Villa Poggio Fibbia

Our family had the privilege of a recent stay at the beautiful and spacious Villa. We loved everything about our holiday there! The owners were gracious, friendly, and very helpful. The Villa is so comfortable and we quickly felt right at home there. The location is ideal - we were able to do many day trips (Siena, Pienza, Montalcino, etc.) and gladly return to our wonderful “home” each evening. We didn’t expect to fall in love with Radicofani like we did - but being in that small town with the Fortezza and its wonderful restaurants was a definite highlight of our trip. We hope to return to Tuscany someday and would love the return to Villa Poggio Fibbia!

Our family of 6 stayed at Villa Poggio in August/Sept 2022. We have rented many beautiful homes around the world and consider ourselves discerning- Villa Poggio is, for sure, one of the nicest we have ever stayed in and the experience can only be described as fabulous. The home is beautiful; the building is apparently very old but has been totally renovated with exquisite and artistic flair. The pool area and outdoor dining and lounging areas are delightful, very comfortable and have wonderful views. The home feels rural , that is part of the magic, and yet is a short walk to Radicofani which is a charming town with a choice of a few restaurants and cafes, and friendly Italians. Finally, I have to mention Luis and Paloma, the owners of Villa Poggio who met us when we came and when we left, offered us countless suggestions of what to do in the area and other pearls, and were a total pleasure to deal with. We will definitely be coming back!

We recently had a lovely stay at Villa Poggio Fibbia - the villa itself is beautiful with breathtaking views, it is well maintained and the bedrooms are very comfortable, bathroom are modern and amenities were provided. The owners were very helpful and had really good recommendations to explore the local and surrounding area. The village close by is really quaint. We would definitely visit again!

I stayed at Villa Poggio Fibbia with my kids, my husband and my parents. It was one of the most beautiful places we have stayed in and we would highly recommend it.

The villa itself is located on a hill overlooking the Val d'Orcia, just outside of the picturesque little town of Radicofani. The villa was beautiful: It is a perfectly restored and furnished with all of the modern comforts. Perfectly and tastefully decorated: each book was handpicked, there were fresh flowers in vases around the house, and even the frescos on the walls were painted by Paloma, one of the owners.

Luis and Paloma were also extremely helpful and generous hosts. They helped us arrange transportation for our large family, stocked our fridge and even helped us find an awesome parking in Florence (that we otherwise would not have found).

We had spent two memorable weeks here and when we look back at the trip, we will always remember the endless hours by the pool (with the awesome view of the nearby fortress), gazing out the windows looking at the sunset over the
Val d'Orcia, and many meals taken in the garden filled with lavender.

Thank you to Luis and Paloma for making this such a memorable family vacation. We hope to be back one day!

We just returned from Villa Poggio Fibbia - and I cannot recommend it more highly. The house and its interior are beautiful. The spot is magnificent!! On a hill, lovely breezes and an INCREDIBLE view. There are many spots on the grounds to sit and enjoy a meal and take in the view.

It is highly maintained and great service.

Our hosts, Luis and Paloma, are kind, interesting, devoted to service, and it doesn't hurt that they darn good looking! Clearly this place is their passion. Their Villa is an experience into their world of art, life, and love. The murals on the walls (done by Paloma) give one a real sense of place and demonstrate that staying there is staying some place special.

Radicofani itself is magical. From the local grocery, restaurants, shops, and especially hanging out on the steps of St. Peter's Church in the evening, after dinner, with local folks - people could not be more kind. And all walkable from the Villa.

The Fortress is a must-do afternoon, if just for the view and the woman at the ticket booth who is a hoot. The restaurant - Ristorante La Fortezza - is incredible.

Finally, it is a great spot from which to take day trips to local sites such as Siena, Montepulciano, and so many other great spots.

If you visit and like to drive, I highly suggest renting a manual! The roads are TOO much FUN!

All in all, I cannot recommend this Villa more highly. Our stay there is a memory I and my family will have for our life time.

Vall d'Orcia is the most beautiful county in Tuscany and Villapoggiofibbia is definitely the best place to stay there.

It is a marvellous house , recently refurnished , decorated with the highest standards and the best style.
Every corner, room or wall painting has a unique and charming taste. In addition , the garden, terrace, and swimming pool enhance the stay in Villapoggiofibbia making it a remarkable experience.

