Domus Plinii - Lake Como

Thank you for such a memorable weekend, the staff were so hospitable and always went above and beyond to ensure we enjoyed our stay. The rooms were beautifully furnished and beds plush and comfortable. We stayed in the junior suite which had ample space complimented by views of the lake and lots of natural sunlight. The hotel's curated grounds and gardens meant that we were able to enjoy the sounds of birds and nature - it had a truly tranquil feel. Included breakfast was just divine with lots of fresh options. We wish we stayed longer and can't wait to return - thank you again for hosting us!

We had an amazing experience at the Domus Plani. We stayed in a 2 bedroom suite with a stunning view of Lake Como from our salon. The team was highly responsive and consultative. We delayed booking excursions in advance of our trip as we were not sure about the weather. Francesca and Clare were most helpful in arranging a boat trip, dinners and village tours. We will definitely be back!

The staff at Domus Plinii are unforgettable! They were so helpful to make our stay incredible! It was our first stop on our honeymoon around Italy and they will be hard to beat! Francesca and Claire went above and beyond! The location is somewhat secluded so transportation takes some arranging but the front desk was beyond accommodating!

We stayed in the family suite and it was very nice, had our own balcony and the afternoon sun was there, perfect for an apperatif. There is a boat rental by the lake just in front of the hotel and we rented our own for two hours. Best breakfast on our trip, needless to say it has been like a dream.

Domus Plinii is a hidden gem. Located in the small and quiet village of Faggeto Lario, the hotel sits directly across from the water, separated only be the small road that brings you into the village. The hotel rooms are well spaced, in funky decor and the grounds are small but absolutely beautiful. The seating area for breakfast and meals served by D Lounge are stunning, under the foliage of old-world trees and with views across the lake. The staff are all exceptionally friendly and helpful (shoutouts to Luca, Jada and Greta) with Luca even giving us a ride into Como in his own time when we were trying to figure out transport. Faggeto Lario is a quite place with only two restaurants, including the D Lounge at Domus Plinii and there are no stores of any sort, so expect to journey to Como or another of the villages along the lake for anything. Ferry services are cheap but finish early in the day (around 5-6pm) with buses, some taxis and water taxis your only option if you don’t have a car. Overall, the perfect spot to get away from the hustle and bustle of the more tourist-focused areas around the lake. Highly recommend Domus Plinii!

My partner and I had a wonderful experience at this location. A wonderful and well furnished villa with a beautiful view on the Lake. The staff were super friendly and helpful.

From the moment we arrived the welcome that we received from the General Manager Angela, and the rest of the team was outstanding. Clear instructions were given regarding the car parking and the check-in procedure. The rooms were extremely spacious, recently renovated to a high standard and well positioned just opposite the lake. In addition to the hotel, there was an amazing water activities operation 10 metres from the entrance of the hotel. We had the pleasure of going out with the entire family (two adults & two young daughters) on the master-craft boat wakeboarding on the lake which we all attempted under the supervision of Sara and Nico. What a positively memorable experience and stay that we had at Domus Plinii Hotel, we will certainly be returning in the very near future. Our thanks and appreciation to all the staff for making our stay such a delightful one.

Beautiful location, with private access to the lake and also dedicated swimming pool - even better than what the website pictures show. The decor in the rooms is very sophisticated, the staff is extremely nice and helpful, the overall experience was great! Highly recommend it

We loved our stay at Domus Plinii. Excellent service, lakefront location, and space with a reasonable high season price. The kitchen and living space was huge and great to have to during our stay to cook and relax when the weather wasn’t ideal. The light breakfast was ideal for the price. The proximity to water sports and boat rentals is great, and the hotel offers transfer service. Perfect secluded location, away from the more touristy, populated areas of Lake Como

Unique boutique place around como. Great location, good for sunset. Comfortable, clean, beautiful rooms and very friendly and helpfull staff. In front is the waterexperience center for SUP, wakeboard etc. They arranged a dinner by boat for us, just great. Top place !

Cudowne miejsce nad samym jeziorem, obłędne widoki zarówno z pokoju jak i z basenu. Wszystko pięknie zadbane. Pokoje bardzo czyste i pięknie urządzone. Pyszne jedzenie w restauracji D’lounge oraz śniadania ze świeżymi owocami i pyszną kawą 🥰 wspaniała i pomocna obsługa - bardzo dziękujemy !!! Do zobaczenia!
