Hotel Belvedere

We just returned from a trip to Italy and our stay here in Bellagio secured that we will be back.

Our room which overlooked the garden, had the most breathtaking views.

Our balcony and room were very comfortable.

We enjoyed the pool food options.

Just a short walk to the little town made this hotel very convenient.

We had a 6:00am pick up and they actually had bags of breakfast food ready for us when we came to the lobby! Can’t wait to go back!

So many amazing things to say about Belvedere! The place to be in all of Como is Bellagio, and the Belvedere is spectacular.

The location is perfect. Centrally located just off the lake and near amazing shops and restaurants with fairytale-like views. All of the staff friendly and attentive. We visited for my birthday and they went above and beyond to make it special! The staff also keep the property and rooms meticulously clean.

Hotel restaurant also great. The breakfast that is included is fresh and with great, healthy choices (fresh fruit, coffee, dairy-free milk, yogurt, etc.). We ate at the restaurant for dinner one night and it was also awesome.

The spa is awesome! Sauna, steam room, massage services, etc.. We visited in April and there was good availability. The gym is great with brand new equipment overlooking the lake.

One of the best hotels ever!

We loved our stay at the hotel. It is conveniently located a few minutes away from the downtown area with many stores and restaurants. The staff is welcoming and friendly. Our suite was spacious, comfortable, clean, and had a beautiful view of Lago di Como. The hotel is kid friendly and has a nice pool facing the lake. The breakfast buffet had a variety of food options that were delicious. La Terrazza restaurant was also excellent.

100,000% would stay here again. I'm not sure why it is not classified as a 5-star hotel on Google but this place was the absolute best. Customer service was phenomenal, especially considering my experience at other locations. The lake views from my room, the pool, the restaurant were superior. It is facing the quiet side of the town so you don't feel or hear any of the touristy side of Bellagio while you're at the hotel but it is still a quick walk to all of the restaurants and shops of the town. The amenities at the hotel were so good I had to talk myself to leave and go explore the town. From the time I first called to get a shuttle from the ferry dock to the time I departed when they arranged a ride to Milan for me, it was phenomenal. Don't hesitate to stay here. You won't regret it.

I would 1000% recommend staying here to anyone visiting Lake Como. This was our first trip to Italy on our honeymoon and staying here was a highlight for us. The staff was so incredible, kind, and helpful. They even surprised us with a card, treats, and prosecco in our room upon arrival. We stayed in a garden superior room and it was gorgeous, spacious, and clean and I always looked forward to coming back after our adventures. Our room was tucked away in a little cottage separate from the main hotel and we loved the privacy. Every view in the hotel was amazing and the view from our room was to die for. I highly recommend staying here and I would love to come back again!

We had the room with large terrace overlooking the lake. The room was quite small but very nice. The terrace fantastic. The restaurant was very good . On the evening the ‘ menu of the day’ option is not available so a bit more cost than we would have liked but the food and service justified the cost. Probably the best on the island.

I’ve stayed in plenty of 5 star hotels, and this one is far closer to being that than an ‘ordinary’ four star.

My partner and I stayed in one of the suites, which was expensive but felt about right for the area and the quality. Bed was superb, bathroom was well finished and well stocked. The living room was comfortable with enough space for our clothes and luggage.

We didn’t sample dinner, choosing to go down to Bellagio town, although even in this our concierge was excellent, made recommendations for us and then offered to call and book, which we gladly took them up on given our limited Italian.

Breakfast was delicious, every member of staff was flawlessly polite, helpful and friendly throughout our stay, and we will absolutely be returning again.

It wouldn’t at all surprise me to find that in future this hotel is reevaluated to a 5 star, I’m sure they’re very close to it.

Wow! What an incredible experience! This hotel is beautiful in the incredible views, the fantastic rooms, and the above and beyond service! This is the only choice of hotel if you want a luxury experience in Bellagio. It’s close to the center of town yet still has a private feel. The food, from breakfast, to aperitivo, and dinner, were fantastic. And the free spa was PERFECT for a rainy day of your trip!

My partner and I were looking for an escape from the cold on a cold Comp day. We found Hotel Belvedere Spa. While we were not staying at the hotel, Spa Treatments and access to the Spa facilities are bookable by visitors. We had a wonderful massage, followed by two hours access to the Salt Room, Ice Room, Steam Room, Sauna, and relaxing and shower areas. The staff were attentive but let us to it. And the whole experience was booked via email on the same day, promptly and friendly.

We noticed a “Special” accommodation package on their website which included Spa treatments, and had we not been already booked somewhere else for our Como stay, we would have made a night of it - as with the spa access and treatments included in that special, it would have been a fantastic price and experience.

