Osteria Donna Luisa

A nice place with good food and efficient service. We had a small lunch: zuppa di cozze and vegetable arancino. The zuppa di cozze was delicious and sumptuous. The arancino was rather on the small side but just right for a light meal. The waiters were quick and polite. The restroom was impeccable and nicely decorated. Good price-to-quality ratio. Worth visiting!

This lovely place in the historical district of Scicli has both a lovely interior decor and wonderful outside seating options. Have had several of their offerings and each time the food was excellent (love the bread they offer with the meal). The staff are superb and genuinely want you to have the most amazing dining experience possible. When walking past the restaurant it's nice they always smile and wave; truly wonderful people. Highly Recommend and look forward to their Octopus on our next visit.

Beautiful little gem of a restaurant in the historic district. Quality food at good prices. Both gourmet type food and pizza. Right next to NIVERA il gelato di natura, an ice cream place. Elegantly decorated, it has about 10 tables inside and 8 tables outside (4 in front and 4 in back of restaurant) when I visited in early October. Very interesting acoustics inside having a “whisper wall” effect like in Bologna, Italia. Someone talking on the other side or noises like rain sounds like in a certain corner of the wall where we were sitting! Artiginal beers and beverages, delicious. I had this wonderful ginger beer made locally., though it was not called by this name. Instead: Limone e Zenzero. The name is actually Osteria Donna Luisa, not Ristorante…

The best fish soup I've ever had

This place is amazeballs!
Ok, seriously, it's right next to "Montalbano Central" in Scicli, which is a good enough reason to be there. But wait till you get a taste of Marco's (the chef) cooking - it's enough to make you come back repeatedly for that alone!
Everything he makes is a *slight* variation on Sicilian classics, but variations that serve to just make those classics oh so much better (yes! it's possible!). We'd have eaten there everyday if we weren't leaving the next day 😔...
BTW Marco (the host, also called Marco!) is a wonderful guy - kind, personable, helpful, just about perfect...

The bottom line - this is destination food. If you're in Scicli - go. If you're *not* in Scicli, it's worth it to go there just for the food!

Tasty Italian food near the church square ! Really happening place at 11:30pm at night where it’s buzzing all the locals hang out around this restaurant as there is a trendy bar right next to it ! The food wise amazing tasty octopus with beans and yummy squid ink gnocchi

We were in Sicily in April and by far the best lunch we had was at Osteria Donna Luisa. The staff and kitchen were so accommodating ( I asked for spinach as a 'contorno' and it was perfect! An amazing dessert menu as well. Very Sicilian.

I had a wonderful fish antipasti plate, actually one of the most flavourful food that I have tried during my trip in Sicily. I had the luxury of being one of the sole guests during the evening, hence the staff was adorable, attentionated and generous. If you wish for a special evening in Scicli, I would strongly recommend!

Me and my wife entered an empty restaurant in Monday evening, and enjoyed the dinner. One of the best food we tried in Sicily. Staff was polite and pleasant. My recommendation

We had a lunch in this beautiful restaurant. Main dish amberjack fish was really good- well balanced and tasty. Connoli is super delicious. Service is outstanding. highly recommended!

Delicious food, great presentation and original menu. Extremely helpful and friendly stuff. The restaurant is located on one of the most beautiful streets of Scicli. I would highly recommend!!!

Siamo andati ieri a mangiare in questo posto, ho scelto in base alle recensioni dei clienti, tutto buonissimo e locale super carino. Camerieri/staff disponibili e gentili.
Ecco alcune foto: ravioli con crema di zucchine e guanciale, mio papà ha preso la pasta con le sarde e gli è piaciuta, mentre secondo insalatona con bresaola, scaglie, pomodori e noci. Poi abbiamo preso le patatine fritte, super buone anche quelle.

Sapori eccellenti. Ogni portata studiata e curata anche nella presentazione. Grande ospitalità. Una nota di apprezzamento particolare alle patate fritte: dal taglio che di solito si usa per farle arrosto, ma appunto fritte.

Stati oggi a pranzo, abbiamo mangiato divinamente!
Locale bello, personale gentile, prezzi onesti!
Forse un po’ lento, troppa attesa peró ne è valsa la pena!
Consiglio!

Veramente un locale ed un personale d'altri tempi. Gentilezza, velocità, cibo ottimo e ben impiattato. A Scicli lo consiglio.
