The most incredible weekend to celebrate our friends wedding. From the moment of arrival to the final goodbyes this venue was magical. The rooms were fantastic, food was outstanding, staff were wonderful and so accommodating. Not a single detail was missed. Truly the most spectacular venue.

We got married here in June 2024 and could not have asked for a better place. The borgo itself is stunning; carefully renovated with nice rooms, and all amenities you could wish for. Our guests were all so impressed when they arrived and very much appreciated the pool.

The wedding itself was spotlessly organized with the team at SPAO helping out wherever needed and worked seamlessly with all of our suppliers. The food and drinks, all arranged by SPAO, were truly incredible (people are still talking about the fresh mozzarella weeks after the event), and the team took fantastic care of us and our guests.

All in all, we couldn’t have had a better weekend and have only positives to say about SPAO, the only downside would be that as they only do weddings, we’d have to get married again to come back 😄

Chef Leonardo created the most delicious meals that our guests are still raving about. Each dish was a culinary masterpiece, perfectly complementing the elegance of the venue.

Stunning, beautiful place! The architecture and surrounding nature are just breathtaking. We've seen countless monarch butterflies feeding on the lavender growing all across the venue.

The Staff are all great, friendly and very professional people! The food and service was next level.

The perfect wedding location! My new husband and I got married here in April 2024 and we had the most amazing experience from start to finish. We had 40 guests in total who stayed on site at the Borgo and everyone was so impressed with the venue! We opted for a 3 night stay where we had a welcome meal for guests the evening before the wedding, the full wedding day and then a pizza party the following day. The food was spectacular and the staff were very attentive. The venue itself is also kept extremely well with perfect garden areas and clean rooms. Our wedding day was so special and we can’t think Anastasia and the team enough for making our dreams come true! Anastasia also hosted our ceremony for us and did an excellent job! We can’t wait to go back and visit the Borgo in years to come to reminisce on the best weekend ever!

We have just shared the most incredible weekend here for our friends wedding and the venue was breathtaking. The owners and all their staff were attentive to every single guest, the rooms are pristine, the food was absolutely gorgeous from breakfast to formal dinner to the bbq and everything in between and the facilities were superb. I would recommend the beautiful, unique venue to anyone.

Amazing breathtaking venue, incredible team!

Where do I start? I am speechless and still riding on a high of the wedding. Making memories is something we really care about. Spreading our love, our story, and making people around us happy was our goal for our wedding. We wanted to have intimate moments and make memories to last. That's why our vision needed the right venue.

Our wedding was fully planned in Lebanon but we had to eventually cancel it and move to another country. It was a rollercoaster of emotions. Our goal was to expose our American family to Lebanese culture and tour them the country. Since we couldn't do that we wanted to find a place that had similar culture. Italy, is a country we had never been to, and mom's favorite country. After looking at multiple countries, Paris, Cyprus, Greece and then Italy, as well as endless venues. We found SPAO Borgo San Pietro Aquaeortus. And it spoke to us. It was a beautiful venue in a national park. Kyle and I love national parks too. And being a renovated old monastery with the possibility to spend a whole weekend with our family and friends was a dream for us. We then met with Anastasia and team to decide if this was for us. It was a match, we loved Anastasia and what the venue had to offer. We were so worried since we could not go to Italy before the wedding but Anastasia put our nerves at ease and was the best wedding planner we could have asked for.

Anastasia is super organized, on top of it and planning and was awesome to communicate with. Anastasia made our dream come true and helped with all vendors and language barriers.

We couldn't be happier having worked with Anastasia and team. Food was also a big deal for us, we are big foodies and wanted the best food at our wedding. Leonardo and team shined!!! The food was the best we've ever had at a wedding. Leonardo was present at all events from start to finish. He accommodated all guests needs. Leonardo brought our dream culinary experience to life! Our wedding cake was the best I've ever had, I still want another piece. Guests wiped all the food ❤

Anastasia and team made us feel like we were home. Stefano and Anastasia took us on a morning walk, we loved hearing the history and value of this monastery and elementary school and national park. We felt home, even their kids welcomed us and played with us and their beautiful daughter Claudia fixed my dress all day and brought tears of joy to my heart.

Our guests all commented that all the people at the venue and all the vendors were very welcoming and made them feel home. Anastasia and team made me feel like I'm at home with family, they fed us, they joked with, they cheered with us, they got blankets to people that were cold, they worked with us every scenario if it rained, they made us feel like they are hosting us in our home. I am beyond grateful and feel like I made friends for life and am sure Anastasia and Stefano and their beautiful daughters will be part of our lives. You are always welcome in our home! My American husband and his entire family felt like they were very welcomed! Our guests shared that they never saw such an awesome team and felt very welcomed and at peace in this amazing piece of heaven on earth. The gift of memories and telling our story and having a dream romantic weekend with our loved ones is what you gave us. You helped us plan around all weather conditions and went above and beyond to plan for four days to make sure we had memorable time despite the weather constant changes. It was going to rain on our outdoors wedding day and Anastasia and team worked all scenarios and possibilities to make sure we had the wedding of our dreams.

From the moment I traveled from London to Italy and met Anastasia, I knew Spao was the perfect place for us. During our next visit, we enjoyed an exquisite tasting menu for the wedding, sampling Leonardo's exceptional cuisine paired with perfectly matched wines.

The three days we spent at Spao for our wedding weekend were nothing short of magical. From the lively pizza party night to the beautiful wedding ceremony and the fun-filled pool party, everything was amazing. The venue and its team were flawless.

We recently had the pleasure of experiencing a wedding at Spao, and it was nothing short of extraordinary. Nestled in a beautiful brick building with a charming courtyard, Spao offers a picturesque setting that is even more stunning in person than the website suggests.

While the website provides some information, it doesn't fully capture the beauty of the venue. A better video showcasing the lovely brick architecture and serene courtyard would do more justice to this wonderful place.

The staff at Spao were highly professional, ensuring that everything ran smoothly. The rooms were tidy and well-maintained, adding to the overall comfort and elegance of the event, just a few more mirrors required in the rooms, if possible!

Moreover, the family who owns and operates the venue were incredibly welcoming, making us feel right at home.

In conclusion, Spao is an amazing venue for a wedding, combining exceptional food, professional service, and a breathtaking setting. If you’re considering a wedding in Italy, Spao should be at the top of your list.

A dream place. Situated in one of the most beautiful landscapes of Western Umbria, San Pietro in Aquaeortus makes you feel out of the hussle of civilizatione. The old monastery, the forests, the sound of the water, a magnificent sunrise. On the other hand luxury, beautiful apartments, a wonderful swimmingpool, selected chefs and you might also experience a very special evening in the wine bar.
