Ristorante Terramia

We are staying in Vico Equense and stopped by this amazing restaurant. We were lucky to get the last available table, as we did not have reservations for a Sunday. Marco was our waiter and was beyond wonderful. He was very service-oriented, helpful, attentive, funny, charming and just amazing at his job. The food was unbelievable. I had a Squid Ink Gnocchi and my wife had linguine with mixed seafood as a first course. This was even better tasting than our second course, consisting of Sea Bream and Seared Tuna, both excellent. Highly recommend this fabulous restaurant and ask for Marco!!!

What a find! We were in Vico Equense for our honeymoon and found this place on our way back from the station. We didn’t book a table but were invited in and offered a table by the window. The restaurant is light and fresh with great views and the food is to die for. Marco our waiter was amazing. He was very attentive without hassling us. He was always there at the right time despite there being a big party on the table next to us and made us feel very welcome. He recommended local dishes to us rather than let us order standard things off the menu and we were so glad we took his advice. The local aubergine scialatielli pasta was divine and the calzone one of the best I’ve had but the fillet of freshly caught white marlin in a lemon crust was the highlight for us. Fully recommend this place and the staff.

Terramia was the standout restaurant of our Italy trip, so much so that we came back for dinner a second night! From the food to the service, all was truly excellent. Our server Marco was such a joy who added significantly to our dining experience. From his excellent suggestions on the menu to his energetic personality and passion for food & drinks, our group of 6 all had fantastic meals. He provided a personal touch to our experience that really stood out, certainly one of the best servers we've ever had.

The restaurant and chef also took fantastic care of both I and my friend's food allergies, with no cross contamination. My personal standout was the mussel soup and fried swordfish, however we thought all the dishes were generally very good, a 7-8 at worst. My mussel soup and friend swordfish were truly delicious with the salty, meaty, somewhat spicy marinara sauce. Excellent, strong favor in a country with relatively mild flavors.

Excellent food with an amazing waiter. Marco gave us the feeling to be among friends and is at the same time very professional. You have to taste Fantasia di Mare - great taste!

We ate here our last night and regretted waiting as we found this to be only one we could have come back to. It's one of the larger restaurants but the service and food was very good. Good wine recommendation that worked well with the food.

Our last diner in Italy was there and it was amazing. Food was delicious, the waiters went out of their way to make it perfect. One of them made us a divine non alcoholic drink. The view was superb.

This was our first meal in Sorrento. We were very hungry after our journey from Florence. The restaurant hasmd a huge terrace outdoor seating. It was siesta time but glad that they were open and we could order. Our server was the most gracious host ever. He got us Passover bread and the most delicious olive oil. We ordered Passover bread deconstructed with ham, eggs & cheese. The kids got spaghetti. Our wine was delicious. I loved my prawn risotto. The taste is still lingering in my mouth. The green peas gnocchi was to die for…. The open setting of the restaurant, wine and the delicious food created magic around us… loved this place and will come back again if we can….

I had the rare red tuna with an almond and pistachio crust: superb! Followed by delizia al limone, a light, fragrant lemon cake, simply yummy… pizza was also very good and the cheesecake excellent.. atmospheric and very charming waiters, made our last meal of our holiday a great experience…

Wonderful restaurant with a nice selection of dishes, very family friendly! The pizza was amazing, the pasta as well and the fried seafood platter was astonishing and perfectly seasoned (unlike other places we’ve been where salt has been very absent). The desserts were very nice, the pannacotta was very well made and obviously freshly made and they kindly brought out regular ice cream for my daughter even though it was not on the menu.
Also nice dessert wines.

The restaurant is amazing and very well located near the center and the train station. Very nice decoration. The service is top and all the waiters are super nice and speak perfect English. The food is very delicious and tasty. The prices are fine too but not cheap. Overall, I highly recommend it.

This place is amazing! One of the best restaurants I ate at in Italy and this is saying a lot as I’m a New Yorker. Definitely a must go. And I would recommend the house wine and the ravioli. Owner is amazing and so tentative. You can tell that everyone that works here is proud of it and proud of the quality in food and in the service. 10/10

Has to be one of the best restaurants in the Amalfi region. We traveled to a number of cities on this trip and this has been the best experience. We went there three nights in a row because it was so good. From the attentive singing waiter to the passionate owner it is hands down 5 stars. The pizza is perfect with crispy crust, fresh sauce and just the right amount of cheese. The pasta and seafood is cooked perfectly and the ravioli amazing.

Outstanding food, with possibly the best waiter service I have experienced anywhere in the world. A bonus is the stunning view of the Bay of Naples and Vesuvius from the restaurant. Was recommended to us by a local resident. Make sure you go here.

If you’re looking for some fresh seafood, this place is for you! Not only the food but also the service were amazing.

What a wonderful meal in Vico Equense. We enjoyed the food and service so much we returned for another meal. Marco, one of the waiters, is a rockstar. Not only did he recommend a wine that we loved, but also a main dish that would pair well with it. His service was exemplary and he made sure we were taken care of the entire time. Thanks, Marco!

Amazing atmosphere and food. Especially their seafood is second to non. Even better the service, Marco made our evenings unbelievable with his knowledge and humor - also shout out to Daniele. Incredible people who make the delicious food even better.

Amazing flavours enhanced by an amazing view of Mt Vesuvius, for starters we had the caprese salad and the grilled squid salad, next came the beef with fries and tomato salad. Also tried the clam linguine it was all very exciting flavours. The last dish was the seared ssea bass with potato gratin perfectly cooked. This place has great presentation and the ambience of the restaurant is very well balanced without it being pretentious. It exudes class sophistication.

What a beautiful place this is. The setting is lovely, well decorated. The food is so fresh and tasty. Had the ravioli with prawns and it was delightful. The waiter was very helpful and chatty. Highly recommend a visit whilst staying here.