Not only do both owners, Luis and Paloma have a hight attention to detail, but they ensure a wonderful stay by providing suggestions and ideas to visit the best towns, places and restaurants in Tuscanny.

Our family enjoyed every minute of the week we stayed  in this incredible villa, and the moment we left we were aware of our excitement to come back as soon as possible!

My family and I just returned from a magical trip to Tuscany and an amazing stay at Villa Poggio Fibbia. Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted by the owners and welcomed into the beautifully decorated, newly-renovated villa. We immediately felt right at home. My children dove into the pool within minutes of our arrival. The villa is surrounded by breathtaking views and provided the perfect Tuscan experience for my family. The house is centrally located so it was easy to explore many of the gorgeous Tuscan towns. The charming town of Radicofani, which is only a mile from the villa, is ideal for walking around, shopping and dining. And...the Fortezza Di Radicofani has one of the best restaurants and prettiest views we have ever seen. Villa Poggio Fibbia truly became our home during our stay and we look forward to returning.

Villa Poggio Fibbia is a beautiful, large, secluded, spacious, first class, well furnished villa in the Val d’Orcia region of Tuscany, Italy. The owners are wonderful people and very welcoming and supportive of your time in their villa. The villa is just outside the charming village of Radicofani with very nice people and excellent eating establishments. The villa is very comfortable and perfect for 2-4 couples or a large family. It’s location is excellent to visit central Italy. We love Villa Poggio Fibbia and highly recommend it to anyone wanting to visit the southern part of Tuscany.

Our stay at Poggio Fibbia and visit to Radicofani was magical! The villa well exceeded all of our expectations. The floor plan, the setting, the furnishings...everything was superb! And on top of all of this, Luis and Paloma were the most gracious hosts who welcomed us warmly upon arrival and kindly bid farewell as we departed for Texas. I would definitely recommend to family and friends to stay at Poggio Fibbia and we hope to return again to this beautiful corner of Italy!

The owners of this incredibly beautiful villa with view to the Val d’ Orcia and the Fortezza of Radicofani, made this one of the most amazing places to stay. The location and views are spectacular. Every details was taken care of upon our arrival. They were able to get a fantastic cook for our first night who prepared for us the most delicious Tuscan specialties. The location of the Villa makes it super easy to reach so many wonderful places around. The owners eere always open to give suggestions as where to go and where to eat around the are. IIt was just a memorable time, one of our best vacations ever!

This house left me SPEECHLESS! The decoration is simply marvellous: the bedrooms with frescos on the walls, the most beautiful and big bathrooms with splendid view to the mountains... everything was down to every detail. I strongly recommend this Villa if you want to spend some amazing days in Tuscany!

This is a dream villa situated in a privileged area of Tuscany: the Val d'Orcia. After visiting Florence, Siena, Montepulciano, and so many other famous places around, the return to Villa Poggio Fibbia is always like a gift from Jupiter. If I were an Etruscan king, this villa would be my palace (a palace with all the facilities of the 21st century: wifi, heating, A/C, superb swimming pool, tv...). The frescoes that decorate its living rooms, bedrooms and even bathrooms are masterpieces. The garden and the views are simply spectacular. The beautiful village of Radicofani is a short walk away. To sum up my opinion about this place: the best Italian experience I have ever had in my life.

Villa Poggio Fibbia est un lieu magique: une maison magnifiquement rénovée et décorée, un emplacement parfait au milieu des champs, en haut d’une colline et tout près du merveilleux village de Radicofani, et un couple de propriétaires absolument charmants et pleins de délicates attentions à l’égard de leurs hôtes. Hemos pasado unos días inolvidables en esta espectacular villa situada junto al pueblo de Radicofani. La ubicación es impresionante con grandes vistas a los paisajes toscanos y la decoración de la casa, con impresionantes frescos pintados por la propietaria, ideal. La magia de la Toscana se multiplica en sitios tan acogedores y auténticos como Villa Poggio Fibbia!!

Alojamiento incomparable que ha enriquecido nuestra visita a la Toscana. La villa está esquisitamente decorada por sus propietarios, valoro también la magnífica piscina, el ajardinamiento, el porche,...,todo muy cuidado. La localización es muy buena con vistas panorámicas a todo El Valle D’orcia. Absolutamente recomendable. Volveré.

Estupenda estancia en lugar perfecto para visitar la Toscana y descansar. Los anfitriones encantadores, te hacen sentir como en tu propia casa. Experiencia inolvidable. Volveremos.
