I Sette Consoli

Dining at I Sette Consoli was an enchanting experience, marked by the delicate and elegant presentation of each dish. The service was gentle and attentive, complementing the exceptional quality of the food. Although the cheese course left me slightly disappointed due to personal taste preferences, the overall culinary journey was outstanding.

This was my 3rd time here and each time was fantastic. The service was very professional and polite. The food was perfectly prepared and interesting. The prices were very reasonable for the quality of food and service. I expect to eat here many more times in the future. Thanks for a lovely afternoon.

One of the Michelin restaurants in Orvieto. If you want a food experience, eat here. The food is excellent. The staff is friendly and respectful. Kids were welcomed. Everything flows, even with all tables full.

Keeping in mind that this is a Michelin quality experience, the stars were the starters of red shrimp carpaccio and duck foie gras on toast and the desserts of chocolate/chili mousse and hot and cold crème brûlée served in the same bowl. All dishes were excellent.

We will eat here again next time we’re in Orvieto.

What a great restaurant. Amazing service by welcoming, well trained and hospitable staff. We opted for the tasting menu which is a MUST. It is full of surprising dishes you won't find in any other place in town. Our highlight was definitely the wine list that contains beautiful gems for every budget. Be smart and pick something unique from the extensive list!

We passed a very pleasant Easter lunch with their classic Easter menu. First class service and food. Plates were well thought out, presented nicely and tasted amazing. Wine pairings were spot on.

A+. Honestly one of the best meals ever. Beautiful food, uncomplicated service, really special person working this kitchen. Pasta was outstanding, Salumi plate best ever, dessert gorgeous.

Very happy with the choice of the degustation menu. Amuse bouche, antipasti (the soft egg), pasta - spaghettoni and tortelli and secundo - scamone di vitello - DELICIOUS! Regarding the deserts, presentation was classy, however the taste not impressive. Very good gastronomic experience in a very nice, romantic garden

Excellent fine dinning without pretentious. Our meal was master chef quality cooked by the owner who learned from her mother who learned from her mother, etc.. Picture perfect presentation. Staff - daughters were very friendly and informative. Definitely would come here again.

Wonderful lunch in the secluded garden.
I had the Fagottini di germano e foie gras, salsa di Parmigiano and the Controfiletto di cervo, polentina morbida e funghi Galletti, both delicious! The wines by the glass were excelent, and do not miss a Grappa, from a large selection, with the regional cheese plate. Thank you Anna and Mauro.

I Sette Consoli was 1 of 3 restaurants we as a family booked prior to our visit to Orvieto (marked as a special evening).
From the outside there is only a small doorway entrance which leads through the dining room onto the garden terrace which was were we eat.
Lovely atmosphere to go with a wonderful meal.
We chose the tasting menu which is excellent value, beautifully presented and delicious could not fault any course.
Wine list is on another level it could take you 30 just to go through the white wines.
Price range is very good from €20 upwards with wines also by the glass.
Service is very relaxed once the first dish arrives everything is spot on with no rushing.
We will return again to sample the a la carte as there are some lovely sounding dishes.

An absolutely brilliant experience this evening, Monday the 18th of September 2023. Every dish was an absolute triumph of flavour and presentation. We ate the rabbit and lamb dishes for main courses. Atmosphere of the interior is calm and restful without being constrained. The service and attention from all the people running this restaurant is second to none. We wish we had found “I Sette Consoli” on our first day in Orvieto, we would not then have had to waste time and effort looking elsewhere.

Best meal we had in Orvieto! Great service, wines by the glass, and patio setting.

Came for the food but we taken by the service and garden environment. We had the tasting menu and were impressed with 3/6 of the dishes and the others were also good. The service was the very best.

Fantastic food. Sophisticated preparation of local fare with outstanding service. The octopus appetizer was amazing. Main courses of Rack of lamb and pigeon were spectacular. Pistachio dessert was also great. This is worth a detour and is much better than the tourist trattorias around.

Without question the best restaurant in Italy and perhaps all of Europe. The attention to detail from the moment you pass through the door until you are on your way home. The food and service were amazing
