Absolute Tuscan Dream! True luxury in it’s simplicity. Impeccable service. No detail is left behind. Magnificent views. Intimate, yet the small village they have beautifully restored is straight out of a movie set and brings atmosphere. Highly recommend this paradise.

We had a perfect stay here during the holidays. Christmas in Montalcino is something really special. The hotel grounds are beautiful, the food and wine were outstanding, and the staff was so welcoming. I can’t wait to return!

This was truly a 6 star experience and the best hotel we’ve stayed in. (The moment we entered our room we decided to extend our stay!) The entire property is well-maintained and looks brand new, and there is a huge team of staff making sure everything runs smoothly.

Francesca was a star employee we saw on most of our days here and she remembered our names/preferences and always was so professional and attentive. She even personally bid us farewell on our last morning and she is one of the memorable parts of our Rosewood experience.

The hotel has a dedicated WhatsApp service line to attend to all your needs and queries which we found very useful for asking questions about our activities we had booked with them and for restaurant reservations. Martina and Allesia were also great welcoming us on our first day and introducing the property to us as the rooms are a walk away from the main reception/restaurants.

We booked a truffle hunting+farm tour+lunch experience with the hotel and really enjoyed it, they have a variety of cooking classes and others that suit different tastes.

The gym and pools also have spectacular views and are well equipped with all you need for a good workout. Housekeeping was top-notch and efficient. No complaints at all about the stay, it was worth every penny!

Rosewood Castiglion del Bosco always feels like home for us. The staff is absolutely amazing, the food is incredibly delicious, the views are breathtaking, and every single detail is always just perfect! Suffice it to say that we keep coming back year after year because of how much we love it there, but mostly it's because of the people at RWCDB! They are all so wonderful!

Everything is still as unspoiled and breathtaking as it was/has been - since my first visit in 2012.

Thoughtfulness of the entire team. Amazing food - even the simple pizza taste amazing. The way they cook it preserves the natural flavours of all the fresh ingredients. Very much enjoyed the new bar and the new breakfast offerings.

Once again we got to visit our “heaven on earth”! Such a special getaway with a team that feels like family every time we return. The views, the food, the wine and the sounds! We love everything about this resort. It’s never long enough. We were lucky enough to visit the wine room for a tasting, no time for golf but a trip to the golf shop and lunch at the restaurant and relaxation in the pool and the spa. The staff helped us with a day trip to Siena for the Palio horse race and a day in Florence for antiquing, visiting the CbD wine lounge and a personal fragrance creation experience. Cannot wait to return!

If you appreciate the highest levels of both privacy and service, you have to experience Castiglion Del Bosco.

We had a wonderful stay at Castiglion del Bosco. We have visited twice before but it just gets better and better. Our suite was beautiful and the meal delicious. However, for us the stand-out feature is the exceptional customer service. All the staff are very well trained, friendly and efficient. We also played golf and the team at the golf club were fantastic too.

This is by far the best resort that I have ever been a guest at. The service was top notch. Everyone went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we need and were taken care of. There are little touches and details throughout that add luxury and comfort. The views!!!!! It is so serene and peaceful. The little town that you are apart on site has every accommodation and more!

We had the best time. The property is gorgeous. The food was amazing. We enjoyed every activity that the hotel arranged for us: the vertical wine tasting, the truffle experience at Poggio Rubino and the vegetarian cooking class. The very best element of the experience was the Rosewood staff- every single person we spoke with was so friendly and professional. We adored the bar tenders, the reception staff is outstanding- I can't say enough good things about them- the wonderful staff from all of the restaurants were absolutely amazing- so knowledgeable and friendly. We felt so comfortable and at the same time everything was special and unique. We loved every minute. Thank you.

I am a big fan of Aman hotels but I believe that the Rosewood brand is a serious competitor to them. The secluded location - literally the place is in the woods and you have to drive on unpaved roads to get to it for 5 miles or so - the great service, the attention to detail in the room providing for all possible needs, great 1 Michelin star restaurant, staff very accommodating when we wanted to eat different things than what they provided, heated pool..I mean, we had a great time and I warmly recommend it.

