PODERE SAN LORENZO - TUSCANY

My fiance and I could not have been happier with our stay at this B&B. We stayed for three nights in early June, and it was the perfect spot. Amazing views, comfortable apartment in the ancient, original (but renovated) villa, and the location is about a 3 or 4 minute drive from the center of Volterra. We stayed an extra night here because we loved it so much. The owner was accommodating and friendly. Breakfast was modest but delicious. They offer cooked-to-order eggs to those who want them in the morning. (Note: breakfast was not included, it was about 10 euro a person per day, but the convenience was worth it for us.) Ask the owner for local restaurant suggestions! She knows all the hidden gems.
If we go back to Volterra one day, we will stay here again.

This place is a hidden gem. My aunt and I came for 2 cooking classes with my daughters. They spoke English beautifully and the class was exceptional. The food was to die for and all freshly picked from their organic garden. Then we ate the meal, with of course their wine. We were in heaven. The best meals we ate all week in Tuscany. The view from this villa is beautiful, I will be returning to stay as it is really a hidden treasure.

We were here in September 2013 for our wedding engagement trip and absolutely loved it. The lodging, food, cooking classes and scenery were just simply perfect. We hope to get back there. Thx Marinella for a great experience.

It's a beautiful, tranquil area. The owners thoughtful, friendly and very helpful. An organic pool which is a great way to cool down. The whole house has history and beauty as does the surrounding area. Food is excellent too.

6 perfect days in Tuscano. Quiet, clean and friendly. Marinella is terrific and very kind. A perfect place to stay while seeing all of the hill towns.

We booked an Italian cookery class here for one afternoon/evening and it was wonderful! We made pasta from scratch, a main course of meet and dessert and ate it all afterwards with wine and other drinks included. You also get an apron and cookbook to take home with family recipes. Highly recommend!

Qui si trova un pezzetto di paradiso... ne sono sicura! È un luogo magico dove regna la pace e gli unici suoni sono quelli della natura che lo avvolge.
Il punto di forza di questo luogo è la semplicità, lontano da tutto ciò che è frenesia ed isteria quotidiana di città.
Proprietari e staff meravigliosi.
In ultimo, ma molto importante, i nostri amici a 4 zampe sono i benvenuti 🐾

Sehr nette Leute die das Podere führen. Traumhaftes Ambiente mit Olivenhainen und Naturpool. Allerdings sollte man mit PKW anreisen.

Luogo fantastico, tranquillità, vicinanza a luoghi interessanti. Proprietari veramente ospitalità e disponibili. Struttura incantevole

Wenn ich an die Toscana denke, ist das der Ort, der mir als erstes in den Sinn kommt. So absolut authentisch und perfekt.
