My husband and I had a wonderful experience here! We found this restaurant via Instagram and I’m so glad we did. We dined here after having a horrible experience at another restaurant, and they saved our night!

The staff was so kind, the food was tasty, and the atmosphere was charming.

We ordered the lemon cream ravioli, and the tomahawk steak special, and a bottle of wine. The lemon surprise cake was very light and very tasty. We left with our stomachs and hearts full. This was also one of the best wines we had while traveling.

10/10 would recommend.

An incredible experience with unique and special table service, fire cooked dishes, lemon and citrus inspired desserts. With a bright atmosphere set in the garden, under the lemon trees, dinner at La Limonaia feels like tea time with Alice in Wonderland. Order all of the desserts!

We absolutely loved this restaurant! It was our favorite dinner of the trip, so much so we booked a dinner for our last night here. The lemon cream sauce with the ravioli was to die for, the grilled mozzarella in the lemon leaf was such a pleasant unique taste, and the pasta itself was so good! You also couldn’t beat the ambiance. So romantic and cute being surrounded by twinkle lights and lemon trees. We also felt the price was incredibly reasonable for the amount of food we ordered (appetizer, two first courses, two second courses, two deserts, two drinks, two cappuccinos). We spent 120 euros. We definitely can’t get away with a meal that nice back home!

Easily the top dinner of our trip, will be a memory we will cherish forever! Walking in the restaurant is magical as you stroll through the lemon groves that supply the restaurant, it is the cutest atmosphere ever, a great vibe. The food is delicious, we had the lemon ravioli and the lemon chicken, the ravioli was so flavourful and fresh, and the chicken was so tender it melted in our mouths, would recommend both! Our waiter was the kindest man, he clearly loves what he does and went out of his way to make it a memorable evening for us. A sorrento gem that the tourists havent found yet but that deserves all the love in the world, you will not regret going, way better than anywhere else. Will absolutely be coming back on my next trip!

Absolutely amazing experience, service and food. Table side prawns were excellent, orange and walnut gnocchi, tiramisu, limoncello spritzers and warm white chocolate cake filled with warm citrus we’re all amazing. Highly recommend!

Unexpected delight. Queue for La Trattoria was over an hour long so we walked 5 mins round the corner and stumbled across La Limonaia - so glad we did! Beautiful spot amidst a lemon grove with delicious food and wonderful service. Loved this place...a hidden gem. And the pièce de résistance was the prawns being cooked in Grand Marnier at the table!

P.s. Could definitely do with a sign on the road above saying "Dinner served from 1900hrs" or something as we thought it was just a lunch and cooking classes place when we first walked past.

Here in April which we were told was the perfect time to see all the lemons and oranges. This place has very friendly and amazing staff. The day we went, it was sunny in the morning but started getting cold and was raining after lunch. During that time they accomodated us in every way-- they opened the heaters near our table and gave us blankets to get even warmer. The food has very subtle and sweet flavors of lemon so if you like strong flavors and salty food this is not for you. We DEVOURED EVERYTHING IN A FLASH. SO GOOD!!

1.) THEY'RE LIMONCELLO SPRITZ IS THE SMOOTHEST WE'VE HAD IN ITALY JUST VERY SLIGHTLY SWEET AND FRAGRANT.

2.) They're lemon ravioli was very subtle. I loved it.. just a hint of fragrance and lemon went well with the cheese ravioli.

3.) Mussel pasta was delicious-- again subtle delicious. The mussel flavor went so well with the lemon and that broth we ate it with bread when we finished the pasta

4.) Baked seafood with grilled vegetable was so good. The shrimp was sweet baked in lemon leaves

5.) Lemon tour and tasting was also delicious unfortunately the rain was out of control when our tour was supposed to start so we could not tour the garden. It was beautiful from what we saw in the morning

If you love touches of sweetness and lemons this place is a must. Delicious food and accomodating people.

