Food is amazing here and nice atmosphere on outdoor terrace. We ordered lasagna and wine. Also pecorino cheese. Everything was delicious. Waiter is very friendly, gave us suggestions and stopped me when I wanted to order to much. Really good and nice place. Love it and recommend!

We had lunch at this charming family-owned restaurant, "Trattoria," on April 29, 2024, during our visit to the picturesque village of Pienza. As a group of four discerning Italians, we have high standards for food and are naturally skeptical about dining in touristy spots.

Our experience exceeded all expectations, thanks in large part to the exceptional service provided by Ludovica. The food was absolutely exceptional, and the entire staff was incredibly friendly, hospitable, and made us feel right at home. I highly recommend indulging in the exquisite bruschetta with fegatelli, as well as the delectable gnocchi with cheese and truffle, crowned with delightful slices of truffle. To our delight, they even served us a complimentary half portion of "pici all'aglione," insisting that we try it. The pricing was also more than fair.

We are already looking forward to returning!

Please go eat here! If you want Tuscan home cooked food by Italian grandma, this is the place. The food is literally cooked by an Italian grandma who I think opened the restaurant for many years already. Everyone was welcoming and the food was heavenly. I had like 100EUR per person fine dining in Tuscany resorts and it did not hold a candle to this place. We had roast pig a few times in Florence and Tuscany and this place was the best. I also ordered mushroom lasagna which was "grandma's recommended menu" and it was... so good... My wife who normally doesn't like cheesy food like Lasagna was even amazed by the dish. You don't get to drive to these medieval towns much in your lifetime but this place makes me want to go back. The dessert was also amazing. One of the best I ate in Italy during my 1 month stay for sure. It's always these kinds of small home cooked places that surprises you the most.

Absolutely the best meal we had while in Tuscany. Truly. The family that runs this restaurant is the absolute sweetest. The food is for the discerning palate. We tried about 10 different dishes between my family. And while I did unfortunately have a few bad meals from restaurants with good reviews, this one was a beautiful exception. Would come back for every meal if I could.

One of my favorite spots in all of Italy. My husband & I planned our 10 year wedding anniversary trip around this place bc that’s how good it is.
The staff always make us feel like we’ve returned home and the food is made with love.
You cannot go wrong with anything here.
We’ve frequented many times and never had a bad dish.
A couple of our staples are the lasagna & the pork.
If you are able to get in here for a meal, consider yourself blessed.
We are looking forward to returning soon.

Great place with absolutely delicious food and super friendly Staff. We've been there 3 Times. Before and after the bike tour of Val d'Orcia. The waiter recognised and gave us a free cake for the drinks, to regain energy as they said. We decided to come back for lunch which was one if the best food experience we had during our stay in Italy. Pasta and deserts are Worth the sin.

We came here for lunch following a recommendation from our friend Ludwig, the sindaco di Nalles (Alto Adige). We were not disappointed! Very friendly chef and service, great antipasti and a maialino so delicious, definitely to remember! Mangiato da dio!

Love this little trattoria. The service was exceptional, they are so friendly and love that it’s a family owned trattoria. The food was really exceptional. Really good home cooking that was fresh, so full of flavour and perfect sized portions. The restaurant is only open for lunch service and incredibly popular so get there early or make a reservation. We loved it so much we are going back tomorrow. I had the cacio e tartufo and my husband had the rabbit. Both exceptional. We also shared a gorgeous caprese salad. He had dessert, semifreddo with grand marnier, he was in heaven! They kindly gave us as an extra beautiful apple cake and 2 glass of dolce vino to finish off. Was a perfect lunch

LOVED THIS TRATTORIA! Ludovica and Family are fabulous! Location was romantic and situated in a stunning little piazza. Drinks were amazing but the food was just scrumptious!!! A fabulous Lunch served by very friendly & helpful staff- great meats & cheese which we shared: super tasty lasagne & tagliatelle ragù & eggs with pecorino cheese & truffle - all delicious. Great food. The place is a little small inside as you always have to wait for someone to pass. Did I say the food is great?

My husband and I went to this restaurant a few days ago for lunch. What a fabulous meal we had. The service and atmosphere were lovely as well. I left my scarf at the restaurant and went back the next day to see if they had it. Sure enough it was hanging on a hook by the front door. She was so happy I came back for it. I had bought that scarf 5 years ago in Sicily and means a lot to me. If you have a chance try this restaurant on your visit to Pienza. It’s wonderful.

The best Tuscany has to offer. . . I circled back as I was going through my 2018 trip and realized it wasn't saved in the timeline. . Fantastic food

Very nice location and very nice food ...the pici a particular kindy of pasta with truffle are amazing the little pig amazing the duk amazing Roberto i think the honer he looked after us....is a incredible location where spent a beautiful lunch time if you wanna discover the toscany kitchen...all the meber of the staff are very nice...i hope to come back soon

So damn good. Honestly quite impressed we stumbled upon this one. I think it's a multi-generational run restaurant with Nona in the kitchen. We loved the pici bolognaise, the melted Pecoraro with onion jam and truffle, and the deserts oh my god. Just go and lap up siting in the lush garden.

Wonderful place and great family restaurant with spectacular food! Pasta was tasteful and delicious. Nona cooked the rabbit, it’s special! You have to try!

Awesome place run by a family. So much different than all those tourist-oriented, generic "true-Tuscan" restaurants, focused on the crowd at the gates. This was the first place where the person from the service staff started a conversation and I felt it was honest and driven by a true curiosity. This quick chat was so nice, it's hard to describe. It's so hard to find this so-called Italian spirit nowadays anywhere, and I found it in the restaurant at the very end of charming Pienza. Go, take pasta or vegetable soup, ask for Vin Santo and home-made dessert. You'll thank me later. Cheers from Poland!

What a surprising gem. We stopped in for lunch and didn’t expect much. We were blown away with the homemade pasta made by Nona herself. This is one of those incredible places where the whole family works and puts their heart and soul into everything. The pici pasta with truffle and cheese is something I’ll never forget
