Lo Scoglio

Can’t imagine I need to even review this restaurant with how world famous it already is, but we had a lovely lunch here. We did a boat day from capri with a stop here for lunch and it was a perfect day.

The pasta Nerano is as good as advertised. I started with marinated sardines which were fantastic as well, and the eggplant balls, also very good!

The yellow tomato sauce is rather sweet, and it usually comes with ravioli but you can (and should) request spaghetti instead of ravioli.

Huge restaurant inside but we sat on the dock which was nice.

We had this on our bucket list after Stanley Tucci’s recommendation for the zucchini pasta. It did not disappoint. Arguably the best pasta I have ever had. The food was exquisite. Service was wonderful and the atmosphere was beautiful. The scenery of the water and beach was stunning. Definitely worth coming here, was expensive to get to and from Positano but the pasta did not disappoint! If you’ve had this place on your bucket list for the famous zucchini pasta, please go! You will not be disappointed.

Had the most amazing time at Lo Scoglio during our honeymoon. The rooms, food, and staff were the best we have experienced and we cannot wait to come back. Beautiful breakfast every morning and exquisite food for every dinner. Favorite place we have ever stayed!

We went to the restaurant by boat. Welcome and service were warm and attentionate. Beautiful plates. Superb food (the crudo, the pasta, and an exceptional figs crostata…). Loved the whole experience

Such a special place - incredible and fresh food, wonderful wine selection, and most importantly, such thoughtful and attentive staff who welcome you to their table like family. Arrived by Vespa, spent the morning at the beach before a beautiful lunch - so lovely that we decided to come back and do the same the following day! Grazie mille, Santina, Antonia and the whole De Simone family! Highly recommend for any trip to the Amalfi coast.

Wonderful place for dinner! Family run restaurant with friendly staff and delicious food. It is also a beach club during the day and would have loved to experience that as well. Highly recommend.

The restaurant was exceptional! Local food and ingredients farm to table. Everything tasted incredible. The ravioli and the caprice salad were table favourites! The little fried shrimp were also amazing.

The restaurant’s location is amazing, loved the interior, warm welcoming, the fantastic wine selection and the food was very delicious.

Restaurant was wonderful. Fresh grouper for lunch. Caprese salad was one of the best I had in all of Italy. And the spot on the water was great. Don’t miss this place.

Having seen Stanley eat the zucchini spaghetti it was a highlight of our holiday to go have lunch here. It was fabulous, the venue - the view - the service - the food - the cocktails everything was magic

I enjoyed my dinner here a couple of nights ago. The service was great, the antipastos we all shared to start were amazing and had a seafood theme. My Nerano pasta was delicious. The ambiance here is very nice.

Lo Scoglio in Massa Lubrense is a culinary gem with truly amazing food. Every dish we tried was a burst of fresh, delightful flavors. The wine list is good but could benefit from a more extensive selection.

While the food was superb, the service could be improved. We found it to be slightly lacking in attentiveness, which, given the exceptional cuisine, could elevate the overall experience.

Nonetheless, Lo Scoglio remains a must-visit restaurant in Massa Lubrense for its outstanding food, and with a bit more attention to service, it could become truly exceptional.

We stayed at the hotel of Lo Scoglio as well as visited the restaurant for both lunch and dinner. First of all, our two night stay at the hotel was great! Our room was cute & the balcony was absolutely amazing. I highly recommend spending a night or two at the hotel. It’s nice because you always have a table at the restaurant if you are a guest as well as free sunchairs and umbrella for the beach. It was such a fun time!

As for the restaurant, we had two really nice meals. As expected our favorite meal was the spaghetti alla Nerano. Delicious. We also had a very good caprese and some very tasty fried shrimp. My wife did try the balsamic steak one night and it wasn’t a favorite & I had the spaghetti with lobster which was pricey, but good!

Overall, we had a great experience at Lo Scoglio and in the town of Marina del Cantone!

Big place with lots of seats and great views, on the side of the beach. Got octopus salad and pan of assorted vegetables for appetizers. Octopus was tender, not chewy at all. Vegetables are nice, some are bitter, some spicy. Gnocchi and Sea urchin pasta were flavorful and rich.

Favorite meal in Amalfi and capri combined. I loved it so much I canceled my plans rented another boat and went back there from capri to get one more meal in. Food is amazing and I especially love all the vegetables from their garden and of course the Nerano pasta and fresh fish!

As seen on television - only better!

My wife and I made the trip over to try out their pasta with zucchini and everything else, we thoroughly enjoyed it all!

We started with the mixed grilled vegetables as recommended elsewhere here, they were delicious!

Then onto zuppe d’cozze and mixed seafood. Also very good.

The piece de’resistance was the zucchini with pasta: creamy and cheesy, hot and filing.

Worth the trip!

The food was very good. Specifically, the pasta with sea urchin. The staff was very friendly and the atmosphere was amazing. Blvery beautiful setting on the water. Even on a hot day, it wasn't too bad as there was a nice breeze.