Rosewood Castiglion del Bosco has set a new standard for luxury travel. From the stunning views to the warm welcome from your team, it was a true pleasure to experience your beautiful hotel. Each team member we encountered embodied warm, gracious hospitality. The design details from Mrs. Ferragamo were the ultimate in understated elegance. Everything was comfortable, yet not opulent. It is a delicate balance but sincerely appreciated.

Quite possibly the best hotel experience we have ever had. This place is absolutely breathtaking. The rooms! The views and grounds! The food! The staff goes above and beyond to make your stay nothing short of perfect. Do yourself a favor and book a trip to Tuscany at CDB! This was truly 11/10!

Just wow. Our stay here was beyond beautiful and felt like we could really escape into the peace and quiet of the Tuscan hills! We LOVED the night that the chef came and grilled for us— the food was fantastic. The wine tour and tasting were also splendid. If you can do the picnic up at the other villa— do it! Amazing view. We wish me had more time or could’ve more easily gone up to the pool by the reception. Thanks for an amazing stay!

I could give one million stars to this hotel if I could afford to stay in such a beautiful hotel. But unfortunately, I can't even afford to enjoy one meal in their restaurant. A dream will come true one day and I will visit Tuscany with my husband. Until then, enjoy your beautiful nature in Tuscany.

Incredible.

From Rossario picking myself and my new wife up from the train (the moment my foot hit the ground) to Margarita and Alesia in the reception room, to our waiters, the cleaning staff and Jeremy attending my bar - I’ve never had service like this. They are ALL amazing and kind people.

My wife lost her bag from a cheaper airline coming from Spain. They tracked it down for us and their driver retrieved it from the Florence airport.

The food was absolutely amazing . Congratulations on your new Michelin award! Even the “casual” restaurant is delicious.

Every detail attended to.

I’ve read some reviews downgrading this resort because of the quality of English from the staff. Get real people. Do your best to learn a little Italian , even my broken Spanish got me by. But, overall I could communicate with anyone in English as well.

I felt like I had value (and then some) for the price of this resort. This place is honestly the best place I have ever stayed …. In the world. We only spent 2 days here because it’s a little bit of a price stretch for us and if I could afford it, and didn’t have future plans for the amalfi coast, I would have stayed 4 days.

If you are a hiker - hike to the vineyard through the Forrest. It’s a little tuff to navigate with leaves on the ground (as opposed to Colorado), but they have small yellow paint along the trail to help you along.

I have 2 young daughters and I don’t think I will bring them here until they are 18+

IF I WAS TO COMPLAIN: they only misstep this resort had is POSSIBLY the pitch on the bocce court. It was kind of wet sand instead of crushed sea shells. I’m not even sure which is the proper surface, but I think it’s sea shells. However, my wife and I ordered a bottle of wine and bowled 2 matches and had a fantastic 60 minutes of fun.

I am already looking forward to a future visit and will refer all of my friends.

My wife and I ranked our top 5 resorts over breakfast. This place is #1 and will be in our hearts forever!!!!!

Grazie, for making our stay in Tuscany the highlight of our year. Everyone from the front desk, to Lucy in the kid’s club, to the wait staff, to the team at the golf club to housekeeping went above expectations for even a five-star luxury stay. It had been almost six years since our last stay at CdB, and I truly hope that it will not be that long before our next. I hope that our family comes to see CdB as a fantasy-land that we get to revisit every couple of years so that it becomes like a second home. Thank you again for making our visit special, we truly cannot thank you, or recommend CdB any more than we hope to have done in this review.

The del Voscovo Suite is one of the nicest rooms we've ever stayed in. Even better, we were just an elevator ride away from the bar and restaurant. Hotel staff was extremely attentive and I would recommend this place for anyone wishing to get away for mindfulness and serenity.

Overall, the grounds are spectacular with a focus to olden times. If you look around, the history of the old town is everywhere from the castle steps, to the old horse barns, and the incredible views from the pool area.
