Caffè Wunderbar

Caffè Wunderbar is on of my favorite spots to go to in Taormina. They have a lovely outside patio covered by a large pavilion along which is great when you want to get out of the heat on a hot day. That being said, they also have tables that get plenty of sun. So, if you want to you can choose between what you would prefer!

The view from the Pavilion is one of the best ones in town. They also have a nice bar and gelato spot inside if you really want to dine inside. Either way you choose, you can’t go wrong. I recommend getting the cannoli filled with chocolate gelato and the lemon spritz! Thank you!

Fantastic location and best people watching! My husband and I went for a drink and tiramisu. It was light, huge and delicious! The service was a little slow and we had to search for our server when we were ready to leave. Another plus, very nice, clean bathrooms!

We stopped for drinks, it probably has one of the best views in the area, it also had live music both when we walked past at lunch and when we stopped at golden hour.

Yes, it’s a little overpriced, but the view is phenomenal, and when we went the service was superb, and no more expensive than Sydney where we live.

We had 2 drinks each about €44, but watched sunset to a live singer, drummer and pianist.

One of the best restaurants we’ve ever been to in our lives. From the fantastic attentive service, the phenomenal view overlooking Isolabella and Mt Etna to the beautiful live music - our time in Taormina would not have been the same without this place. We’ve come back twice and we are only here for 3 nights. Big shout out to Riccardo & Francesco who were our waiters - they were brilliant! Can’t recommend it highly enough.

Great caffe. You can have breakfast, lunch or dinner. Everything is delicious and the service is great, as well as the prices. It's so good we went twice in the same day.

The best Capiccino I ever had! A great view of Taormina coast and Mount Etna volcano.

Enjoyed a coffee here whilst watching the “Show” of people walking past. Set in a beautiful square of Taormina. The prices are high but what you would expect in this area

Simone is the nicest and the most charming waiter in Toarmina. Smiling and very helpful. Easy access to the restaurant 🧑🏻‍🦽disabled toilets available as well

Beautiful sea views, great wine list and amazing coffee. The bolognese lasagna was delicious!

Had a glass of red wine whilst the sun set on a busy Sunday evening in Taormina. Was a lovely glass of red and the waiter was great. He was rushed off his feet and still serving with a smile and friendly as ever.

Good enough for Richard Burton and Elizabeth Taylor... Good enough for me! Coffee or cocktails are great but It's the view that makes the difference.

Prices are high, but it's well worth it. You are getting the best view of the sea and the piazza.

Some poor reviews about service, we didn't experience that. Service was great and the found us a table over looking the sea. The atmosphere was excellent and there were also guitars and mandolins playing music which was perfect. Food was not the best I have ever tasted but the location was just out of this world....would be back in a heart beat....loved it....

We just had the apertivo and the views are great. We had pretty good service and no complaints. The drinks were nice and the location is perfect!!

The perfect place to share a glass of wine with lunch. In the evening , my wife and did a wine tasting while watching the sunset. Prices were very fair and we'll be back when in Taormina. 5-star star the way!!!!!!
