Agriturismo La Selvella

Only good things to say about la Selvella. Marina and her team were kind and very accommodating. They went above and beyond to make sure our stay was comfortable and that we were able to experience Tuscany like a local. They had excellent recommendations for food, wine and cheese, as well as local experiences on and off their farm. I highly recommend booking dinner and taking a cooking class during your stay, as both were excellent and great value!

The owners are amazing.

This agriturismo is well positioned - quiet, peaceful location, with a fantastic outlook. The rooms are amazingly well appointed. The shower is the best we’ve had in a month in Italy. The bed is wonderfully comfortable. You want for nothing in this 3 room apartment.

Dinner is at 8. A lovely selection of wine. And the food is superb. The starters, primi, secondi (the wild boar was divine) and dolce - mmmm!

The owners/staff are very friendly and helpful - nothing is too much trouble. It’s so nice to see a family run business with initiative and can do - giving things a go. Bravo!

Very pleased we stayed - the pets (rescue dogs, donkeys, Shetland pony) are all icing on the cake.

PS - I did this review before breakfast. Omg breakfast was amazing - freshly blood orange juice, fresh honey comb, fresh ricotta - plus all the usual breakfast delights - served on a terrace outside. Just magic !!

Excellence in all Details. With love and Passion in everything the owners do. Great food, nice communication. Nature is respected in best way. Worth staying there even in very bad weather!

This was my 3rd time to come back to La Selvella. My husband and kids have such an incredible time every time we come to Selvella. The place is beautiful, clean and very welcoming. The meals are always outstanding. The staff is incredible. They put so much love and care into their property and their passion is obvious.

We will be back for sure!

P.S. I've led 2 yoga retreats at La Selvella with about 20 people in attendance. Everyone loved it.

A once a lifetime holiday was pure perfection at this location! Beyond gorgeous and the menu/food was delicious, local, and scrumptious! Cooking class was top notch and turns out one of my absolute favorite meals! Marina is courageous, kind, and a wonderful hostess! I will be back for sure!

We had the pleasure of staying at a stunning farm located at the top of Val del Orcia in Tuscany, and it was an unforgettable experience. The picturesque surroundings, mesmerizing views, and delicious homemade food created a truly magical stay. From the moment we arrived, the warm and attentive service made us feel like cherished guests. Interacting with the farm animals added an extra layer of charm. As a couple, our two-night stay was a wonderful escape, and we only wished we could have stayed longer. For an idyllic Tuscan vacation, this farm is an absolute must-visit!

What a great place! The service, the amazing food, the farm, the fresh products, the relaxing pool and helpful and kind staff made this a fantastic stay for my family and I. I would definitely recommend!!! And plan to eat dinner there every night, it's delicious!!!

A wonderful and serene olive orchard and herb farm in a beautiful hills of Central Tuscany. My family of six is living our stay here and our four kids can not have enough of it. Marina and Max are gracious hosts and the food was amazing. Highly recommended. An experience and memory of a life time for our family.

We had the perfect stay at Agriturismo Selvella. We stayed in one of the apartments, and loved the ability to do some of our own cooking with some of the local products- many of them grown/raised on site! Marina was the best hostess; she was quick to answer any questions, gave us an in depth tour of the farm, made us several delicious meals, and even gave us insight into some of the locals-only hot springs and wineries. We stayed for a week, but could have stayed for months, and will definitely be back. Thank you, Marina, for the perfect Tuscany holiday. ☺

The room was perfect - and one of the rare places that had the bathroom heater working which we needed to dry our clothes (we are walking the VF). Staff accomodating, fire great, waiter a delight and food plentiful, healthy and tasty.

A wonderful property. The owners were very welcoming. Our meals were served outside on the patio, dinner was family-style. The pool was so refreshing. A great place to stay while you make day trips around Tuscany. We had our own little cottage, just wonderful.

What can I say, this place is magical, a hidden gem! We simply loved everything about it, the location, the food, the people all together made for a lovely and really fun stay. Marina was an excellent host and Ambra was always willing to help out with directions and suggestions. We loved Mario, always kind and solicitous. I woke up every morning to a beautiful view out my windows and felt like singing " the hills are alive with the sound of music"!

A truly wonderful place. Marina and her staff are delightful. The farm is beautiful and interesting, and cared for very well. There are many animals in a "teaching farm" setting, plus a permaculture vegetable garden. The apartments are spotless and lovely. The pool is huge and delightful. Best of all are the breakfasts and dinners served in the main courtyard, under a huge tree, stretching into the long evenings, as the sun slowly sets over the hills and valleys. A little slice of heaven. We visited with young children and had a fabulous time. The nearby town of Radicofani is also a treasure.

A wonderful Agriturismo on the hills of Val D'Orcia, run by some of the kindest hosts you could meet. Get a dinner with their own or other local products, enjoy their small farm and animals, enjoy the swimming pool, and the sunset on the hills. Use it as a base for exploring the close by villages and cities...

Amazingly cute place to stay. The place is a lot bigger than expected and has a great variety of animals to play with. Host is amazing and breakfast was good. I will definitely come back if I am in the region
