Here they know how to deal with groups and the 26 of us were divided up onto 3 tables. The service was excellent and friendly.
We started with an antipasto misto followed by tagliatelli with mushrooms and a stew of wild boar. The food was really good.

What a wonderful place to eat dinner. Friendly service, great outdoor seating and delicious food. Quiet and intimate.

While walking around Orvieto we came upon this trattoria. The service, food and wine were excellent. Great prices. Highly recommend.

Very good experience - we found a table for 4 without reservation. The staff was very friendly and the food really good; the restaurant is placed in a small piazzale near Torre del Moro and has been in the same family since 1948. We had the rigatoni carbonara, tagliatelle ai funghi porcini and the parmigiana di melanzane - all delicious, very well prepared and served on time. And for dessert a tartufo nero - that was excellent!!

Fantastic, people! If you come to Orvieto Italy you should come to this restaurant for sure! We shared (so prices might be doubled for 2 dishes) the Amatriciana pasta and wilted Chicory. We added parmesan cheese in the picture. It was fantastic! Paired it with a bottle of Tizzonero, red wine from Umbria. You should definitely try it out! Come and "mangiare"!

My wife was a little cranky before coming in but after having a truffle pasta she almost smiled at me. Really made out time in italy more manageable. I had the sirloin which was good. Good vibe. Get the house wine. The truffle is actually good & fresh.

Delicious local food served by nice people. Rigatoni alla carbonara are a must, and the Tiramisu was also top tier. Recommended for a quiet and confy lunch.

Awesome experience. They squeezed us in after a busy jazz concert..and were fast and courteous with food and service. Unbelievably good food; what a treat. My rigatoni carbonara was out of this world. Owner is pictured here; very friendly and welcoming. We will return!!!

My uncle and I ate here this evening after exploring Orvieto for the day. After reading about the local cuisine, we knew we wanted to try wild boar and truffles, and found them on the menu at this beautiful restaurant down a side street with a gorgeous outdoor seating area. We opted for the truffle bruschetta, the papardelle with wild boar white sauce (not creamy, just with plain oil rather than tomato), and the wild boar stew. All were amazing, as was the sautéed chicory we ordered to get our veggies in. The truffle presentation was a treat, as they grated it onto the bruschetta at the table, which really highlighted the aroma. The house wine was a nice Sangiovese, and we had some tiramisu and Amari to cap everything off. Really a wonderful meal and lovely atmosphere - I would recommend Antico Bucchero to anyone looking for a great dining experience just far enough from the busiest streets to relax and be out of the bustle.

Great spot for a quiet lunch in Orvieto, located in a nice street just outside the busy center. Good and simple pasta dishes that go perfectly with a glass of wine

It's very authentic Italian the venue is a family owned and the pasta were homemade and the flavor is on top! Should try the Mushroom Pasta the best ever!!! MAMA MIA!!!

Very good food. Especially the wild pork from the forest is very tasty and famous for this area.

An amazing little find just off the back streets of Orvieto. We were treated to local wild Boar Ragu and a summer pasta dish. Half a litre of white wine. The desserts were delicious, both the Panna cotta ( with the perfect amount of wobble) and the semi- freddo were perfect. Locals come here both for a quick bite or to celebrate occasions. In fact we saw both during our meal. The staff are friendly and the service quick and cordial.
