Casa Imbastita

We stayed at Casa Imbastita early august 2023. We are a family of 15 …. Grandparents/ 4 kids with partners and 5 gchildren ( ages 12 to 3 ) we had an amazing stay and would highly recommend Casa Imbastita! It allows people space and privacy whilst giving great communal areas. Pool area was great with lots of space for sun and shade. Katjuscia provided support with booking of restaurants etc and was always prompt in her replies. The guys who came daily to clean pool/ dispense with rubbish bins etc were very pleasant and polite. And Denis was informative prior to booking and helped us with layout of villa/ units , who should sleep where etc. He also arranged airport transfers for one of our families. I would not hesitate in recommending Casa Imbastita , but as Denis does advise, having cars assists with getting in and out of Scicli ( it’s a steep hill!!)

We have just returned from two weeks in Villa Palmento. From the moment we made the enquiry with Denis the whole experience has been amazing.

We have rented holiday homes all around the world for over 30 years and the customer service delivered by Denis and his team was the best we ever experienced.

Everything in the Villa was perfect. All the furniture and appliances are new. The bedrooms are perfect as are the 3 bathrooms .

The garden , terraces and pool are all out of this world and perfectly maintained .

It is a heavenly place , 10/15 mins drive to beaches that go on forever and I visited a different one most mornings.

The beautiful town of Scicli is less than 10 mins drive away with it’s wonderful buildings and plenty of amazing restaurants to suit all tastes. The location of the Villa is ideal for visiting many of the sites in Sicily and we visited Taormina , Ragusa, Noto, Syracuse and Punta Secca ( little gem to visit at sunset).

We enjoyed our trips . But were more than happy to spend the days sitting by the pool during the day and chilling on the terraces in the evenings.
The food in the area is amazing and I recommend everyone to avail of the Sicilian welcome meal which can be delivered to the Villa .
Denis and his team could not have been more helpful. There were some minor technical glitches that occurred during our stay and Denis immediately responded to resolve them in a professional and courteous manner. He even paid for dinner for us in an amazing restaurant Pinsere in Scicli as a gesture which was totally unnecessary but really enjoyable .

I recommend trying as many of the local Scicili restaurants as you can . We took the recommendations from Denis and they were all perfect .

Denis went above and beyond to help make our vacation the best it could be . He even sourced the best bus for my brother to travel to Catania airport from Scicli.
The little cafes in Sampieri and Cave D’Aglia are perfect for morning coffee , granita and a brioche . You will be dining with the locals who are the friendliest people we have ever met .

Everyone we met during our visit in Sicily were friendly and while very few people spoke English they all made an effort to accommodate us.

I would love to keep Villa Palmento a secret but it would not be fair. Denis and his team have put a huge effort into the villas and we can’t wait to return .

Thank you to Denis and the team. You have created something special which visitors are going to love .

Fantastic villa, great local town. Large family group had a blast. Manager/team were brilliant - communicative, helpful etc. great holiday.

Che dire di Casa Imbastita... Un luogo dove si trova oltre ad un cibo di ottima qualità che nemmeno al ristorante ho trovato, soprattutto il trattamento del titolare Denis che oltre ad essere molto bravo nel suo lavoro ed efficace, entra subito in sintonia con i bisogni del cliente... Un luogo che ti spinge a ritornare oltre a trovare grande professionalità... Consigliatissimo e soprattutto un ambiente rilassante.

Abbiamo soggiornato a Villa Fornace una settimana a luglio. Personale estremamente cordiale e disponibile. Villa bellissima con ampi spazi sia interni che esterni, arredamento molto curato e funzionale. Pulizia al top. Un ringraziamemento particolare a Denis, Graziano e signora, sempre disponibili e gentili. Siamo stati benissimo!

Posto accogliente, rilassante, personale affabile, consigliato

Le Villette (il diminutivo lo usa lo Staff ma non rende merito) di Casa Imbastita sono situate su un poggio a veri 5 minuti da Scicli e a 15/20 minuti dal mare, in posizione strategica sia per quanto riguarda il panorama circostante, che per la temperatura perché c'è sempre un poco di ventilazione molto piacevole e con 2 piscine fantastiche. Come zona di vacanza direi ottima perché abbastanza velocemente sono raggiungibili diverse città più conosciute quali Modica, Noto e così via.
La strada bianca di ingresso è un po scomoda come accesso e ti fa dire "ma dove sono capitata?" ma poi si apre il cancello di un miniEden. Tutto l'ambiente, interno ed esterno, è molto curato. La sistemazione è in "Casa Vacanze" quindi le Villette sono attrezzate con cucina ed accessori cucina, un primo kit (spugna e detersivo per piatti), linea cortesia nel bagno e camere con lenzuola, asciugamani e teli piscina, in modo poi da potersi organizzare. Lo staff è molto cordiale e disponibile a risolvere ogni tipo di problema, a consigliare luoghi da visitare, piuttosto che ristoranti, spiagge etc etc. Fa sempre parte della proprietà un edificio con qualche camera e ambienti adatti per meeting o formazione. Su una collinetta vicinissima al nucleo centrale c'è un'altra parte di struttura chiamata Torre Saracena, anch'essa dotata di 3 piscine. Si percepisce chiaramente la volontà e la passione che hanno messo nel creare qualcosa di veramente bello esteticamente e utile per sviluppare e migliorare una zona conosciuta grazie al Commissario Montalbano ma che in realtà è ricchissima di storia e tradizioni. Scicli è una scoperta sotto tutti i punti di vista: la gente è gentile, si mangia e si beve bene, ci sono edifici storici importanti e c'è tanta arte ancora da scoprire. Montalbano è stato un trampolino di lancio e la gente, soprattutto i tanti giovani motivati che ho incontrato, stanno giustamente sfruttando per sviluppare e riportare agli antichi ma visibili fasti questa bellissima parte di Sicilia. Grazie Daniele, grazie Guglielmo e grazie Rosa. Mi dispiace per voi ma tornerò sicuramente e continuerò a tempestarvi di domande! 😊

Un posto unico nel suo genere, per chi visita questi territori, a casa Imbastita si può trovare la vera essenza del territorio siciliano. Tutto è curato nei minimi dettagli, per vivere una bellissima esperienza.

Luogo elegante e raffinato, adatto per vacanze leisure & Business, ma anche per convention aziendali e attività di formazione e consulenza. Massima professionalità sia nelle attività ricettive che in quelle formative.

Bellissima punto strategico veduta stupenda su Scicli (la vulgata di Montalbano anche lì sono state girate alcune scene del film)
