Lovely and clean hotel, with private parking. Delicious breakfast and very hospitable people. We rented e-bikes and received advice on scenic routes to take. The pool is clean and nice, even if there are repairs happening near it, this was no problem for using it. We had a great time and recommend this place!

The hotel was great. Family owned and operated, very friendly. I washed my clothes and hung them up around the room to dry, then left for a day trip. When I returned there was a drying rack in the room with my clothes hung up to dry. Amazing services. The hotel is located just a few minutes walk to the Pienza village with amazing restaurants and shops. Also, if you’re a traveler with a car, they have a parking garage. I can’t wait to go back. Thank you Nicola for a fantastic Italian stay.

Wonderful hotel. Excellent room, wonderful breakfast, beautiful common rooms. Our room was a large one bedroom with a couch. The windows were large and let in lots of light. The hotel had free parking and an elevator. It was well located on the edge of Pienza, walking distance to everything in this beautiful hill town. We only stayed one night but I would have loved to stay longer. I will stay again if I return to Pienza. Highly recommend.

We were in the area for a family wedding and highly recommend the Hotel San Gregorio! The parents of the bride hosted a lovely reception one evening which was catered by the Hotel. The food, wine and service were amazing. There is a lovely pool, free parking and breakfast and there is air conditioning, but the location and service were definitely the stand out features of this place!

We highly recommend Hotel San Gregorio for anyone visiting Pienza or the surrounding region. The reception staff were friendly and courteous. Our room was more than spacious and very comfortable. We immensely enjoyed several meals, including breakfast each morning, at the hotel restaurant, La Piazzetta. Honestly, all of our meals there were simply outstanding! In addition, the hotel enjoys a fantastic location, just a few steps from the west gate into the old town of Pienza. Thanks to everyone at Hotel San Gregorio for helping to make our first visit to the hill towns of Tuscany so pleasurable and memorable!

Easy driving into Pienza and finding the hotel and snagged a free parking spot on a nearby street. We were warmly welcomed into this beautiful hotel and surprised by our two room suite room #202. We had paid a very reasonable room rate that included breakfast. The breakfast offers a fantastic selection of self serve cereals and fruits and then an area where guests can select from a buffet of eggs bacon cheeses pastries that will be served to you. We have been to Pienza on two short visits previously and nothing beats actually starting here. We enjoyed the most gorgeous Tuscan sunset from the Il Casello Bar. This hotel is perfectly situated right near the entrance to the beautiful town. We highly recommend!

This was our second time here. Room was very spacious, clean and quiet. The spa tub was great for relaxing after sightseeing. Very nice to have kitchen area although we didn’t use it. The restaurant was very good for dinner. Breakfast on the patio was very nice. The location was perfect. The staff was very friendly. Would definitely recommend.

Stayed here 5 nights after first trying a different hotel. So glad we moved. The other hotel was similar cost but much much more old and tired with shabby furnishings and weak air conditioning. This hotel has obviously been recently re-furbished. It has an excellent location merely 1/2 block from the entrance to old town Pienza. The staff was great. Breakfast was top notch. I highly recommend this place.

I was originally booked at another hotel but they had an error with their system and couldn’t accommodate me but arranged for my booking and payment to be transferred to San Gregorio!
Buona fortuna per me!
I was greeted with warmth and efficiency. The room had a spa bath and a deliciously hot shower. The bed was super comfortable and the room / apartment in general was clean and quiet.
Breakfast the next morning was a wonderful spread of sweet and savory - delicious and substantial.
I met several of the staff and everyone of them was friendly, helpful and professional.
The center of the town of Pienza is right nearby (1min walk) and such a lovely little place - all the shops I visited and places I ate or drank at were wonderful - a very happy town with an amazing spot for viewing Mt Amiata and the sunset!

Beautiful hotel, great and nice clean room, very friendly and service minded staff. Near the entrance gate of Pienza, great car park and a brilliant restaurant. And very important to us that our dog Max was welcome and liked by everyone.
