Hotel Metropole Taormina

An enchanting hotel in an excellent location with spectacular service and views. They anticipated and catered to our needs throughout our stay. From the bellman, front desk team, David and team in the lounge to the waitresses and housekeepers, the service and courtesy was excellent. They knew us by name, remembering our likes. Great hotel! Impeccable service from start to finish. Great view! By far the best place to have a cocktail in Taormina. Well located. Staff is extremely attentive. Hotel manager Guiseppina is a star. Without a doubt the only place to stay in Taormina!

5-star from start to finish!! If you want to experience the beautiful town of Taormina - this is the place to stay. Absolutely amazing views from our balcony and the location is the most convenient for all the shops, restaurants and we were even able to hike down to Isola Bella. The rooms are stunning and the staff is exceptional. The pool deck was one of our favorite spots. We can’t wait to be back!

Metropol has been one of my favorite hotels for years. This trip did not disappoint. Great bar- outdoor terrace lounge with wonderful Jazz music. Great service. Amazing breakfast setup!! Our room was spectacular. Location is perfect...right in the middle of the main Corso. I personally had a few favorite employees.... Ambra, front desk.... Pina, head housekeeping, David, lounge/bar manager. Everyone was nice. DJ Angel played awesome music. I highly recommend this hotel.

Our room was stunning with an amazing bathroom & spectacular view. Looked forward to breakfast every morning and Sunset Martinis every evening! We Met lovely guest who were interesting to chat with. The manager was extremely helpful with setting up Greek Theater Tour & Pizza Classes 😍
This is by far one of the Best Hotels we stayed in during our 17 days in Italy.

A 5-star hotel with a truly unique location: one side overlooking the very center of Taormina with its shopping streets and the other side overlooking the sea! Rooms with stupendous sea views, an enchanting atrium and terraces with an infinity pool and unique panorama, to experience Taormina without missing a thing. Prices appropriate to the level and location of the hotel, the restaurant on the other hand, in my opinion, is not up to the mark and is a bit high priced for what it offers.

Amazing setting, views over the bay to die for, a chef who knows his stuff, and waiting staff who are knowledgeable, friendly and great at their jobs.
This place isn’t cheap but it’s worth every penny and a lot more. One of the best 👍

The hotel is not cheap, but they're up front about all their pricing. The shower was the best we had in Italy, the views were spectacular, the breakfast was perfect, and the slightly heated pool was a dream. Whether or not you think it's worth the price is subjective. For us, the experience was fantastic.

Marcello Russo, manager, is so kind and very professional. My wife and I truly appreciate all of the staff, from the wonderful ladies at breakfast to the valet gentlemen. We rebooked for a return visit before we even left. Thank you Mr. Russo and all at Metropole Taormina. Our 30TH anniversary experience was magical.

Went in here for a drink and to admire the view from the terrace. Neither disappointed. We'll worth a visit, not cheap but you will enjoy your time here.

The place is expensive yes, 5* hotels are.. but it is worth every penny you spend! The drinks, breakfast, dinner everything is absolutely perfect so if you can afford it you can't miss it. The view is breathtaking, we got given an upgrade for our room and we had a balcony right next to the belvedere terrace. The pool also is an experience, when you're in it, it seems that the water merges with the sea. It's insane, I can't wait to go back.

I did not stay or dine at this hotel but I just wanted to say a huge thank you to the lovely lady who looked after me when I had a big stack outside the hotel! She gave me ice for my ankle and water and was very caring. I was by myself when I fell over and was very grateful and appreciative of the concern she showed. Gracie.

Start to finish fantastic. They ya dour room ready early with an upgrade. Amazing boutique hotel nestled on the hillside. Great lounge bar with epic views. Staff goes above and beyond the call. Upon arrival my wife’s leather sandal sole had come off the porter noticed asked to take the sandal fixed it and had it returned within the hour. Bravo. If I could give 6 stars I would. The spa is super small with great services. Breakfast options were nice and again amazing staff. Thanks.

An amazing experience, fantastic service, all the staff are so friendly and want to make your stay a special one, the room is just wow, and the breakfast is lovely. I would say worth the monet spent as it will be a great memory.

Central location, clean and a beautiful infinity pool overlooking the steep slopes leading down from Taormina to the Mediterranean Sea. Rooms with sea view heavenly in all adpects. Ideal for a relaxing holiday . Courteous staff, especially Marcello on the front desk and Maria serving breakfast with a smile. Numerous restaurants within walking distance

Fantastic aperitivo on the terrazza with live jazz music. Hard to say what the highlight was- worth every €€€. The staff were truly amazing , attentive, genuine, with great attention to detail. Decor, ambience, stunning views, delectable selection for aperitivo. And the quality of the band and vocalist was world class.

A true example of Italian hospitality, the staff is exceptionally welcoming and make you feel at home in the luxury of a 5 star hotel in the heart of Taormina. Very strongly recommended!
