Trattoria da Fiorella

EXCELLENT restaurant. I was solo for lunch, while my husband was cycling, and usually eat at Latte di Luna but decided to try Trattoria da Fiorella. The place is small and quaint and when the restaurant full it can take a while to get a table. I had a balcony table, which was a wonderful place to sit. I ordered house wine, house made Pici with porcinis and finished with the most beautiful chocolate budino. Everything was delicious and the service was excellent.

One of the best restaurants in Pienza. Service is outstanding and feels homely. Food was excellent - the gnocchi in particular was the best we've ever had anywhere. Totally worth a stop just to try the gnocchi.

Found this spot for lunch. Very quiet and tranquil ambience. Staff full of smiles and warmth. Pasta absolutely incredible and truly magical lamb. Generous portions and fairly priced. Absolutely worth your time and money.

Delicious food for a reasonable price. Trattoria is really close to the center of Pienza, just 2 minutes walk from the Duomo and a few minutes walk from the parking. We tried gnocchi in pecorino sauce and homemade pasta with tomatoes and garlic. Everything was flavourful, prepared perfectly. Portions were big. For the dessert we tried homemade cake with pear jam, fresh pears and walnuts. It was delicious. Service was very good, the staff was friendly, we didn't wait long for our meals. The atmosphere is cozy and quiet, you can just rest and enjoy your meal.

Looking back at my trip, this place was my favorite from all. The pasta is cooked to perfection and the sauces are made at the moment with the higher quality of ingredients making it the most tasteful from all the pastas I’ve tried.

The restaurant is a very typical and nice place in the center of the city that cooks typical food from the region. You can taste the awesome Pecorino and the tasty Fiorentina, or eat the very well cooked grigliata di Maiale. Prices are really competitive and staff really friendly and helpful.

The best local products served, pecorino cheese has blown my mind! For two main courses, plate of cold cuts and water we have paid 46,40 eur- it was worth it!
For sure I will be back if I will be in Pienza.

We recommend it! Everything we ate was tasty and the service was great. If you like cheese is recomendable to try the Pecorino table.

Amazing experience, also meeting the brothers who run the establishment. Highly recommend the pecorino fuso (beautifully melted cheese also with radicchio, pear, and walnuts) and the handmade pici aglione (garlic and tomato pasta). You won’t be disappointed!

Loved the appetizer with chicken liver and salami, loved the main course pasta and absolutely adored dessert pana cota and puding. The service was great, thanks once again!

Great family lunch. We walked in a little late but we’re still warmly welcomed. Prosecco was divine, tasty gnocchi. And topped with an Amaretto dessert which was the best. Thank you.

It was the best Tbone steat I’ve tried ever! It was crispy on the outside with juicy and tender inside !! Super nice steak, also tomato garlic pasta and cheese crepe with zucchini were amazing! This made our day !

One of our favorite meals in Toscana. The service was thoughtful, the food was delicious. We went on a recommendation from a local sommelier and it did not disappoint. Pici fatti a mano all’Aglione (handmade pasta) and Costoline di agnello dorate e fritte (fried lamb ribs) were great. Panna cotta was lovely. Even the house wine was good! We hope to come back soon.

This was the best meal we had in Tuscany! We had an amazing pear and cheese dish, followed by a pesto and cheese dish. The gnocchi was the best we had in Italian. We finished with the veal which was tender and perfectly cooked.

Loved it! The owner was so friendly and the food was delicious! We had duck pasta, rabbit and veal steak! Perfect flavours, the steak was tender and cooked perfectly! The panna cotta was delicious and with a lovely twist of crunchy topping! My idea of a perfect Tuscan meal!
