We used the Hotel as a hub for 5 nights to explore Val d’Orcia, Siena and surroundings. Borgo Sant’Ambrogio is a wonderful and tranquil place overlooking the country side and offers privacy without feeling lonely or secluded. The entire team - from Gardener to Manager - is extremely friendly and makes you feel welcome every second. There is also very nice restaurant in the hotel, we ended up four out of five times there… Needless to say that the quality is very good. All in all a memorable stay in April 2024 and we wish Lucia and her fantastic team continuous success in their efforts.

Hidden gem in the middle of a dirt road on the way to Pienza. The hotel has amazing views, a beautiful infinite pool and a great restaurant. Rooms are quite spacious and romantic. Only con I would say is that the walls are a bit thin, I could hear my neighbors, but it wasn't an issue at the end. Highly recommended for weddings as well, it has a lot of spots for a beautiful wedding

We had a great one-night stay in Borgo Sant'Ambrogio. Although it was November and there were only maybe 5 other couples staying, the staff was very friendly and made sure we had everything, including a very good breakfast with some of the best views. All restaurants in nearby Pienza were already closed for the winter so we opted to have dinner at the resort which was a great experience! With a special recommendation for the tiramisu, which was the very best I tried in Italy (and therefore the world).

I do hope they will fix the entry path to the estate. We were lucky to have a SUV and there was no rain, but the level of service and comfort at the resort is not in line with the bad condition of the path. Having said that, it is still worth crossing it!

5 stars all around. They made such a special effort for my vegetarian friend, who does not eat eggs either. The food and drink were great, as were the views. Very hospitable staff. I would come again, and highly recommend it to my friends and family.

After a slightly adventurous journey, we arrived at the resort - a dream come true!
Great view, wonderful room, beautiful gardens.
Especially worth mentioning is the exceptionally friendly and cordial staff at the reception and in the breakfast room.

Absolutely beautiful resort. Never stayed at such a grand resort. Shower water was erratic and the room was quite warm, thus the 4 star on the room. The room was beautiful as well though. Dinner was very good. Service was excellent.

Amazing place. We wish we stayed longer. The views are truly spectacular. Nothing prepares you for the serenity of this place. Dinner at the place is a must. Delicious home made pasta, accompanied by a local wine. The staff are wonderful and nothing is too much to ask.

I would love to rate with 6 stars! We did regret that we stayed only one night because the stay was so perfect. The location is truly Tuscany, the property is build with so much love in the details, the rooms were spacious and comfortable, everything was clean, the service was unbelievable friendly and the breakfast also really good! I can't wait to come back some day.

We loved the Borgo and didn't want to leave. The vibe of the hotel is impeccable - beautiful views, completely relaxing space, and breakfast and dinner are delicious. Couldn't have been happier with our stay and would love to return.

Beautiful, stunning, very well kept gem. Delicious cuisine, very gracious and friendly staff that has made us feel so welcome. Even though the pandemic has forced us to cancel a celebration here, we all can not wait to return. I can recommend this beautiful place with all my heart.

Un posto da cui innamorarsi / a place to fall in love with.
From the welcoming staff and the attention to detail, to the wonderful restaurant, every aspect of your stay has been delicately arranged by loving patrons.

We had initially planned our trip around Tuscany a bit differently, and change course last minute. I found this option after going through several others, but had we known before, we would have definitely made this gorgeous place our primary destination.

In addition, the restaurant is not only impeccably designed with a mix of traditional and modern, but also locally stocked with KM 0 ingredients, from the wine to the food, everything is local.
*Caters to Gluten free and other dietary restrictions.
Great tip: if you ask, you can also visit their partner suppliers, including cheese and butter producers!

Will definitely be coming back.

Great little resort on top of the Tuscan hills.

There is a pool and nice gardens to sit and enjoy the sun.

We were there for a wedding and everything was absolutely excellent.

Outstanding. Great people, wounderful harden, good food, only downturn is that the rooms (not the apartments) are a bit small.
