Caffè della Volpe

We stumbled upon this beautiful restaurant while stopping in Pienza for a quick lunch break from driving. Several of the other cafes were closed due to siestas, but we kept walking around the town off of the beaten path from the tourist areas and boy are we glad we did! The atmosphere is truly how I pictured Italian cafes to look with beautiful flowers outside under awnings and cute little tables and chairs outside. The host was so friendly and helpful as our Italian was not that great. The food was so great as well, we had the bruschetta, pasta, and wine at a very reasonable price. For dessert we had one of the crepes which was so worth every penny! We highly recommend seeking out this restaurant if ever in the area!

For years we were visiting Caffe della Volpe. Service is great, location is scenic, food is great ,the owner is very nice.

Locale interno molto piccolo, ma all'esterno molto caratteristico dove è ubicato. Buona la colazione ed economica

If you want to be poorly attended this is the right place, the owner was extremely rude and grumpy with my family. I do not recommend it in nay case, there's a lot of better places around with much better service.
