Tenuta delle Terre Nere Winery

Excellent winery and tour/tasting experience! We had three members of our party not make it/unable to drink, and the kind staff gifted us a couple of bottles to go since our tasting fee was unused. Really excellent service.

The tour was great. Our guide was knowledgeable and passionate about the wine and vineyards. I'll be looking for these wines when I'm back in NJ/NY.

Fantastic wines! Great owner - a must visit!

Just fabulous: we booked a tasting in advance, turned up to the winery, then were taken to their vineyards (located on volcanic soils, great for photos of the area) and told all about the history of Sicilian wine-making, about the varieties of grapes and about their company. After that we were taken to the business itself, shown around, and then got 6 generous helpings of delicious wines to sample. We bought 2 bottles, but we'd have bought more if we hadn't been worried about our luggage weight... A huge thanks to the lovely and extremely knowledgeable gentleman who showed us around! If we go to Randazzo again, we'll drop by once more!

Our visit was the highlight of our Etna wine tasting adventure, and was one of the most attentive and detailed winery visits I have ever enjoyed. We booked a few days in advance. When we arrived we took a tour of key areas of the vineyards by car while learning about the terroir. We then toured the wine production and cellaring facilities, which was particulalry pleasant during our visit because they were transferring wines from barrels for bottling. The smell of wine permeated the entire facility and was intoxicating (figuratively, of course). We then sampled six wines which are easily among the best of all the ones we sampled in Sicily. We bought two bottles on the spot that we couldn't live without, and we also got the importer information for our part of the US so we can buy at home. I cannot recommend a visit to this winery highly enough for wine enthusiasts!

Great place for those who want to understand and experience differences in terroir, cru and vintages. Skip the whites - put all your time in Terre Nere red ones ! :)

Tenuta delle Terre nere produce alcune delle migliori bottiglie che possono essere apprezzate in questo magnifico territorio. Inoltre la vista e la natura magnificano ancor di più questa realtà a cospetto di sua maestà Etna.

Scoperta lo scorso anno andando all'Alcantara è diventata u a delle ns cantine vinicole di riferimento. Ottimo vino sia rosso che bianco prodotti con viti autoctone. Vigneti impiantati sulle lave del maestoso Etna.

Воскресенье. Проезжали мимо и решили посетить. Как оказалось, воскресенье выходной. Нас встретил хозяин и любезно рассказал нам о этом месте. Открыл магазин и, по его рекомендациям мы приобрели несколько бутылок ПРЕВОСХОДНОГО вина. Отличное место. Рекомендую.

Questo posto mi mette una pace infinita. Abbiamo fatto un tour ed assaporato i loro ottimi prodotti. Il tutto, con grazia e ospitalità davvero unici come i loro vini.
