Trattoria La Buca delle Fate

I love this restaurant.Tasty food and hospitable owner. We search many restaurants nearby, choose this one by accident, Tagliatelle Al tartufo fresco is awesome!

We were in Pienza for 3 days and had lunch here twice. The service was quick and the food excellent. In particular, the crouton sampler and wild boar were among my favorite meals. Highly recommend!

The best restaurant at Montalcino region. Amazing food, the best Pecorino cheese I’ve ever tried.

Amazing dishes and amazing people! You definitely have to try the wild boar in umido along with vegetables in the oven and baked potatoes! Also the pappardelle in boar souce are absolutely great! And the tiramisu - one of the best eaten in Toscana! 🤤🤤
The whole team are so kind, willing to help and so nice - definitely you will thank yourself for going there! Keep up the good work guys!

Good home made pasta.
Had the pasta bolognese which was very tasty.
The stuff is friendly and fast.
The place looks good and is clean.
One portion of pasta bolognese was 8.5€ at the time of this post.
The sides are bit expensive, 1 portion of baked potatoes 5€.
Table cover was 2€ per person, but like no other ppace before, we received wather and bread in this amount.

Perfect choice for enjoying a typical Toscana dinner in Pienza!!!!! Nice place with descent prices and nice service!The Cacio and pepe is fantastic as well as the pasta with Ragu!

Great Trattoria and if you are lucky when you reserve a table with also an amazing view😍
I suggest trying this restaurant because you may taste some local food at the right price.
Recommend dish: Fiorentina because they bring you a warm plate for maintaining the temperature and the steak quality is high🍽

It was all was really delicous and fantastic except we were served two times with wrong dishes. Atmosphere and people in there is marvelous!!!

Very friendly staff even they were fully booked. So you better reserve a table. We were on a Monday evening in end of September during Corona.

Delicious italian food and tasty wine and really nice staff. warm place with a real rustic atmosphere. The prices are cheap in comparison of other cafes and restaurants in pienza.

Absolutely fell in love with this restaurant during our 3 night stay in Pienza. We ended up coming back all 3 nights! Food was amazing, best pasta we’ve ever eaten. Service perfect & all round atmosphere. Couldn’t recommend this place enough. Most reasonable prices in Pienza too.

Best italian pasta I've tried, just incredible. The gnocchis ai funghi, simply delicious, with real boletus. Desserts, wait for it, you have to see it, amazing. Best place in Pienza to have dinner, cozy, good service and normal prices. It just worths it.

Very good food, reasonable prices, very tasty house wine, nice and friendly staff (the slender lady who works for the tables outside is super sweet!).
I warmly recommend everyone to try out gnocchi, these are so soft and tasty!
