Locanda Palazzone

We stayed at this beautiful hotel during our roadtrip in Italy! It is a hideaway paradise. We loved the smiling and polite people ,we loved location, the view at vineyards and campaign , the tranquility ,the amazing architecture and decoration of this boutique palace! Most of all we loved owner's hospitality. Such a great person with love and passion for his land and for making good wine! We enjoyed the wine tour and we hope to come back soon!

Magnificent from start to finish! The perfect quiet luxury countryside escape. Tiziana was so professional and helpful, Claudia & Kasun waited on us impeccably, chef Luigi made delicious food and even let us tour the kitchen! Cristiana, the owner, was so welcoming and warm. The highlight for us was the magazine cover infinity pool. Perfection! *ONLY request is that the team has more artisan collections for souvenirs specific to the Palazzone! That would help to bring the memories home. We will be back, lots of love to this team!

Can’t describe. Absolutely amazing. Did NOT eat here but the stay and room #7 was awesome for our family of four.

Can't compliment Locanda Palazzone enough. The employees, the owners, the view, the service....all impeccable. We were there for 3 days, 2 nights while having our wedding and everyone had a beautiful experience. Tiziana made me feel at home and graciously accommodated every request. Wife and I fell in love with this place and will certainly be back.

We visited there for an afternoon. We enjoyed wine tasting with local cuisine. The wine is delicious! The food was yum and paired well with the wine we tried. The atmosphere is very charming - I could just stare at the view for hours. Afterward, we were given a tour of the winery. The people that work there are very kind and very accommodating.

Locanda Palazzone is just a special place. It was the most expensive stay during my trip through Italy but I enjoyed every piece of it. The location is truly beautiful, the property as well, the communication upfront as well as during the stay was efficient and friendly and the room I booked (Junior Suite) was clean and spacious and had a beautiful landscape view. We had dinner and enjoyed the 4 course menu including wine tasting very much. I will definitely order some of the Wine once I'm back to Germany :-) Place gets my recommendation!

LOVED this place! A truly wonderful staff that made us feel very welcomed. The room was great and had all the little elements that make it more comfortable. I would absolutely go back and use this as a base to explore Umbria.

This was a very pleasant stay in November. I was the only guest so I felt like the master of this 'castle'. That's a nice experience. In the evening I had my servant and the chef in the kitchen. The food was 'designer' food I'd call it: little portions but visual very nice. At the end of the meal I had enough to eat.
Great place to stay if you can afford it. Ground level of the building is great.

Beautiful fully restored mediaeval house complimented by attentive service. Within close reach of Orvieto, it is a retreat for those who appreciate elegance, tranquility and architectural beauty. I especially enjoyed the dinner and after dinner drinks at the lobby with all space by myself.

The service, food and wine is absolutely outstanding! The location and views are mesmerising so it’s a great bonus with the perfectly renovated historical building. I appreciated their attention to details in the designs and furniture, mixing design classics with rustic furniture and fixings.

Highly recommended!

Great family run Hotel and winery. We consider ourselves very luck to happen across this gem while visiting the region. I would return anytime I am in the area.

Incredible experience on the wine tasting, wich were harmonized with some cheese and bruschetas. The winemaker and the local guide, Maurizio, were very friendly and welcoming!
