingly drives you in to Sorrento and in return picks you up, throughout the entire day and evening! First thing Pascal said to us is park your car here and leave it until your stay is done, WOW that was fantastic! Monica sets up a delightful breakfast located in the cozy and peaceful lounge, we love that there is also a terrace which you can choose to have your breakfast out on or simply relax.

One of the most valuable assets was Pascal’s uncompromising decisive information, whether it was providing information on a restaurant for lunch, must see places or a romantic dinner location (where they actually send a driver to pick you up and bring you back at no charge). Pascal’s guidance was priceless and dearly missed when we travelled in other parts of Italy, so much so that we would text him jokingly from Tuscany asking for a restaurant recommendation and surprisingly he would once again offer us valuable information… OUTSTANDING!

We enjoyed every FABULOUS day at Villa Monica, Pascal and Monica felt like family very quickly. As a world traveller and expert reviewer I HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend Villa Monica. We can't wait to go back!

AMAZING...Pascal and Monica are the perfect hosts, from the second you are picked up to the last goodbyes. Pascal is a wealth of information from restaurant recommendations to tourist excursions. Breakfast is continental wherein you can choose to sit outside overlooking the beautiful Sorrento. Room was big with a big balcony with amazing views. We will most definitely return.

The place is remarkable. The view is breathtaking. U just can't have enough. The host Pascal is amazing. Helps with whatever you need recommendations, help to get in and out in short amazing place. The way to it is beet tricky, but it's worth it 👌 SHAPOOOO

If you find yourself planning a trip to the Amalfi coast do yourself a favor and book your stay at Villa Monica B & B.

Villa Monica has lovely, well-furnished, comfortable and exceptionally clean rooms...but it’s the view from your room that will take your breath away. My stay was very short (3 days and 2 nights) but when I was not exploring Sorrento and other gorgeous places along the Amalfi coast, I was sitting on the balcony of my room drinking wine and savoring the view. Did I mention the VIEW!?

Villa Monica offers a very nice breakfast every morning with wonderful cappuccino! You may sit inside at the dining table or outside, weather permitting. And the refrigerator was well-stocked with drinks for a very reasonable price.

As will likely be mentioned in all the reviews of Villa Monica, the highlight of your stay will be your hosts. Pascal and Monica are lovely people that genuinely treat you like family. Pascal’s shuttle service is a lifesaver. The drop off and pickup point is very easy to find and he was always punctual. And if you have questions about dining choices or other activities, Pascal will steer you the right way! His English is excellent!

I look forward to visiting the Amalfi Coast again and when I do I will certainly book my room at Villa Monica!

Great bed and breakfast! Probably one of the best places in terms of value of money. Rooms are large and breakfast generous; fabulous views from the bedroom and breakfast area. Our host, Pascal, was absolutely lovely and had very good local recommendations. He also runs a shuttle between his place and Sorrento; very convenient considering size of the local roads (don’t hire a big car...)

Villa monica was such a lovely place to stay with picturesque views from all the rooms. Our room had everything that we needed and was incredibly spacious! It was different from the usual hotel as it felt like our home away from home as we had access to the living area which had board games and guitars to play on in the evening. There was a wide range of things to choose from at breakfast and you could either choose to sit inside or outside but why would you choose to sit inside with incredible views outside.

However, the BEST thing about our stay was host Pascal who was incredibly welcoming and friendly providing us with tips/tricks and recommendations for our stay in Sorrento. He also runs a frequent shuttle from the villa down to the square which is super handy!

Would highly recommend staying here 😄