Perfect garden setting for an enjoyable meal with friends and family. The restaurant is a little bit outside of the main streets but we’ll worth the walk. Tables are set underneath the trees and the staff does a wonderful job of making you feel at home. Fresh catch is offered with pasta that is deboned table side. Be sure to try the crepe Suzette that is prepared table side with a tasty full flavored limoncello to finish the meal.

The best part was the service, friendly and professional without being overbearing. I had the steak which could have been a bit more rare followed by the lemon surprise. A loud American group of students really took from the atmosphere but all in all a great dinner.

Loved loved loved our dinner here! A very romantic and sweet atmosphere, the servers were all kind and helpful, recommended wonderful dishes. we had their lemon spritz specialty, lemon cake, the ravioli (INCREDIBLE), eggplant parmigiana (DELICIOUS), and the risotto (quite good! Hearty :)). Can’t recommend this idyllic restaurant in Sorrento more. We hope to be back soon!

Incredible atmosphere! I saw this on Instagram from Kacie’s page and I’m so glad I went! The food is lemon everything and incredible. We would have loved to hear music during dinner but other than that the ambiance was amazing. A restaurant in the middle of a lemon farm in a city! Amazing! Will return one day I hope!

We had today an amazing dinner here tonight. The place is a little hidden in a huge lemon garden. Therefore it's very nice and quiet. The waiter was very friendly and took some time to chat with us. The food was very good. We had the grilled mozzarella in lemon leaves and the lemon Tortellini. Both were really good. All in all a place I can just recommend.

We can truly recommend this amazing restaurant for its food, ambiente and service. From dishes made directly from fruits and vegetables out of the garden you are sitting in to a relaxing atmosphere of the orange and citrus trees which provide shelter from the heat and noise - this really is a hidden gem. Additional stories about Sorrento and citruses from Orlando just added to this amazing place.

Please be sure to visit and enjoy!

We had the best meal of our trip to Sorrento in this gorgeous restaurant. The service was impeccable and the dishes were homemade and very high quality. You could tell all of the ingredients were fresh and local. We can't wait to come back and try out some other dishes on the menu!

Great food and service. Would definitely return. Lemon chicken, lemon ravoli and gnocchi with orange and walnuts were excellent, so are the homemade marmalades.

We did the lemon grove tour plus lunch afterwards. Nice staff and service and beautiful setting right in Sorrento - close to the town center. We enjoyed walking around the organic lemon and orange grove and learning more about the history and techniques involved in growing lemons in Sorrento. For lunch they served us a variety of vegetable and cheese appetizers that were all very fresh and the main entree was the lemon creme ravioli which was excellent. The lemon sorbetto for dessert was extremely tasty (I don’t normally like lemon desserts but I ate ALL of it!) Their limoncello is very zesty and not too sweet. Admittedly,. It was a LOT of Lemon, but you can always order off their a la carte menu if you want more variety. We enjoyed sitting in the restaurant, set on the edge of their lemon grove. Compared to some of the tourist trap mediocre and overpriced meals we had in downtown Sorrento, I would be excited to try more of their menu if I weren’t leaving tomorrow. This place deserves more business.

I almost never leave restaurant reviews, but this place was absolutely delicious. Everyone in the group loved everything. I ordered the linguine with muscles as my entrée and tiramisu for dessert. One of my favorite meals I’ve ever had. 10/10 recommend

My brother and I visited Sorrento on Friday, September 23 while staying in Ercolano. We booked the tour of La Limonaia's lemon and orange grove through Get Your Guide. Absolutely one of the best tours we had in Italy.

Learned a ton from the guide about tree-grafting and how lemons and oranges come to be: ain't as easy as planting a seed!

The marmalade and honey tasting afterwards was so fun and tasty, with bread and cheese, that we decided to have an early dinner on the premises, after which we were served our ice-cold limoncello.

The food, grown on site, was incredibly tasty, and the limoncello was the best I have ever had--and I've had a lot. We bought jars of marmalade and honey to bring back as gifts, and I bought a bottle of limoncello that I sipped for the next week as I traveled Italy.

If you visit Sorrento book the tour and plan a meal.
