We had an excellent meal at Il Giardino! The pastas were plentiful and flavorful and the braised fennel was so simple but so good. The service was wonderful and the patio was perfect for a warm Orvieto evening. I look forward to returning on our next trip to Orvieto.

Everything is homemade and fresh, tartar was beyond our expectations. Very friendly stuff.

The starter "Pozzo degli Etruschi" is something more than delicious. Great raw ingredients, wisely mixed.
Main courses, pasta at first, are superlative. A step down the meat (tagliata), but guys what's the pasta ... Optimally cooked, well hand-preparation, magistral and histrionic sauces and flavors. Oh my God! Super!
Desserts very good and a very good quality coffee.
5 stars for starters, 7 pasta, 3.5 meat, 5+ dessert.

Very recommended! The food is delicious (we ate the crustini e truffle, steak and hare ragu). The staff is super friendly. The kitchen "crew" are the parents of one of the waiters, so it's kind of a family business. Open only 4 hours a day, this place is a must have for lunch.

We had a great dinner here. I would make reservations before going. The food was truly great. The owner, Giovanni waited on us... we didn't have a reservation but got in anyway.
Gio rolled his eyes as we ordered but we know he was a bit overloaded due to staff shortages. He understood how we wanted to order and provided us with a great meal, incredibly attentive service and a smile until we were the last to leave his restaurant. His Mom and Dad were the chefs this night...

Great staff that works hard to give a good experience. The food is really good and the wine is excellent.

The service was excellent, food surperb (best desserts so far in Italy), and the prices were very reasonable. And they took us without a reservation! My friend has many food allergies, and they prepared a special meal just for her!

We were advised that this is one of the Slow food movement restaurants that only use ingents that are in reason. We were not disappointed! The food was really good! They also have organic orange wines without sulfate.

We really enjoyed our visit there and highly recommended it. They have menu in English too.
