We absolutely loved this place! Such a great gem in Scicli! Great atmosphere and location, very picturesque. Excellent service! (Shout out to Nicola and Sofia) and truly delicious food (especially loved the seared octopus and the pistachio cream pasta with shrimp was amazing!!!). One of our favorite meals on the trip!

Had a wonderful lunch here — the service was fabulous and the food was scrumptious. The tuna tartare tasted as though it had higher quality tuna than most others I’ve had in Sicily. But the real star of the show is their bread — amazing rolls that are slightly crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside. A bit expensive for an everyday meal but worth it!

.An absolute "must visit". If you love fish and are in Scicli then go here. The pasta, the fresh fish and the wine are perfect. Locally sourced food, lovely setting. We enjoyed our meal so much, that we went back the next night. Luis, is fantastic (thanks man), and the rest of the staff make the experience.

Great gem in the center of Scicli. The staff was courteous and awesome, they were really professional and always there when needed. The restaurant itself was well simply decorated, even used some local art at the entrance, soft Italian classic music filled the background, creating an amazing atmosphere. The food was outstanding, our party of 4 decided to order 4 different dishes, we shared them and we agree that all of them were amazing!!! We even decided to go for dessert, we tried all 3 available, and did not disappoint at all!! Definitely a must in Scicli, and congratulations to the owner to run this little gem in such an amazing way.

Wonderful fish restaurant tucked away in Scicli. We had a delicious swordfish involtini dish with cheese fondue and an interesting minerally red wine recommended by our knowledgable and friendly waiter Luis. I was tempted into having a desert which turned out to be the star of the meal for me! I rarely have desert but this finger of sponge cake coloured with squid ink and with intense chocolate was absolutely amazing. Totally recommend this place

Buonissimo e delizioso, servizio gentile, il tavoli all'esterno accanto alla porta laterale c'ha delle mosche irritevoli ma per il resto davvero buono.
Abbiamo ordinato una protezione di linguine con vongole e asparagi marini, tonno scottato con tzatziki.

Great and Delicious!
Everything was great, the staff friendly and willing to explain everything that you might want as well extremely willing to be helpful in case of allergies.
Food: outstanding. Extremely fresh seafood, food is traditional with a twist and creative without overdoing it.
Location: great views of the baroque palace as well admits the lovely alleys.
Price: more than adequate.

what an amazing place! best food ! grilled octopus with ricotta is something WOW! Pasta with pistachio and shrimps was just mouthwatering. highly recommended! wonderful staff and music is creating perfect atmosphere 👌

We had a fabulous meal here, if you are in the area give it a visit you will not regret it. Fabulous time to be had.

Perfect dinner in sicily

Perfection! Couldn’t recommend this stunning fish restaurant enough. We enjoyed our evening so much, we went straight back again the night after. The raw seafood plate was incredible, the freshest and most delicious seafood Scicli has to offer. The bucatini was also incredible. Luis’ hospitality was spot on, selecting beautiful local wines that paired perfectly with our meal. This place is a must if you are a seafood lover visiting Scicli! Grazie mille Baqqalà!

Excellent restaurant. Wonderful atmosphere. Limited choice but the food is outstanding. Wine list is great. I would give more space to the sicilian wines (BTW who drinks German white wines here?). Thanks a lot for the great experience.

This is a lovely Restaurant with excellent fish dishes. Our waiter Luis was very kind and explained us all courses in detail. We also has à wonderful chardonnay from the Region…we can fully recommend it

Shhh! Hidden, out of the way place with unsurpassed food and service. Return meal was just as spectacular as my first meal. Perfecto! A town as beautiful as Scicli has an equally stellar and stunningly unsurpassed eatery. Run...don't walk to Baqqala.

During my 10 day giro di Sicilia this is where I had the best dinner. Definitely worth trying the tuna ragu and the tuna steak

Incredible food! One of our favourite meals in Sicily. It’s a real gem in Scicli, great vibe in the patio, such fresh seafood, and we loved the pasta (bottarga di tonno, nero di seppia). Definitely worth detouring to Scicli for, and then go up the hill to explore the abandoned churches!
