We thoroughly enjoyed a wine tasting here while enjoying stunning views. The Riserva and the Super Tuscan are amazing wines. Antonio was very welcoming. We had a lovely time in this beautiful place. When we passed the entrance on the highway we were not sure if we were allowed to enter since we were not guests there. But we are very happy that we decided to drive in and we were delighted to find that is is open to everyone. We highly recommend!

Everything about my stay at Palazzo Massanini was incredible. I would highly recommend staying here to my family and friends. From the kind and super accommodating staff to the beautiful grounds, I was blown away. Thank you for such an amazing stay, can't wait to come back and visit. My only wish is that we stayed longer!

We absolutely LOVED staying at Palazzo Massanini! Not only is the property absolutely gorgeous but The hospitality we received upon arrival from Catalina and Francesca was above and beyond. They helped us book dinners reservations and made sure all of our questions were answered. The pool overlooking the Tuscan hills was a highlight as we spent many afternoons here relaxing. It’s also only a 5 minute drive from Pienza which in my opinion is one of the cutest towns in Tuscany! We will 100% be coming back to Palazzo! Oh, and the included breakfast everyday was superb :)

Fairy tale setting with three locations; the winery castle, the chateau with bedrooms and breakfast & the house with pool. The wines are very nice. The white wine is nice for in the sun and the chianti is nicely fruity. The hotel has nice beds and a good breakfast with lots of choice. Very nice and highly recommended

A wonderful stay. We were immensely pleased with our time at Palazzo Massanini. The welcome was warm and the staff were always very helpful and served a delicious breakfast each day. Well located with only a 10min journey to Pienza which is now our favourite Tuscan town. Rooms and pool were great too with amazing views of the surrounding countryside.

We visited with a group of friends in the month of October and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The place is perfect for an authentic Tuscan experience for anyone enjoying nature, food and a welcoming ambiance of this part of the world. It’s perfectly suited for groups and people looking to spend time amongst themselves. Rooms are clean and fresh with nice local touches, tastefully decorated without spoiling the heritage. Breakfast was delicious and prepared using local produce only, which I loved.

There are many places nearby to visit, such as vineyards, a flower farm and picturesque towns, as well as the gorgeous 16th century palace Massaini, along with its home produced olive oil and wines. Our hostess had prepared some activities for us, for example an Italian cooking class. This I would highly recommend, our instructors Paolo and Francesca were very professional yet friendly, entertaining and approachable and the food we cooked was simply divine.

We enjoyed some nice morning walks in the nearby environment and even had a dip in the pool which was clean and peaceful, albeit a bit cold this time of year.

The restaurants which we were recommended for the evenings were amazing and a wonderful display of seasonality, local ingredients and Italian culinary culture.

Had we stayed longer I would have enjoyed biking and recommendations of hikes and trails to explore. I would love to return for an active holiday, ex. yoga retreat.

I would recommend this for anyone looking for a peaceful holiday in stunning settings where you are able to use your own car. However, if you normally enjoy a busy night life and all inclusive hotels this will not be your type of holiday.

I stayed for four days in this stunningly beautiful place. It was October and so charming, perfect for walks and for visiting this domain that also produces its own wine and olive oil. Really close to both Pienza and Montepulciano,. The breakfast was divine with a variety of locally produced cheeses, yoghurt, olives, honey, eggs, fruit, you name it. Excellent coffee too. The houses for rent are tastefully renovated yet maintaining the charm of the beautiful stone buildings. I totally recommend.

We were attracted by the beautiful view on our drive from Montepulciano to Pienza.

We had a very nice wine tasting here and then enjoyed all the wines. Nice wines brought! Will definitely come back for the agriturismo.

I don't want to give this place a review it deserves for fear of it being swarmed with people the next time I want to go. The setting is magical. There are three groups of buildings, each a short drive from each other, so you could be staying in any of them. We were provided a lovely pair of rooms with a bathroom and they could not have been more gorgeously situtated. For the price it really is a wonderful place. The breakfast was a European style breakfast with a nice selection of food. The staff were very polite and inviting. I wish I was there now.

Verry quite and beautiful place. Really nice walks around. I have tasted what it really feels to be in Italy. The castle is private, there are no rooms available for sleeping in the casle but there is agroturistico location 500 m fron tge castle

A magical last minute discovery, fond memories of my stay in 2017. A wonderful base to explore the Val d'Orcia and Pienza.

From the road it looks like a castle. They make and bottle their own wines and olive oils. It's also a B&B. The views are breath taking.
