Jefferson is the vest host for your authentic tuscanic dinner! He explained with a smile about every dish in fluent English. The food and ambiance were outstanding! We had the best time in his place.

Amazing hospitality by the humble and friendly owner.
Truffle mozzarella toast is awesomeness to fill our tummy as a starter.
The pasta with pork is sooo good and hearty as well. Lasagne with truffle is kind of plain but filling enough. End of the dinner with a limoncello on the house is a bonus. Definitely recommend this restaurant.

We have enjoyed eating here a few times. Always the most tasty dishes. Love walking in and saying "Jefferson, please feed us."
When you notice that this is where the lemo and you bus drivers like to hang, something good is happening here.

We arrived late to Pienza after travel cancellations and delays. We were very hungry and disappointed to find almost all the restaurants surrounding our hotel closed. Luckily, we walked a few extra minutes and found this restaurant. We were welcomed by the hospitable owner and enjoyed some truffle bruschetta and pici. All made with local ingredients. We finished the night sharing photos of our cats and sipping limoncello. It really turned our night around.

Really nice restaurant with fantastic pasta. The staff was really friendly and provided good service. The garden is beautiful to enjoy your food.

As soon as we arrived in Pienza we stopped in this trattoria and tasted some excellent "pici" as well as other confectionary specialties of the area: thanks to the owner for his great hospitality. Recommended for everyone but also for bikers like us !!!

We didn't know how to read local food, but the hospitable owner walked us through his menu. The place was not too crowded, but very cozy. The food was great, even our kids were glad as well, and the tiramisu with Bailey's was deadly delicious. Definitely worth recommending :-)

What a great find. Great food and an incredible host with Jefferson. It’s like eating at an Italian family’s kitchen table. An absolute gem!

To everyone complaining about the price, in a touristic area with inflation, we still think it was worth it.
5 stars because we were welcomed, even thought it was close to closing time, the chef/boss made us some delicious Pici (pasta), some antipasti as well, he didn't have everything available, but hey - we got dinner close to 11pm and it was delicious.

We also got some fun conversation and recommendations. ;-)

We paid 55 Euros for 1x starter/antipasti, 2x pasta, water, coke and wine as well as 2x espresso. 22,50 Euro per person was absolutely fair for the experience we got 👏 😉

This place is great! Food is really good (my wife had the pici cacio e Pepe, which she says is the best she’s ever had, and she always orders it ). The chef is a charming guy who speaks excellent English. His daughter (age 9) sat us and took our drink order. Highly recommended

If you are looking for a local cuisine, nice and quite place but with friendly atmosphere, this is the right place. Really had a great time there and tasty dinner.

Great place to enjoy genuine Tuscan dishes. We appreciated their flexibility since we arrived passed lunch time but they welcomed us and offered anything on the menu. Food was fantastic and the location is just perfect, the biergarten is wonderful.

Great hospitality from the owners , they make you feel very welcome. The food was very yummy! I would recommend to anyone in the area .

Perfect place with good food. It’s worth the price and then some. Great Tuscan food and ambiance. And parking is available. Trying to score a place like this in the center of Pienza is too difficult.
