Ristorante Alto Savio

We stopped here randomly on a motorcycle trip to get some lunch and hide from the rain. This place was spectacular! The staff were so friendly, each one said hello as we arrived. The pasta was really good and when we finished we were given a plate of cakes and biscuits for free!
The owner had a chat with us afterwards about his experience with motorcycles and wished us well on the road.

Very nice local restaurant with friendly stuff and huge choice of traditional food and local wines.

Amazing food! Paid only 54 euros for a huge starter for 2, two meals, a liter of wine, water, and a dessert. Everything was awesome and the chef was extremely kind and welcoming even though we did not speak the same language. He made recommendations that were awesome and had an all around awesome experience!

Yes! Best place in town. Or maybe the whole region. Owner personally serves his guests with passion and generosity. Comes and goes with local side dishes, special wines, dessert, aperitifs and more. Food is very good, mostly freshly shot wild and local foods.

Would've eaten here every day if I'd have stayed any longer.

Ristorante sull'alto appennino alta valle del Savio come dice il nome. La struttura si presenta come un bar con annesso ristorante che potrebbe essere di cinquanta anni fa. Dall'esterno non dice molto ma credetemi vale la pena entrare ed assaggiarne la cucina. Prodotti del territorio e caccia cucinati ottimamente. La conduzione è familiare il servizio veloce ed il personale gentile. Raccomando vivamente

Cibo delizioso perfetto dalla regione degli Appennini. Abbiamo preso il piatto di arrosto misto con cinghiale, coniglio, pollo, vitello e porchetta. Onestamente, è stato il miglior arrosto che abbiamo avuto negli ultimi 10 anni o più. Degno di nota anche che i piatti vengono preparati freschi, non tirati fuori dal forno. Inoltre, un servizio sinceramente amichevole e prezzi molto onesti. Torneremo sicuramente.

Perfect, delicious food from the Apennine region. We had the mixed roast platter with wild boar, rabbit, chicken, veal and porchetta. Hand on heart, it was the best roast we've had in the last 10 years or more. It's also worth noting that the dishes are freshly prepared, not pulled out of the oven. On top of that, genuinely friendly service and very fair prices. We will be back.

Senza le indicazioni non è facile trovarlo nonostante sia sulla strada principale che porta a San Piero in Bagno. Finalmente ho trovato dei salumi con il sapore di salume. Anche le tagliatelle al ragù (la mia cartina di tornasole) erano sopra la media mentre i ravioli ai funghi prugnoli buoni ma non entusiasmanti. Siamo passati direttamente al dolce, il "lattaiolo", tipico della zona, molto buono. Ci torneremo per assaggiare i secondi che sono in numero considerevole. Non c'è il menù cartaceo.

Appena entri sembra essere tornati indietro nel tempo, ma appena ti siedi a tavola e inizi a mangiare capisci che è il posto giusto. Cibo ottimo e di tradizione, servizio ben fatto a partire dal proprietario davvero un ottimo oste, ci hanno accolto benissimo. Se venite da fuori come noi fermatevi. Un saluto da Rimini e da PEPE!
