Orrido di Nesso

Beyond beautiful falls in the heart of this cute village, there is free parking nearby. Beware, the actual old bridge is far away from the google point Orrido di Nesso meaning that once you get to that point then you gotta go down 1/2 km by steep stone stairs that takes you to the lower older bridge. It’s easy to go down…not so much to go back up, but it’s worth it, we did it with put toddler

Small pretty village. Be prepared to walk down and back up about 1/2km of wide steps. Totally worth the effort. Small bar at top serves good quality gelato, cold beers and soft drink and has great view from inside. Parking problematic as few places available.

Amazing calm location, away from the big super crowded famous como lake spots like como, bellagio, lecco, etc.
Close to nature , wonderful trip to get there and listen to the sound of water, to the waterfall. If you go off season it is also easy to find a parking space otherwise you should walk a little bit more as the streets are really narrow or you can also take the bus if you don't want to get in trouble. Definitely recommend it.

Parking is free (max 2 hours) and a stairway takes you down to the lake side where the bridge is. Beautiful place for a swim too!

Great way to spend an afternoon on Lake Como! A lot of steps to the water but worth the trip!

A stop worth making on your way to or from Bellagio.in our experience it was just a stop. For the road bridge you go down the stairs. Be prepared. Yours legs are grow stronger after this. Once you get to the Lakeside there is a spot with perfect view of the waterfall.

A must see by the lake of Como. If by chance you have several days here, dedicate one full day or at least a half day here to swim, relax, chill, especially in warmer seasons! Diving and swimming and approaching to the waterfall is really something you shouldn't miss!

We had no clue this area was here. We came upon it by chance as we headed down the LONG length of stairs to catch the ferry. Luckily— we misread the schedule and got to spend some time taking great pictures and feeding the ducks.

Beautiful small town on lake Como. Amazing water, stunning waterfall, drinkable water. Small pearl.
Be ready for all the stairs.

I like this place. This town is not as big as the other towns around. This place in this town is the main reason people come to this town, It is the only thing to visit here.
We followed google maps but we could not find it easily. You should stop in the ice cream shop near the bridge and park the car around there. You can go down on the left until finding the junction like tunnel then you will find the place. Some people go to swim here.

Well. the climbing back by the all steep stairs is challenging but worth the view of the waterfall in Nesso. Recommend to visit.

Be aware that Nesso is not for strollers 🤣 only stairs!

Beautiful waterfall. I recommend a walk up the stairs and through the residential area to reach different parts of the Nesso. I couldnt find the cave, a local said there was a cave near but I couldnt get down.

Cozy and nice small place, located on the road heading to Bellagio from Como. We did a short stop to take photos of the Nesso waterfall

Like a fairytale! Worth the sooo many stairs! I managed to go up the stairs during mid-pregnancy, with many small breaks..

Quiet, nice and it is totally worth to get there.
