La Bussola Ristorante Pizzeria Grill

A very nice restaurant, good food but some unusual aspects.

We both had very nice pizzas served promptly and were piping hot.

But odd aspects €2 cover charge made but no bread or water that usually goes with such a charge, but other at the restaurant did receive the cover charge items.

Price ok despite the additional €2 charged per pizza.

Nice views and pleasant atmosphere.

Plenty of vegetarian options but like most Italian restaurants you have to go through each section to find them.

Exceptional doesn't even begin to describe our experience at La Bussola thanks to the incredible service provided by Carmen. From the moment we stepped in, Carmen's warm smile and attentive demeanor set the tone for an unforgettable evening. Her knowledge of the menu was impeccable, guiding us through a culinary journey that exceeded all expectations.

Not only was Carmen attentive to our needs, but she also went above and beyond to ensure every aspect of our dining experience was perfect. Her genuine passion for hospitality truly shines through, making us feel like valued guests throughout the entire meal.

As for the food, it was nothing short of amazing.

Carmen's exceptional service combined with the outstanding cuisine made our evening truly memorable. We left La Bussola with full hearts and satisfied palates, already planning our next visit. Thank you, Carmen, for making our dining experience one to remember!

Delicious food! We had bruschetta and an octopus salad for antipasto.
For first plate I can recommend the pasta paccheri with sword-fish! Every dish was brought with hot temperature (not cold).
The Mojito was perfectly mixed.

I was afraid when I first arrived in Giardini Naxos (given that they do not close between lunch and dinner) that this could be a "tourist trap" but they quickly proved me wrong. They have zero problem speaking English with you here but the food and experience is authentic Siciilian-style and modestly priced. Great location a few meters from the Ionian Sea, friendly and accommodating waitstaff, quality food and wine -- I cannot recommend highly enough. There are dozens upon dozens of restaurants within a stone's throw of where I vacationed, but this place led me back for meals repeatedly because of its comfort, charm, and excellent value.

Amazing place! Drinks and food are delicious, service is attentive even though the place is busy. We had beef carpaccio and salmon carpaccio for starters followed by lasagna with meat and pasta with shrimps and pistachio for mains.

Great Food, and dessert. Very reasonable prices, fast service, very nice staff, good English communication. I highly recommend this restaurant.

I had pizza for take out and it was delicious. You can eat with awesome view.

The pasta carbonara and gamberetti with pistacchio was very tasty and the waiter Carmen was so friendly. Also, we got free lemon granita

The best food in Giardini Naxos, the staff is very pleasant

We had a fantastic lunch. My tuna salad was fresh, delicious and my husband’s pizza was excellent. Our waiter was amazing. He was not only attentive for our needs but he was aware of what other patrons needed and acted efficiently! Highly recommend.

Really great food with quick food but shamefully long amount of time to clear plates - had to go and stand by the till. The food was fantastic though.

we had fish, pizza and seafood risotto. all of them very tasteful,pistachio pizza was amazing and the best I had in Italy. Staff was very attentive and smiley.

Fantastic! Big portions, reasonable prices, short waiting times and good selection of food ( pizza, pasta, seafood, meat, salads). In our stay in Giardini we visited this place 4 days in a row and we couldn't get enough of it. The waiter we had was the most hospitable, gave good recommendations on the menu and always made us feel welcome in each of our visits. Strongly recommend!

We were super impressed of this restaurant. Has a perfect view to the sea and the food is simply amazing. South-italian food is memorable. I had some pasta with seafood. Delicious.

Best food we had in a week! Good service but a bit slow. I suspect this was because of the food was cooked without shortcuts. Noisy street with motorbikes passing by. Anyhow, the quality of food compensates for both slow serving and noise. I will recommend this restaurant.
