Enoteca e Wine Bar Casa Porciatti

A definite gem, tucked away under the beautiful streets of Radda, this Enoteca delivered. The setting and town are of course jaw dropping, and the cellar ambiance is great as you dine on simple yet amazing home-style cooking. You absolutely picture an Italian grandma cooking in the back, using her family’s recipes passed down for generations. Truly excellent food and of course a massive selection of local wines. The Vernaccia di San Gimignano was a very nice offering for a white.

Every dish here was good or great. The salumi plate was all excellent, with a nice mix of very thinly sliced meats that melt on your tongue. The tripe was amazing (and I usually don’t like much and the pulled pork surprisingly good with its herbal notes. The ossobuca was tender and full of robust flavor. The beef cheeks were tender and delicious. The bread soup was thick, creamy and rich. The salad had some nice extra touches like the pickled vegetables. We actually skipped a pasta, needing a bit of break, but everything was most filling, and yet we cleaned all the plates. Final vote of approval is the kids ate it all like champs. Would definitely go back.

Absolutely not to be missed restaurant in Radda in Chianti. They have an excellent wine selection with the three different levels of Chianti: Gran Seleccione (the best), Riserva and Chianti Classico. You can buy 6 and ship if for 75 euro; to ship 12 it would cost 120euro. Prices were very reasonable for the wines. Food is of high value as well and fresh.

The place is amazing! They offer a wine tasting with a dedicated Menu for your taste! The dessert was really good.

We had a lunch today, first of all staff is very gentil and professional, service was fast enough. I had pici (kind of thick home made spaghetti) with tartufo , my husband had ravioli with menta with some nice filling. You can tell all the products which they are using was high-end, vine was tasty. Definitely will visit again.

Truly an amazing spot to taste many local wines. Many surrounding wineries are hard to book or don't do tastings at all but here they have small tasting portions that cost between 1 and 5 euros and give you a great chance to try different styles at one place. The shop is pretty well stocked with fair prices

If you are staying in or near Radda, make this a stop on your trip. Taste a great selection of wines from the region, and across Italy. The food is delicious and the service is friendly and attentive. Highly recommended!

We visited twice just to try some wines. The 4x sampler was great although not great value. Highly recommend anyway, as it's a great way to sample local wines

Great choice of wine, very good food in a cosy atmospere

The food had basic ingredients, but they combine for a nice tasting experience. The wine, dessert and coffee are good.
The location is really interesting and cool to be in without AC.

I’m so happy we found this Enoteca/ Winebar! Innovative winetasting, good food (we had lunch combined with winetasting) and friendly staff. Cool place.

We came to this place for 2 glasses of wine and cheese plate. The owner offered us perfect wine which we enjoyed (unfortunately I don't remember the name), plate of cheese and meat.

Excellent food and service. Very sympa and knowledgeable proprietor. Our go-to in Radda, thanks to @carliandco.

Un’ottima esperienza culinaria! Personale professionale, cortese e presente. Cucina della tradizione ma con piccoli spunti moderni che migliorano il gusto. Scelta di ottimi vini e prezzi nella media.

Abbiamo pranzato qui io e la mia ragazza e ci siamo trovati benissimo.
Antipasto: con terrina di fegatini pane tostato e gelatina al vin santo
Primo: pappardelle al ragù bianco d’anatra
Secondo: trippa alla fiorentina e fagioli

Abbiamo preso un acqua e 3 bicchieri di vino (chianti riserva 2016)

Locale molto caratteristico, al di sotto di un camminamento mediovale con atmosfera molto suggestiva. Ottima scelta di vini toscani e non, le pietanze offerte sono davvero buone. Il personale è gentile e preparato, si possono anche acquistare prodotti locali, prezzi sono nella media del posto e quindi un po' cari ma proporzionati alla qualità.
Molto consigliati i piatti di carne.