Our favorite hotel we’ve ever stayed at. We were in Como looking for wedding venues and we would absolutely stay here again - staff was incredibly helpful, the included spa amenities were great after a long day of walking and touring.

The views were breathtaking.

This place is very underrated don’t let the 4 star rating fool you . It’s definitely A 5 star. The Service are the start was impeccable And the food was just on point. Really surprised me, it was better than any other 5 start hotel I have stayed at. Overall score 10/10

Highly recommend staying at Hotel Belvedere. Even though it was rainy, we had a beautiful view from everywhere in the hotel. The breakfast was great, the employees were always so kind and helpful, and the room was absolutely amazing. The location made it easy to get to everything in Bellagio.

This is the probably the best hotel we have stayed in. We booked Superior Room with lake view and the views from the room were just WOW. The staff and the service were very friendly and to the perfection. Also, I would highly recommend to try their restaurant. We had the best Focaccia.

We stayed here as part of our honeymoon road trip last year and the whole experience was wonderful. A warm and friendly greeting kicked our stay off and although our room wasn’t ready (we were early) our bags were taken and we were shown around the pool area and given a temporary number to put food and drinks on. The room was clean, comfortable and well appointed with a great view of the lake, including a balcony to enjoy the view from.
Breakfast was fantastic, a great selection and hot options to choose from in addition to the vast buffet. Staff were helpful, friendly and we really enjoyed our stay. The pool is lovely with great views over the lake.
The restaurant was great, we chose to eat out on the balcony to savour the view, we will definitely be back!

One of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed. The staff was incredible. They take so much pride in their work and care that you have a nice time from start to finish. The head service manager, Andreas C. was on an entire new level of client care. An absolute joy! He shared with us details of the hotel and showed an original photo. This hotel has been in the same family for 6 generations which started as and remains women-owned! He was so proud to be apart of and represent this stellar hotel. I cannot recommend this hotel enough. Apart from the staff, my favorites of this stay was the breathtaking views, the amazing shower and the comfortable bed (pillows, linen, and mattress all wonderful). We are never staying anywhere else. Thank you for the incredible experience!

This is truly the best Hotel stay decision in Italy and lake como. It’s a bit expensive but it worth every penny I paid. The staff is naturally nice, lovely and helpful. The management is taking well care of the facility. We loved the Jacuzzi specially that the weather was cold but the pool was warm and there was a storm coming and a little but of rain breeze. The only thing that was not working during our stay was the AC but we couldn’t complain and just opened the window to enjoy the nice cold weather.

Exceeds expectations for customer service! The staff was always quick and attentive, both in email communication prior to our trip and during our stay. We stayed in one of their private apartments and had incredible room service on a stormy evening inside. The lobby bar is open late for a nightcap, the breakfast and views are top notch. Looking forward to my return to the Belvedere.

We stayed here for our honeymoon. Everything was absolutely phenomenal. I cannot recommend Hotel Belvedere enough! Every single staff member was super kind, helpful, and accommodating. The little touches were so appreciated - water bottles waiting for us in our hotel room, helping bring our luggage to the room, breakfast options that were dairy free and for vegans, arranging to-go breakfasts for us because we had to leave super early on our last day, arranging a private driver for us when we left, etc. The hotel and rooms were super clean and nice. It was very quiet during the night which was amazing - the hotel has doors at the end of each hall that the staff close at night so you cannot hear anything in the lobby - this was a really awesome touch. The amenities were also incredible - super nice gym too! The poolside bar made delicious cocktails. The location is superb, only 7 min walk to Bellagio center. Views are out of this world. I also had many questions prior to our arrival, and the staff at Hotel Belvedere were very quick to respond to all of my emails and just so wonderful and easy to work with. They made our honeymoon so special and we will definitely be returning!

The suite was very spacious and modern. The view from the balcony was extraordinary! All of the staff were wonderful! The included breakfast was nice. If you are looking for genuine Italian food, I don't recommend the restaurant for dinner. The nouveau artsy cuisine was fussy and not what we had in mind. Overall, our stay was excellent.

Amazing hotel, staff, location, and service. I booked two rooms, one lakefront and one garden front, both were outstanding. Shuttles available from ferry to hotel and return. Views of the lake were jaw dropping. Air conditioning was awesome in July. Beds super comfortable, every amenity provided. 2 min walk to all shopping in Bellagio, all flat streets. Mario, the front desk manager, was FANTASTIC as was our porter and shuttle driver. When we go back to Bellagio, no doubt we are staying here.
