Trattoria La Rocca

So we accidentally found this place and it was literally the best food we had in Sicily. We were 5 adults, so we ordered a mix of antipasti (not all of them are shown in the picture - they brought us 3 more plates!). Antipasti was a lot of different cheeses and meat, bread, and many other local foods - by the way we ordered anti pasti enough for 3 people but all 5 of us were full after that!

We also ordered different pasta dishes in advance, and even though we were full already - it was so good that we ate most of it and actually took the rest of the food with us.

We also got 6 beers and 2 sodas and literally paid 105€ for everything which was unbelievable - it makes 21€ per person for drinks, heavy amount of antipasti and main pasta dish for each

They also have a cute dog, a few donkeys and an alpaca 😊

Beautiful gem in the middle of nowhere. We had the pleasure of stopping by and having coffee when seeing the llama and donkeys in the area on the opposite side of the street. For sure will come again when visiting Sicily!

Super little hideaway on a mountain surrounded by forest. Lovely food at super prices. Great service and friendly owner. Relaxed and cosy atmosphere.

Some of the best food I have had in Sicily!!! And the staff was so nice!!!

The food was worth the drive. This is one hidden jem, located in one of the highest town in Sicily. The drive is a scenic route with lots of hairpin turns. At the end of your 7 course meal only for € 31. A little hike behind the restaurant there is a natural rock formation that reminds me of the Potato Chip formation in San Diego.

Outstanding, awesome, incredible ... Great local ingredients, beauty of nature, very tasty , full of flavour !

Went there 4times with family and italian friends. Local food salami, ricotta al forno, olives.etc... pasta ... Bbq pork & meat. Good price good food.
