Ristorante Bar Nettuno

We came to Ristorante Bar Nettuno for the first time for a special occasion mainly because of the great views of the sea and the romantic appeal. We were then blown away to learn that this restaurant is much more about the food than just sitting at a nice panoramic view! The food was by far the best I had in Sicily! Everything was as fresh as it can be and prepared with love and care for perfection! We ended up returning multiple times after that as no other restaurant would have satisfied us as much as this one! The owner was extremely friendly and made sure we always had the best table facing the sea! As Sicily is often on our agenda, Bar Nettuno will definitely be our go to place for our lunches and dinners! We highly recommend and am sure you will not be disappointed!

We had a wonderful meal at Nettuno. The view is breathtaking at sunset, the service is layed-back but attentive and the food is delicious. We had the clam and seafood pasta and both were one of the best we ever ate. It’s very romantic and not too expensive for the quality and location. Surely one of the best options in Scopello. 😊

Amazing restaurant with beautiful tables overlooking the ocean. The view is stunning, the personnel is super friendly, competent and most of them speak English quite well. The only exception is a young waiter who seemed more bothered by his customers than welcoming but he is really the only one.
The food was fantastic, we had the seafood pasta and the tuna steak and both were perfect. The deserts were also great and best of all are the prices which are more than fair for what you get. I can highly recommend!

One of the best meals we have had in Sicily over the 3 weeks we have been traveling.

Good service and pasta. Had to wait for 15 min. If you are there for lunch and are lucky, you can sit on their terrace with a nice view. Their tuna tartare is simple but super good. Their desserts looked really good but we were too full unfortunately. Drank a cappuccino instead which was excellent.

Everything was tasty, fresh fish, and the lemon pesto is amazing!

Best Sardine in Sicily so far, very fresh raw seafood starter. The waiter was the best, invited us in like we were family we had a time limited as we didn’t have a booking - we have booked a table for tomorrow night

Lovely staff and food was out of this world. The tuna steaks were amazing and the mixed starter of raw / cooked fish had some truly unique flavours. Simple fish food done really well!

5/5 this place was the best pasta I have ever eaten in my LIFE! Red prawn and pistachios, highly recommend!! The organic red wine is beautiful too. Stunning views and friendly and attentive staff. Would recommend this place to anyone going to Scopello.

Oh my! Best food we had in Sicily. Customer service exception! Beautiful organic wines! The seafood pasta was breathtaking views. I could not recommend this more we had an outstanding experience.

We got a table in the terrace with an AMAZING view. The tuna tartar was one of the bests that I have ever tried. They have gluten free pasta upon request. All perfect, one of the best restaurants of my Sicily trip.

Bar nettuno was truly an unforgettable experience. We arrived just before dinner service started and got the best seat in the house for the view of the sunset, mountains and sea. We started with some drinks and were incredibly pleased with the Bellini and the Nettuno cocktail. Drinks were served with chips which made us QUICK friends with the local kitties 😻😻

For dinner we started off with the most generous serving of tuna tartare that melted in your mouth. We did add EVOO & S&P but even plain it was very good quality fish. the busiante with shrimp & pistachio may be the best pasta dish I’ve ever eaten. We also got the linguine with clams which was very tasty (but impossible to compare to the first dish)

For probably the first time in history I was much too full for dessert, but I will mark this as a MUST visit for any of my friends visiting Sicily in the future.

So good we are there twice! We stopped in for lunch upon arriving in Scopello. We were seated immediately at the best seat in the house overlooking the sea. It was perfect and gorgeous. We came back for dinner and were seated in the courtyard area. Delicious and would recommend having a meal or two when you are in town.

We went twice to Nottune. First time, we had drinks and sandwiches, both were very good and service was excellent. The second time we went for a late lunch and sat on their beautiful panoramoc patio. The menu was all in italian, and the super-friendly waiter took time to translate the whole menu in great detail so we could order appropriately. We went for the fresh delicious tuna to share as the waiter recommended, and it was amazing! For the main course we had seafood pasta which was even better! One of the best dining experiences we had in Sicily.

From my personal experience this is the best place where to have a great meal and enjoy a beautiful view around here in Scopello, Sicily.

I had the best sea urchins pasta of my life so far... the view outside is literally breathtaking.

If you are around here definitely give this place a try, you won't regret it!
