Ristorante pizzeria Sunrise Bormio

There was a bit of a line/wait on a Wednesday night, but it was worth it. Make reservations if you can. It was a very welcoming and warm restaurant, and you can tell the staff really work together and get along.
The food was simple but so delicious, I ate everything and cleaned my plate, which I have not done in a long time.

Booking is highly recommended. Place is heaving. And people know why: good food , swift, friendly service and unbeatable price.
We have a 13 year old who doesn’t want posh food but good Italian pasta , pizza , or chicken. Two thumbs up.

Super friendly, warm and inviting place with fantastic food. We had a total blast.
Recommend the house red wine, though every bottle will taste a bit different which is also part of the charm.

Second time here and it’s so delicious! Recommend the bolognese and the ravioli with truffle sauce. So so good.
Service was a little slow when it got busy (there was a line up) but it’s a popular restaurant!
Wine is good, beer is good, music is good (not too loud).

We came to the restaurant 5 minutes before opening and it filles immidiatelly, i recommend booking a reservation.

Amazing restaurant. You really feel the spirit of Italy here. Looks quite from outside but people like this place. Big menu, Very nice food and drinks.

We ate here multiple times during our stay in Bormio. Everything is so good. My favorite was the ragu gnocchi.

We visit Bormio very often - we have visited almost all the restaurants in the city and Sunrise is definitely the best. very good food - passionate people work here - great atmosphere - I recommend it 100%

Great food (quattro stagioni pizza and tagliatelle), great dessert (tiramisù and chocolate cake), great house wine (red). Very friendly staff, very attentive and hard working :)

It was one of the few places open during end of april time frame.
The location is aper nice and cozy.
Pizzoccheri are cheesy but super good with crunchy verza I think.
Don’t miss out on the sciatt and the local wine.

Looking for great pizza in Bormio? Don’t seek any further, this is the place! Fantastic pizza from the oven, and reasonably priced. They have also a menu turistico and other food selection but we stayed at the pizza. Tip - better to choose a bottled wine (good choice) than their house wine ‘mezzo littro’ bottle. And the owner adds his fantastic personal touch at each his appearance in the room :))

Found this place as a last minute walk in dinner, was not disappointed! My other half said the primi piatti pasta dish (ravioli with cheese truffle and shallot sauce) was the best she's ever had... my porcini tagliatelle was equally as awesome. We also enjoyed some wine and a pizza before sharing the home made tiramisú. We left very happy. (Fyi the restaurant is in the cellar, and is quite warm! Due to the pizza oven)

Great little restaurant with great food. They have specials and honestly they are very hard to beat. The olive oil and balsamic vinaigrette is the best I have ever had. Of course it is Italian sourced. The plates are very well presented and they have a wonderful taste. I will definitely be going back to try out different dishes as the price is right and the food was excellent. The restaurant also has a unique vibe and a more upscale design with somewhat dimmed lighting. They also have a bar and cigar lounge as well if that interest you.

We had the 31 Euro set menu which was a good selection, really nice and a great price, also some house red wine which was also nice and great value

Great atmosphere and the food was excellent. They also had a good selection of wines.
When we booked, they did not ask for a name and when we arrived there was a bottleneck of people who had booked who were all waiting for tables.
We went for the set menu which was well worth doing.
Definitely a good find and we will go again soon.
It is always fully booked so do call the day before (or earlier) if you want to eat there.
