A Nature Lover's Paradise!

Camping Sossogna is hands down the best campsite we've ever stayed at. Surrounded by lush greenery, it's super peaceful with nothing but the sweet sound of birds singing. The place is spotless, especially the bathrooms—so clean!

The pool was perfect for cooling off and relaxing. We also loved the surprise visits from the friendly goats—they added so much charm to our stay. :-)

Maddalena, the owner, is amazing. She's super friendly and always there to help via WhatsApp. She made sure everything was perfect for us.

We can't wait to tell all our nature-loving friends about Camping Sossogna. It's a magical spot we can't wait to visit again!!

Like camping in a botanic garden! One of the most beautiful camp sites that we ever stayed on. The small camping is renewed en reopened this year and looks amazing. There are just 10 large places in a valley with a small flowing stream. Really friendly owners!

From the site you can walk to the Rocco for an amazing view on Ovieto at sunset. We hope to return once!

This is a great and quiet camping. It is located beautifully in the nature and you can see that everything is made and cared for with a lot of love. Even though there were other people camping around us, you really had your own space. The host and his daughter are also very welcoming and helpful. The bathrooms were clean and the pool is a nice feature as well.

The most beautiful camping, so quiet, the birds, water in the river, the stars...
It's basic and for who is on the bicycle a hard last ride...
Friendly host, spacious places to put up your tent and close to Orvieto.
There is no shop or anything, hot showers and clean toilets.
Not suitable for campers (or just a VW)
Have fun here, on this secret spot!

We have just come back from Sossogna and it was defently worth the long drive from Utrecht.
Arriving there it looked even better than the pictures. My daughter fel in love with the dozen of kitens straight away. The garden with the flowery borders is a nice open space to play som football or so. Or to read a book under the shady grapeveignes.
We always filled up our watertank with the soft water from the spring. Maddelena was very helpfull and we had ate several times the best coeur the boeuf tomates and other vegetables she offered from her garden.
The places to pitch the tent are well shaded, sanitary clean, pool lovely. The hole place attracs a nice social type of people. My son played with every kid there.
During the day a concert of cicades but not the loud. In the night taken over by nightcrickets and the owl.

A place to do some real camping and come to ease!

Magical place. Fresh breath of pure nature. Beautiful night sky without any light pollution.

A small peacefull campsite in an oasis nearby Orvieto. Excellent location to scout Umbria and Tuscany. But ssssssshhhht... Don't tell anyone because this place is too good to share 😉

Abbiamo alloggiato presso il camping in due persone in tenda per una notte. Il campeggio é raggiungibile dopo circa 500 m di strada sterrata nella campagna Orvietana. Completamente immerso nel verde, con poche piazzole ben ombreggiate. Servizi igienici nuovi, comodissimi e molto puliti. Acqua potabile di ottima qualità, l’acqua sgorga purissima da una sorgente nei dintorni del campeggio. Dotato di piccolo bar e piscina.
Proprietari gentilissimi. Molto consigliato.

Wir waren im Juni für drei Tage dort. Ein wunderbarer Ort! Man merkt die Handschrift der Betreiberinnen - Blumensträuße in den allgemeinen Bereichen und auch in den sehr sauberen Sanitärbereichen. Schöner Pool und Terrasse. Es war auf unserer Fahrt durch Italien der schönste Campingplatz zum Entspannen. Vielen Dank für die freundliche Aufnahme....

juist als je denkt dat de wereld ophoudt en hoopt dat de camping te vinden is tref je een heel goed onderhouden terrein aan waar menig fietser, na een stevige klim richting Rocca di Ripensa, een waar natuurparadijsje aantreft. Er is een invalidentoilet, keurig onderhouden douches en mogelijkheid een verkoelend biertje te kopen. Ook een ontbijtje met croissantjes kan je er verkrijgen maar je kan ook in de ochtendzon op het terrasje je eigen ontbijtje fixen. Dit alles met een zeer vriendelijk en hartelijk ontvangst is deze camping een echte aanrader.

Heel prettig verblijf gehad op deze camping, zeer vriendelijke en behulpzame eigenaresse. Voorzieningen zoals het sanitair zijn zeer goed verzorgd. Dit is alles in een rustgevende mooie omgeving. Camping ligt aan het einde van een onverhard pad, dat wel wat lastig begaanbaar was met onze fietsen. Absolute aanrader!

Het is werkelijk een paradijsje, echt een unieke plek. Er zit zoveel liefde in, dat is overal zichtbaar en voelbaar. Nog nooit hebben we eerder op zo'n mooie camping gekampeerd. Midden in de natuur, omringd door verse bloemen. Vanaf de camping kan je prachtig wandelen, de uitzichten op het landschap van Umbrië en Orvieto zijn adembenemend mooi. S'ochtends worden we gewekt door een prachtig vogelconcert en verder heerst er veel rust en het geluid van een kabbelend beekje wat over de camping stroomt klinkt op de achtergrond. Het water kunnen we rechtstreeks uit de bron drinken, dat is kraakhelder, koel en smaakt heerlijk. De energie is er zo fijn, hier kan je echt landen. Dus we zijn er langer gebleven. We gaan hier zeker nog weer eens terugkomen 💚

Was für ein bezaubernder Ort! Herrlich direkt in der Natur mit separaten Terrassen zum Zelten oder für den Van. Zum Glück nicht geeignet für Wohnmobile! Sehr nette Leitung! Magdalena, torneremo sicuramente! Grazie mille!

Idyllisch gelegener Campingplätze der mit viel Liebe von zwei hilfsbereiten Damen geleitet wird. Viel Platz zum Entspannen!

Immerso nel verde, pace e tranquillità, erbe aromatiche, grandi querce e Castagni, un ruscello, piscina, due giorni di relax totale.

Posto meraviglioso immerso nella natura, ideale per rilassarsi e staccare dal caos della vita quotidiana! I gestori sono stati gentilissimi e ci hanno fatto sentire a casa, inoltre ci hanno fornito utilissime dritte sui locali di Orvieto nei quali cenare. Bagni pulitissimi e lavatrice sempre a disposizione senza sovrapprezzo!

Ambientazione fantastica! L agricampeggio è immerso nel verde e nel silenzio, situato appena fuori Orvieto é la tappa ideale per chi vuole rilassarsi, dispone di un vasto spazio per tende e camper, comode doccie e lavabi, una vasta piscina e addirittura una sorgente naturale ideale per rinvigorirsi dal caldo. In più la signorina che mi ha accolto è stata cordiale e gentilissima. Tornerò sicuramente qualora visiti di nuovo Orvieto. Consigliato a tutti!!
