Sperone Nudo

My wife and I just finished eating dinner here… it is wonderful. We have had the pleasure of dining at many places throughout Pienza and this was probably the perfect place to spend our last meal. I had the Tuscan sausages and beans in tomato sauce… it was so delicious, the tomato sauce w/ the beans was not to heavy and really accentuated the amazing flavor of the Tuscan sausages. My wife had the Homemade tagliatelle w/ Tuscan black Truffle. It was phenomenal, there was the perfect amount of truffle w/ every bite. If you have the pleasure of visiting Pienza, make this a “must do” as you will not be disappointed.

It may look like your average little Italien restaurant, but Sperone Nudo is anything but!
I wandered in with my wife on a Friday night, and was immediately greeted by the friendly staff.
The restaurant was filling up quickly but we managed to snag a table.
We ordered the pecorino fondue with truffle and the grilled steak with artichoke to share.
The pecorino fondue was a little bomb of cheesy goodness, and the truffle was tasty but not overpowering.
When our steak arrived , our expectations continued to be exceeded. The steak was on the point and the artichoke fresh and crisp.
At the end we had a dream of pistachio as a dessert and we were planning our next visit.

My wife and I popped in for lunch whilst on our honeymoon in Tuscany. Sperone Nudo was Incredible! Some of the best food we have had this trip, the truffle tagliatelle was just beautiful.

Already trying to figure if we can go again at some point while we are here… in fact we might just go again this evening.

Great service too from really friendly staff.

Tuscany holds us in an embrace and Seprone Nudo as well :) As during our bicycle trip we realized that we were close to Pinza - the choice of a restaurant for dinner was obvious. Once again - Great restaurant team, thank you very much, it is an unforgettable pleasure to come back to you.

I am a well-seasoned traveler and have spent months all across Italy. I came to Pienza for the first time this year, excited to visit Sette Di Vino because I hear they serve wonderful soup. This afternoon, we went for lunch and Sette Di Vino was closed. However, my husband and I could smell the aroma of a wonderful soup nearby and realized it was coming from Sperone Nudo. We walked across courtyard to this restaurant and had what I would describe as the greatest bowl of soup I have ever had in my life. The restaurant is clean, extremely well managed and the service was wonderful. I plan on returning to Pienza again and THIS will be the restaurant I prefer as my #1 choice.

Just off the main square this small and unassumjng restaurant offers great pasta dishes with fair prices and great wines.
It is in its own little square so can provide some pleasant respite from the crowds.

Great ambiance , sit inside for best experience , waiter speaks English , must try amazing pumpkin / ricotta lasagna!!! , would highly recommend to anyone visiting Pienza Italy

Every time we visit Pienza we always stop in for lunch or dinner and every time we leave so happy to have stopped in. Plus, the owner is a fabulous person and has the creme de la creme staff who work along side of him. If I could give this little gem a 10 star I would.

Myself and my friend both had Pici Cacio e Pepe e pistacchio (Homemade spaghetti with pecorino cheeses, black pepper and Pistachio). It could not have been better, absolutely delicious and a local speciality. Lovely little restaurant with great service.

This restaurant was the highlight of our trip around Italy. No frills, just GREAT food. Everyone in our party of 5 loved their meals. We visited for both lunch and dinner on the same day because it was so good. Thank you 10/10

Something special is as best as I can go without breaking out in a sweat for another go.
Really really good, tasty, great portions beautiful presentation, and the tiny place seats about 20 inside a super nice place.
This is a good one… a really good one!

Once again it was a spectacular meal! We have tried at least half of the dishes and all were delicious. Our favorite is the spaghetti bolognese for lunch and the tiramisu for dessert. Great staff, great service. We highly recommend this restaurant.

It was amazing experience! The food was delicious! We ate tagiatelle with trufles and tartare beef and at the end pistachiomiso. Oh, what a feast! That way we came back here today. We ate chees płatne and t-bone steak with spinachi. So wow was everything! And The service was excxelent! Thank you so much, wehighy recomend!

Very nice place when sitting in the courtyard. Food was very good and reasonably priced. The experience was overall recommendable.

Truffle pasta and cheese fondue are so delicious! Their service is great too! Don’t know why they got only 4.2 rated, they deserve 5 definitely

One of the best restaurants I've visited in the days I've been here! Genuinely nice and funny server, and the food was amazing. The dishes were smaller then in most places, but it was still plenty in my opinion. Great place!

Great meal and even better service! On the evening we were there, a group of about ten somewhat rowdy, but engaging, young guys celebrating a bachelor party showed up. The staff didn’t miss a beat handling both them and the rest of their patrons. One of our most memorable and fun evenings in Tuscany!

Do not understand the mixed reviews online!
Located in a lovely square just off the main street in Pienza it has lovely charm and gives you the opportunity to escape the hussle and bustle of the main Street! The staff are very attentive and friendly and knowledgeable about the menu! We enjoyed our meal very much!
